VTREIGNImprovedThe show is well researched but Jeff inserts way too many of his own opinions and petty beefs.
-

Cupcake seanAverage at bestInformation is good however his style isnt for me. The inflection he puts into his speech along with the constant saying of the subject name in every episode. If its about john gotti you will hear john gotti what seems like 50 times. At some point we know who you are talking about. I listened for a while because the info is pretty good but i have stopped. The last episode in a 30 min podcast there were 4 commercial breaks. Too much for me

mgeparkGreat podcastGreat podcast and I wanted to congratulate you on the mention of your show in the New York Times within the past week as being an initial source of reporting on a particular case that they wrote a story about.

Mario's I5Hypocrisy at its finestGood information. However their man crush they have for Joe Massino who was a RAT just as much as the man they hate Sammy Gravano is quite hypocritical. One minute they call anyone who cooperates a “rat” then praised Massino for a whole episode. Also you guys have got to learn how to talk on a mic. The lack of consistency in the volume is annoying.

Rocky Mountain NoleGet your audio figured out!Listen to exactly 4 minutes of episode 167. You’ve always had audio problems but wow. This time is unbearable. Did you even listen to the episode before releasing. You do great work and I love the pod. But come on man.

Carran1966QuestionLove the show I’ve noticed that you cover primarily the East Coast mob families; I was wondering if any of the former mob families from the south are still active ie: Texas, Louisiana etc?
-
HhhhsosgedbStop TalkingThe show would be dramatically better if the guest would be allowed to speak more and not be interrupted
-
boutbread247Can you do a bmf episodeGreat show love it

InquiryRulesVery Interesting contentAs someone who has always had an interest in organized crime, I find the episodes well written and researched. The only gentle criticism I would give is the sound quality varies at times and is hard to hear. I will keep listening

TramparellaOMG!!!I cannot believe I just now found this podcast!!! You guys are fantastic!!! LOVE THIS PODCAST! LOVE YOU GUYS!! I started at the very first story and had to immediately skip to Tony Spilatro. I dated one of Tony’s nephews for a long time. We are still very close. He hates talking about his uncle and his “legacy”. He is the son of the brother who kept his hands clean. I attend the Spilatro family reunion every year in Vegas. I have the t-shirts! Love your coverage of Tony. I’m not sure if this podcast is still up and running. I haven’t looked yet because I’ll be heartbroken if it’s not! I went back up to the top and just finished Jimmy Burke. So, I have plenty of episodes to scroll through. Just love you guys!!! 💕 You have surpassed my all of my favorite podcasts! Including True Crime Garage and Sword and Scale! That is saying a lot! 👏😁🫶👍👍👊

Roland the headlessEpisode #150Do your research… “ the Quran doesn’t say anything about killing people in it” . It literally says the trees and stones will give up the Jews hiding behind them so they can be killed by Muslim soldiers of God. Please do not say things as fact when you obviously haven’t done any research. You are better than that and your job description should include research. R.P

jman2323AwesomeJeff does a great job on this podcast. I particularly enjoy when he has guests on that were once involved in the life. I rarely write reviews but felt the show deserved it after listening to almost every episode. Nice work man!

GutstringmanThank youJeff, thank you for an always well put together and completely informative show. As someone who used to live in New York City in our lives in California, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this as many of the places you mention are actually real places and I’ve seen them in those of us that I’ve lived in New York really know what you’re talking about. You are wonderful. Please keep doing what you’re doing.

D_DroLove it!Loved the Sonny Franzese episode! Mob history has always fascinated and intrigued me. It’s nice to hear the back stories of so many of these guys who you only hear about in tv shows or movies. I also enjoy learning about the lesser known people as well. So entertaining! Thank You Jeff and Blackjack!

snootybasturdIt’s actually goodI actually like the actual show. It actually has good actual information and actually good mob background. I will actually keep actually listening. Actually the only actual thing I actually have actually against the actual show is this. The actual host actually has a an actual verbal crutch that actually gets actually on my actual nerves actually.
-
Karl w/ a ‘K’Jeff is the GuyJeff is the guy. You don’t know about the mob? That’s fine, you got Jeff Nadu here. Don’t be a scrub. Listen to the podcast. Only scrubs don’t listen to Jeff Nadu. 10/10
-
ExtremeGamePlayer3000Great ShowThis podcast is GREAT because all of the info is accurate. Jeff takes the time to make sure the stories he tells are true and can be verified. If they can’t , he lets you know. This is a great show!!
-
YUsucksobadAddictive and fascinatingI always enjoy listening to someone discuss a topic they are passionate about and this certainly qualifies. Fascinating profiles of assorted organized crime figures, many of whom I’ve never even heard of. Add to that, no non-sequitur political or pandering social justice diatribes up to this point. Pretty rare these days, so I’ll take it!
-
IEM1967Some episodes flatThere are some episodes, including Kansas City episode that are just too dry. By that I mean that it listens like someone reading Wikipedia. In general, I enjoy this show most when the host is discussing things that he seems to have a direct knowledge of. There are shows that seem like filler, which I do understand due to the need to produce content.
