angryundiesInsightful, playful, and criticalThese three strike a balance many podcasts can only try to manage. Also they make me cackle while making dinner alone.
-
Autistic AutomatonGreat BanterI’m a sucker for banter in podcasts, so this is right up my alley. Oh and they review movies as well.

modbus34Great movie review podcastOnly compliant is I’m getting to the end and will have to become a Patreon to listen to the bonus episodes.

sigloxvI don’t know but what do heterosexual white men think about it?I don’t know, with this show looking at this overtly sexist material, it just seems like generic white men named Matt might be a better fit. Since they pretended to be James Bond as kids, and you can listen to their incredibly boring lives and their boring relationship that is entirely built around business. I’m just hating on James Bonding with good reason. I’m supposed to say ‘cheers’ because you are British. Or should I say London, England, have you heard of it? Its the two islands floating above Europe. We have to assume they have an anti-grav gun to remain in that position. I may or may not be a stupid American who doesn’t know the differences. Like what’s a Welsh person? I wouldn’t know, I don’t even have a train to ride.

raaiinnyyyyyGreatStill 5 stars because while I don’t agree with everything that the hosts say but its fine because I find it quite enjoyable and the podcast is exceptionally produced with relatively nuanced perspective. The hard hitting questions are answered, albeit somewhat poorly- such as the chimp with a sword chasing you down problem. Please keep it grounded in reality I know Devon is swole but a chimp is extraordinarily strong in comparison to a human. At best we can reliably win in a fight against a small dog.

DolanCMBSNReductive…look it up 🫖The first episode I tried was the one covering “Die Another Day,” and I had to turn it off after just 15 minutes when they said that Madonna’s theme song for the movie was bad. I can see critiquing it for being a bit “one-note” or not fitting with the sound of the other Bond songs, but to act like it’s terrible…I don’t see it at all! It’s a stellar pop song, it’s one of Madonna’s best, and it’s one of the best Bond theme songs! They also included a bit of analysis of popular music trends at the time and it’s clear that they just did not know what they were talking about. Anyway, listen to Trash Future and Well There’s Your Problem, you can skip this mess 💀

The Spy With a Red HatFantasticAn incredible podcast that critically examines the misogyny and racism baked in to the bond canon. Also there’s some hauntology
-
student@IUvery nice podcastI like this podcast very much.

kat8478493PaywallsWhen I’m really thinking very critically about the hundreds of thousands(more? Idek?) of tiny walled off little bubbles of every kind behind paywalls and subscriptions, and their impact on social discourse and many many MANY other aspects of our society [and on the left and it’s efforts in particular], I hardily cheer your current Winter of [dis]Content.

CLJ810Ruins you for all other 007-related podcastsLove these people and their take on Bond and related movies. They’re awesome!

SpongeBobbyHil589Progressive bondYikes. Advocates for a Woker and broker Bond. The “Comedy” is what you expect out of hack sitcom canned laughter. Nice to see they point out some of the absurdity in the bond franchise and especially the later movies, though camp has always been part of the series, but what makes this podcast so egregious is how intolerable the hosts are. The hosts, would have you believe that Bond is an outdated, misogynistic character and has become a self-parody. Maybe partly true, but what the hosts fail to realized is how they themselves are worst self-parody of the self-absorbed tumblr woke activist "comedy" podcaster. Not sure if there's a more pathetic type of person than that. Not that this podcast has any real influence, but still it should serve as a reminder to writers that they should never try to placate to this crowd bc they'll never be satiisfied wether it be representation, sexism, ect. A truely miserable bunch. Thankfully Bond is dead and this podcast hopefully soon as well.

Hammurabi“L, Mr. Bond” is my ringtonePierce Brosnan was my favorite guest host. I hope they have him back on.

Wewoot68What if a British guy was horny an ItalianAs a young boy I spent many a holiday watching Bond marathons on TV. My father bought me a bootleg box set of ever Bond movie, and some of then even had the option to turn off the Chinese subtiles! Needless to say I have seen all of them multiple times even the Timothy Dalton ones. As I think many young Bond fans I grew out of them. I now find them puerile to the point where the fun in watching them is laughing at the absurdity. With the just rampant sexual violence chances to scream at the TV (this part less fun and my partner agrees with that). This is where Kill James Bond comes in. Do you want all the fun of laughing at the stupid bit of movies you have seen like 10 times on Christmas holiday? Does your partner want you to stop screaming at the TV that James Bond should be on the sex offenders registry? Do you think that Abi’s voice from Philosophy Tube is deeply relaxing? Well good news for your partner, Kill James Bond is the perfect podcast. As the title of this review suggests the podcast also answers the deepest question in the universe: What if a British man was horny like an Italian. Turns out he would make a terrible spy who is one of the world’s most psychopathic sex pests.

Classic FinderThe Kevin McClory of Bond PodcastsToo much hating…. The cheesiness of flaws is part of the greatness of the movies. We don’t care about the special effects flaws or plot holes. For the time these were made this was trendsetting. 007 gave birth to the spy movies of today in my opinion. You guys are hating on the movies to make money off the movies. Find a series you like. There’s enough negativity and snideness about other people’s work.

pretty boi pol potThey’re EnglishSo you know it’s bad.
-
swordchuckProbably the most philosophically important discussion of our age.Come to hear Philosophy Tube talk about James Bond, stay for the discussion about the intricacies of Car 9/11.
-
HeyAleChuflyCars 2 never the sameI just finished the episode on Cars 2 and oh my oh my My mind is spinning and I’ll never watch another animated movie with the same innocent eyes again. Great program, great questions. Had a blast

downer19Clever and hilariousLove the Bond films or hate them, this is a great podcast. Witty and clever hosts break down every Bond film in detail, pointing out many of the absurdities you probably missed. They are hilarious and brilliant, and their laughter is infectious. An instant favorite for me. Highly recommended.

Alabama's no. 1 TS fanUm okAlice is a friggin crazy person and should not have a platform but the other two are not necessarily bad and the podcast has some good chat I guess
-
serpentmechanismGreat stuffI’ve never watched a James Bond movie in my entire life and now, thanks to this podcast, I’ll never have to.
-
Anonomes[untitled]I am, perhaps, not exactly the target demographic because I do not enjoy when podcast hosts “c**k the audience,” but clearly that resonates with lots of people. Subject matter is cool, feminism is cool, the concept of well-read trans people hosting podcasts is cool.
-
Recycled OJA Great Perspective on BondA fun podcast that at times delves into the history of the films and how it ties into world that produced them.
-
Catepic234I don’t know what hauntology is and at this point i’m too afraid to askNever have I wanted to kill James Bond more! This podcast is a good laugh, I always look forward to it.
-
MatthewwritesI love this show as much as I despise James BondAnd I despise him so deeply that even a underwater jet streaming urine could not reach the deepest depths of my hatred.
-
Tek JansenIngenious, isn’t it Mr. Bont?Enjoyable show on a subject I previously could not car less about. Never really cared for Bond movies, but the ladies on this pod gave me a reason to give them another go. Happy I did. Listening after watching each film is like a book club without having to pretend I read anything.
-
Wharvesfriendthe funniest podcast of our timeyou gotta listen

YouareawizzardharryThis is comic goldAn instant favorite. I cannot remember laughing harder than I did during these episodes.

sg_the_beeBest Podcast, Not Just Best Bond PodcastDid I ever think someone would create the perfect podcast? Not since I first watched the Bond films in highschool with my best friend over a couple dozen Fridays have I found such a perfect encapsulation of my bizarre love of this ridiculous secret agent series. The whole of this podcast and its existence makes me smile. I recommend this podcast to anyone who doesn’t take Bond seriously and wants to rewatch their problematic fave with other trans folks, if only in a virtual/parasocial way.

GarbgerFinally a James Bond podcast for the rest of usBy the rest of us, I mean transgender communists who hate James Bond but do still watch James Bond movies, which admittedly is a narrow band of society but I am a member of it.
-
Polisciw00tAlready hooked!I’ve always loved Abi’s work but the first episode of this show alone has made me love her even more. And I’d never heard Alice or Devon’s work before so I’m excited to hear more of them, they’re delightful!

systemaSo powerful that it broke Podbean!I was going to listen to episode 1 before writing a review, but it turns out that this is already a 5-star podcast. The moment they launched, Podbean was targeted by a DDoS attack, and as a result I couldn’t listen to the first episode. The crew behind this podcast has confirmed on Twitter that their episode was so explosive that it caused MI6 to launch that attack in a desperate attempt to prevent its distribution. And that’s how I came to understand that this is the greatest podcast of all.
