I think the reader has a good voice (vocally) but the writing sometimes/often makes me cringe; and cliche or toxic/culturally influenced terms are favored over ordinary and more respectful terms. Or in other words, if I wanted to watch porn I would. Show me something different. More interesting. Less objectifying women. Show me something original. Have your own voice and don't mimic others. What in recent history is worth mimicing anyway? If youre making this product you need to show us why you consider yourself a worthy voice for such a thing.
