Something about her delivery makes me feel as though I’m talking to good a friend of mine. She does a great job. Emily Hanks has quickly become my favorite Bravo reviewer.

I love Emily’s analysis of the shows she covers and her personality and humor that comes through every time. I always love to hear her takes - even if I happen to disagree or even if I haven’t watched the show!

This podcast isn’t consistent. Sometimes it’s great and then sometimes it feels like she is phoning it in.

I LOVE EMILY HANKS. She’s like the cooler version of me if I wasn’t stuck in the Midwest. Same age, same obsession with pop culture, same love of talking about everything Bravo. In my opinion this is THE BEST Bravo pop culture podcast.

Love this podcast, how many shows it covers. RHOSL impressions are top tier. Emily is super entertaining and really good at what she does.

I just found this podcast, and it’s truly one of the best Bravo/pop culture podcasts around! Emily is right up there with Watch What Crappens and The Brav Bros!

Disappointed by labeling a victim and whistleblower as mentally unstable. Speculating that the news program regretted the decision when it’s standard to vet a guest & they knew exactly who they asked to be on the program. Discrediting someone’s word because it sounds crazy to you is dangerous. You don’t have to co-sign it but you’re actively negating things that you have no idea about. Their word was deemed crazy in the past and now there is concrete proof. The lie is more comfortable than the truth. It’s more than just one person with similar accounts. Troy McEady does intense research before giving an opinion on very serious topics. I’m giving 3 stars instead of 1 because there is no personal ill will but a call to reflect, release anger and move forward more thoughtfully.

I enjoy Emily’s takes and her attitude. One of my favorite podcasts for listening to Bravo recaps and news. Thanks Emily, you’re doing a great job! 💖

When you talk about President Obama participating in “freak-offs” that’s when I’m out!

The mean girl bullying to other creators on IG and also putting that hate fueled speech behind a paywall is absolutely ridiculous. Getting other podcasters to hop on the hate train is also ridiculous. You podcasters really think you’re someone special don’t you? Treating your peers like this bc you have a large following that’ll listen to your complaints. You’re a mean spirited person w/ no real sense of knowledge; your entire podcast (& online personality), much like your IG, is based off your only emotion…anger.

A lot of bizarre use of AAVE, a lot of diet talk and equating thinness to superiority and morality, the episodes have gotten a lot shorter and less consistent, not covering a lot of bravo shows (Dubai, rhonj), pia who was crucial to the podcast is now gone. I want to hang in there bc I used to really look forward to it.

But where’s Pia!!!

I would say I generally like this, but it is pretty clear the host takes a beat and reads the commentary and then forms their opinion. I started listening a bit earlier, but now that it is so obvious, it kind of makes it harder to get by listening. It’s weird to form your opinion after asking your guest what they think.

Just gross - gross - gross

Used to love this show. Not so much anymore. It’s not her content, the bravo recaps are good. She’s just very judgemental and calls for bullying of anybody who isn’t extremely left leaning. She’s got typical “privileged white presenting” takes. Anybody who has different political views shes speaks of like they’re subhuman.

She has said many problematic things and although she likes to think she is “woke” she is a misogynist and kind of racist. One time she talked about how she looks white but of course “lucky her” the one Mexican thing she has is her frizzy hair. How dare you! I’m not Mexican but I am a brown Hispanic woman who loves what she looks like and people like you are the problem. You wish you had more Latin in you!! But I guess if what you love about yourself is how basic you look, good for you. You’re not my people and you’re also a user. Keep using Pia and not tagging her! Great friend you are!

Her takes are seemingly to seem politically correct, and a bit angry . She is also quite judgemental even when saying characters on certain shows are(?) also not sure what happened to sometimes co host Pia. Clearly a falling out happened, don’t blame Pia

I really like this podcaster. She’s smart and witty.

Unfollowed her on instagram and podcast. She is a white girl who speaks with a blaccent but acts like she is for the people. Her instagram takes are wild. Especially after an assassination attempt of a former president. It shouldn’t matter what side you are on, to be anti guns but not anti an assassination attempt is absolutely wild. Emily needs to do a little soul searching cause this ain’t it.

Really look forward to listening and always put at the top of my queue!

Emily is my go to for pop culture and reality tv commentary. Her laugh makes me laugh and when her Kendrick get together I feel as is I'm chatting with old friends. Her Vanderpump and Traitors coverage is gold!

This is a fun, gossipy little podcast

I was worried summer would be a Bravo drought without my She’s Speaking podcast fix, but then Emily came through like the reality TV podcast goddess she is and graced us with the best Love Island recaps out there. Apparently, our collective pleas about Love Island were heard, and let me tell you, these are the episode summaries our sun-soaked brains crave! Emily's take on the whole thing is hilarious, and it's the perfect escape when I'm feeling down. Big thanks from your biggest fan in Vermont (who also occasionally catches the live streams)! Keep up the fantastic work!

I’ll say- even though I don’t always agree with Emily- I really enjoy the podcast! It’s been interesting to see a different point of view (even though we also have a lot of similar views) it feels like chatting with a friend and it’s fun to listen to a podcast about current events and my favorite shows without it being too loud and cheesy. I have tried giving other podcasts a try that talk about current events and Bravo and they come off super loud obnoxious and cheesy so I actually really enjoy the way she recaps episodes and talks about the news. I’ve been following since Scandoval because I needed someone to talk to about the events taking place so I am happy I found it here!

Emily is one of my favorite podcasters. I came across this podcast a few months ago. Loving it!

Love listening to Emily’s podcasts, even on shows I don’t watch. She is super funny and her reality tv takes are always spot on! Added bonus when we get Ken in an episode.

I found Emily on YouTube and now listen again on podcast. She’s hilarious, she and Kendrick are a scream and her cats are adorable. If you’re not listening you’re missing out!

This is easily one of my favorite podcasts for Bravo commentary and pop culture takes. Emily is smart, funny, insightful, social justice and trauma-informed, and a natural on-air personality. I have misophonia and am very picky about voices and audio, and hers is never ever an issue. She’s just a joy to listen to, on her own pod or as a guest on others. Highly recommend.

***editing post as of 6/2024….i pay for a Patreon to hear bravo recaps and apparently now it’s a podcast that recaps the mother daughter experiment….? With no warning about the change to her paying subscribers. Pia was the BEST cohost and she’s gone with no word about why and what happened, just that she made the best decision for the pod. Emily also took away episodes for the lower tier that we were previously getting with no notice. Quality and quantity is going downhill at a rapid pace! Wow. I truly love this podcast. Top tier guest (specifically queen PIA and Kendrick). they truly give the most detailed analysis of bravo episodes with the best humor around. LOVE the true crime episodes also. 5 star!! **Edited December 2023. Still love the pod but wish the episodes were longer (especially for us Patreon members who pay). Housewives recaps used to be an hour and now they’re around 30-40 min. Hoping we get longer episodes in 2024 <3
