    Great Concept, Even Better Execution
Ryan and Seth bring it week in, week out. Come for the jokes, stay for the schooling in making ridiculous constraints into kind of awesome script ideas. Fuel for your brain and a feather for your funny bone. Can't rec it highly enough. Oh, and they run a nice little Discord if you want to dive deeper. Cheers, guys, you deserve it.

    Lovely
Spotify says this is one of my favorite podcasts, I guess I’d have to agree. Ryan and Seth are lovely.

    My Movie Dreams Fulfilled
Wow, what a show. Ryan and Seth really know how to put on a show. Even though I look up both of these guys and want to be just like them, it’s very nice to see that the idea generation process is similar to mine! Except I don’t have the pressure of that gosh darn, demanding, Hollywood watching over my shoulder at all times like these two do for an hour a week. It must be rough! Hollywood: so demanding! These guys know how to take the really fun parts about writing and put it into a hilarious podcast that always makes me want to make more films! Thanks Ryan and Seth and team!

    Makes Me Happy
This is a great idea for a podcast. Lots o’ humor. Please keep doing it, brightens my day!

    Simply a really great listen.
You can tell these dudes are good friends. It’s cool to see them be creative together and bring their unique tastes to each concept. The banter has legitimately had me ROFLcoptering inside my car. Literally LOLing while driving. Kind of dangerous. But worth every minute of listening. I really wish some of these would get made! Can’t wait for season 2.

    A fresh air of breath
Thoroughly entertaining. Not a good show to listen to at the gym, because you’ll look insane randomly bursting out laughing mid-curl. True story.

Ryan and Seth will change your lives…
They are the funny and entertaining and also very informative. Fun fact Seth doesn’t watch movies. Also, Seth directed a Star Trek commercial so you know you are great hands.

When this show started, I wasn’t a writer at all. Now look at me, Pixar just greenlit my Disney miniseries “Chicken Many” in partnership with American fast food restaurant Hardees. Thanks Ryan and Seth. You’ve taken me from 3-writes-make-a-wrong to Writey-Tighty. —Seth Smom XVIII

Good for writers, fans of movies, and people who love podcasts
There’s a lot for everyone in this podcast. As an affluent movie viewer, I appreciate Ryan and Seth's love (and reference) of movies. As an aspiring filmmaker, I love hearing them come up with ideas on the fly, which I feel is something all creatives can relate to. And as a person who commutes to work, I enjoy listening to them berate themselves and their ideas while I yell at them in my car on my way to and from work. But more than anything, I like that I can tell Ryan and Seth are good peoples, whom have similar interests as me. And the focus group portion at the end is always great, because you can hear them realize how great/terrible their idea actually was. My favorite concept of theirs is probably 'Pine Bluff Summons'. What's yours?

Who’s Line Is It Anyway, but more self-deprecating
Seth and Ryan deliver a fresh, hilarious and unpredictable series where they create a new Hollywood film every week, in only 60 minutes. And it’s always worth it. Occasional guest appearances make for extra fun, but they hold their own. 11/10.

Fun show whether you’re a writer or a human
You’ll be yelling your own ideas/suggestions at Ryan and Seth, making you look just as crazy as you actually are.

    Cackled Until I Coughed
For anyone who daydreams, writes in any fashion, or regularly tells stories. There are so many ways to waste time in this beautiful thing called life, but very few are better than listening to The Writer’s Room Game Show.

    Talk out your problems
I enjoy this podcast and often talk out loud to them. It’s nice to hear other writers talking out story beats rather than just seeing someone write out a story beat chart. I now wish I had someone to just vomit out ideas too. My one complaint/criticism is that there are a lot of ads for the Storyclock Notebook but yet they don’t use it on the podcast. Why should I buy this thing? Can’t wait to hear the next!

    Awesome Podcast
Ryan and Seth, I am loving your podcast (awesome music too). As a newbie writer learning the ropes, it's so helpful to hear how you brainstorm ideas. (Spoilers Ahead) The pitch you and Ryan came up with for a one shot Superman story from Lois’s perspective was really fantastic. As a big comic and Superman fan I would love to see that story. With Lois’s dad being a military general, it would create even more conflict for her and Clark. I would watch that film in a second. Looking forward to your future episodes, thanks again!

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am so happy I stumbled across this podcast. As a lifetime theater kid and improvisor, seeing the behind the scenes of the creative process has always been fascinating. Listening to Ryan and Seth work out the story lines is hilarious, educational, and overall a good time. I definitely recommend giving this a listen.

As thoughtful as it is wacky
Ben and Ryan have great voices and chemistry as they walk the audience through the beats of a story they are spinning on the fly. The inclusion of studio notes to knock them off balance are a ton of fun.The overall format of the show keeps what might otherwise devolve into total chaos focused, structured, easy to follow and most of all fun. Can’t wait for the next one.
