YourCTOMust-Listen for Startup StorytellersLove the podcast overall and especially enjoyed the deep dive into the attention economy with Ben Parr—this one hit home. As someone who’s led product and engineering teams in fast-paced startups, I’ve seen firsthand how attention can make or break momentum. The way Ben breaks down the seven triggers of attention was super insightful—and immediately got me thinking about how I frame product pitches, hiring outreach, even internal comms. Yaniv and Chris kept it real and practical, which I always appreciate. Definitely one of those episodes you’ll want to take notes on (and maybe replay). Big fan of how TSP keeps bringing in guests who challenge how we think about growth and traction.

SugakuIt’s the truthIn my role as a repeat startup founder I have read a lot of advice, along with working with mentors and an executive coach. This podcast very clearly and directly shares unique insights, some of which (such as the cofounder dynamics episode) I know would have helped me a lot to know earlier. I am looking forward to applying some of the other lessons in my new venture, and eagerly awaiting the new episodes.

gishcoreResearching for helpAfter 12 years in development I am about to launch a product. I’ve written and obtained patents; I’ve done product testing; and I’m very confident that what I have will do very well. I’m at a new stage, The Launch, and I knew I needed some advice. So, I’ve been researching the internet for several weeks. I’ve watched many people giving advice which I’ve found most of it highly valuable. Then I watched these two guys about for about 5 minutes! It took me that long to subscribe and I don’t subscribe to anyone. I don’t know much more about them than that and I can already tell that what I heard in those five minutes that these guys really know what they are talking about. I’m sure they will be most helpful!

GeneCroAn Insightful and Refreshing Perspective within and around the Startup WorldIntroduced to this Podcast through another great one hosted by Matt Watson with the “Startup Hustle”. Yaniv had an interview back in April 2024 which led me to listen to “The Startup Podcast” and hear what he and Chris have had to share. After listening to the entire library, I have throughly enjoyed the ride so far. Even though they have had well established positions within Silicon Valley, their down to earth insights and well experienced guests have made this podcast a valuable asset for any listener with a drive to develop their ideas and make a dent in this world. Holding my end of the pact, I have nothing but positive reviews for this team. Thanks guys!

radeljrMy Go-To Listen for Business InsightsI recently started working at a startup in the Silicon Valley. Things move so fast, but thankfully people really love sharing how they have succeeded and failed. TSP does an amazing job of sharing these exact stories. Not only do they consistently attract **insane** guests, Chris and Yaniv digest their experiences with insight and compassion. I have listened to multiple of these podcasts on REPEAT, to the point my gf tells me to get AirPods on. Favorite is Scaling Sales with Rippling. Highly recommend.

HonkytonkRobotExpanded my horizonJust finished a marathon listen of ‘The Startup Podcast’ and upholding my end of the pact. I’ve often felt like a startup outsider as a small business owner. This podcast has helped me understand how to attack my startup idea, and given me the confidence to go all in on something much bigger in scale than my previous business.

muthalickaAmazing InformationThis podcast is phenomenal. Chris and Yaniv are able to articulate convoluted ideas and shades of gray with grace. They simplify hard ideas into good insights. It is the first business podcast where I feel like I learn something every episode. They maintain healthy and respectful debates, are willing to agree to disagree, and both have compelling arguments when debates occur. It’s great! Seriously- give this podcast a listen. You will love it.

ca70ctAn incredible resourceDirect, insightful, hard-hitting advice from true experts in the disruptive silicon-valley-style startup game. Chalk full of excellent guidance and perspective on a broad variety of topics relevant to start-ups, scaling, building great products, managing challenges, and so much more. And the frequent friendly banter on topics between Chris and Yaniv is a refreshing element too! Definitely and “don’t wanna miss” resource if you have anything to do with ventures and hyper growth.

leiwongleiA lot of actionable adviceI’ve been listening to this podcast since it was launched and it has been a great help to my startup journey. The episode on 5 rules for founders to keep their cool is one of my favorite episodes! I listened to it twice to make sure I caught everything. It helped me understand how I can detach my identity from my startup and take the challenges I face every day as learning experiences. Thank you for sharing your learnings as a founder!

aakaggCan’t Stop Listening!I came across this podcast a month ago and I simply cannot stop listening! Each episode is packed with so much information and it’s so easy to follow. Absolutely love Chris and Yaniv’s conversational style which makes the podcast so much more fun! My favorite so far has been their take on Twitter’s rebranding strategy. Going back to walking down the street with The Startup Podcast, a big grin on my face, and invisible AirPods.
