Rowanba1Read the book!I ran into this podcast by accident on Amazon music. First Donny Wahlberg narration is so monotonous & boring it drags on. Then Karla Homolka is so unjustly portrayed as an innocent victim of Paul’s. She was a victim of his but far from innocent. And barely anything is said about the young victims or about Tammy Homolka. Very bad podcast don’t waste your time and read a book about it better!

marycc109109MoreThis is a really good podcast. Donnie does a fantastic job covering these cases. I just wish there were more episodes.
-
dasilva1582Great PodcastReally enjoyed this podcast. First and second seasons were great. Can’t wait for the third season!
-
Hehehe6969ramanratsTHE BEST PODCAST EVER!!!so good i listen every day good background music but not to loud and the host is great
-
KJ from KYThe stories you think you know are here! This is an excellent podcast. I’m ready for season 3. The interviews and narrative are edited together to tell an excellent story and to bring that story to life. One of the best hosts I’ve listened to.
-
blairbear876It’s fine but nothing specialYou could get the same information from any other decent podcast that has covered the case. Nothing new was discovered or discussed and it had a lot more ads. Overall, don’t waste your time.
-
GemmasstiletosGood but the music is annoyingNote to Podcasters: ditch the cheesy music.

TGC91810Very bizarreThis has a very bizarre feeling to it. It’s sympathetic to Karla in a way that is off putting. Honestly, I’d be embarrassed to have my name is associated with it. IMO, if you want a factual based podcast to hear about this story, I would highly suggest LPOTL’s coverage. They seem to have a well rounded account of the background, crimes, and investigation. This is a strange puff piece that almost feels like the police paid for it to cover up their guilt over ineptitude.

reabcfthbxgngreat voicereally great job narrating it makes all the difference, thank you just a thought it might make things a little more successful. If you talked about when the episodes come out try to make it easy on us, have it right up front. also, if you could tell us how many episodes there are that would be very efficient
-
OofiOofsterVery low quality podcastPoorly executed. Underwhelmingly told story with such limited vocab & mediocre articulation that it's kind of embarrassing. If you are going to regurgitate old stories please do it with some respect for those involved. If you are going to listen to crime podcasts try the ones told by actual journalists who can impeccably & respectfully recreate other peoples personal stories (& have more than 5th grade diction.)
-
michstootsWell DoneSeason 1 & 2 are produced with the Same consistency both stories are documented so well. I look forward to the next Season!
-
J. ParceI gave it a shotI feel like the story was interesting, that’s why I listened, but shows with this kind of sensational writing, editing, and format make me feel sad after listening to them. I feel talked down to, treated as unintelligent, and like my emotions are being played on.
-
Boston.MimiGreat! The best true crime podcast out there. The pace, voice, and storytelling are perfect. More please!

gradyfamilyCanada is TOO SOFT on criminalsSome people deserve the death penalty!! How did they not drug test the sister or look for sexual assault !!
-
Gobroncos 222Horrifying!OMG…these 2 should have been shot on the spot. Once their horrifying video of Tammie etc., was discovered, game over for Paul FIRST! ! Then, Karla. Some ppl don’t deserve to live Karla and Paul are among them
-
freddi91Way too sympathetic to KarlaEnjoyed season one, and season two is well done (though not as in depth
-
Kris HagnerNo, Karla is not a victim.Spoiler Alert: They told the story in chronological order, and at one time police believed that she was a victim, but it’s made clear by the end of episode 6 that she is definitely not a victim.
-
truecaddict1980Karla’s not a victimShe knew what she was doing !! Yes he was manipulating her to a point I get that , no excuse tho ! They took away those poor girls from their families .
-
JoeeCalWay to shortThe podcast has so much filler with ads and recap that the episodes are like 15 mins long. Like how lazy can the production team be when writing the podcast. It’s crazy to me they think this is good podcasting. 1 episode a week and it’s 20 mins long. Low effort and the podcast has so much potential of being very good!! Please stop doing this low effort creation.
-
listen 2 understandRevisionist HistoryI’m struggling with the light cast on Karla … seems they’re rewriting her willing participation in the crimes.
-
NikpodsGreat podcast but hate the sympathetic tone for KarlaI have listened to other podcasts and read books on this case and none have come off as sympathetic to Karla the way this podcast is. I don’t get it, its weird, she is not the victim here. She’s a murderer, who got off basically scot-free, and then went on to have children like she didn’t help murder and torture three people… I like the podcast, I just don’t agree with this depiction of of that evil B Karla.
-
a14trRacist implicationsEveryone who was interviewed makes the same point over and over again about how Paul just didn’t look like a monster, he looked like a regular guy, and so non-threatening because he was blonde with blue eyes. So what does a monster look like? Dark features? Idk. Put a poor taste in my mouth and kinda ruined the podcast for me.
-
HotSauce75So good.Donnie Wahlberg could read my grocery list and make it sound riveting. The man is made for narrating podcasts. He’s up there with the likes of Keith Morrison. The podcast is also excellent. Please keep making them!
-
Podcast DropToo ShortThe podcast is way to short! Addto that they throw in ads and you have 19mins of info. Ridiculous!!!
-
BlueBottleGirlI love this series, but…….Karla deserves zero recognition as being a victim when she willingly signed up to rape and kill her sister. And that was early on. I just can’t believe this podcast would fall into her self preservation manipulation and go on and on about her being a victim. More like, karma.
-
Mia.11Voyeurism is not coolThe very first episode is about the Amityville Horror house, and while the story is captivating, you really should not encourage your listeners to "go by the house and check it out" because there are people who live there and they have gone to extreme lengths to keep curious voyeurs away. Respect people's privacy.
-
mishbah123Research???Great podcast in season 1 but as of season 2 episode 4, I’m not sure your team did any research or fact checking. Karla Homolka wasn’t an innocent victim, as she is HIGHLY portrayed. Plus, what a terrible job of brushing over Tammy Homolka’s death. Her little sister and the the first victim of these two psychopaths.
-
smurfyPoor EditingWould be a great podcast if they weren’t so short. Why the creators think we need a recap to the last episode that was 15 minutes- I don’t know. Becomes repetitive and superficial story telling.
-
JandJandMExcellent seriesDonnie Wahlberg is an AWESOME narrator and the content is delivered thoughtfully, respectfully, and seems very well researched.
-
SkoorbyadToo shortI'm really enjoying the “very scary people” Podcast. It's well done! But I find the episodes are too short! Please make them Longer. Thanks!
-
Hagen729Very well doneThe content is delivered in a cohesive, digestible format. Donnie Walberg is outstanding doing the narration.
-
czchickToo shortToo short. And too many commercials given how short it is. Captures you just enough but honestly it’s annoying how short it is that I rather just wait to binge it or listen to other shows that have already done this case.
-
Fur momma 2Best pod cast.Such a great pod cast. Love Donny. I am sad when I am done listening because I don’t want to have to wait for a new pod cast to come out.
-
cmdmcd this be more boring?i do not think so…but…maybe…
-
kingsmommaLove Love LoveI have followed and then unfollowed many show due to the host. I love Donnie hosting. There is something about his voice what fits quite well with the narration of the show!!!
-
_sandra_g_Enjoying the second season, but……I question the thoroughness of the research if they write in the script that Niagara Falls empties into the Atlantic Ocean. (The Niagara River flows from Lake Erie into Lake Ontario.)
-
WahlnopeMediocre as a WahlbergAs forgettable as the narrator’s music career, if he didn’t remind of you of it every episode.
-
