DeeghoulieRough if you recently binged Teachers PetI loved Teachers Pet and really didn’t mind the repetition that others noted in that podcast but I am struggling with how much THIS podcast borrows and repeats information from the original. Granted, I know the original aired in 2018 so I can understand the need to remind listeners of the details. However, for those who just finished the Teachers Pet, prepare to do a lot of skipping ahead. I was hoping this would cover the details of trial versus recounting how the original podcast was made.

OutsidepieceThe best out there.Been listening since the beginning and now the verdict. Riveting. Excellence.

FNOMINLBig ups for shining the bright light!Lyn thanks you a million times over! I’m certain of it! This podcast was a string contributing factor to shining light on too much important information and interviews that were at risk of growing dim! My nay issue was both series was the repetitive and oft unnecessary examination of some miscellaneous detail being milked for content! Overall, good job!

MaverickAbundanceWOW!I’m on episode 1, I can’t believe the argument from defense appeal! I listened to the Teachers Pet Podcast. It was done with journalistic integrity.

NeebonatorDecent podcast, with issuesVery repetitive, if there is no new information to dissect (such as when waiting for the verdict), don’t make new episodes. Very self congratulatory of Hedley Thomas, you’re a good podcaster, but you didn’t solve the crime. And now that the trial is over, you just can’t let go. How many episodes are you going to release going over the same thing, with one episode seriously dissecting every single word the judge wrote? *Sigh* Unsubscribe. The Teacher’s Pet was better, but even that was repetitive.

DibToo much repetitionI would’ve appreciated fewer episodes with each one having all new court content rather than the “fillers” of the exact same material we’ve heard over and over. How many times did we have to listen to the same recounting of an event, with no new analysis or information to add?

@debrn60Great workCongratulations on 2 great podcasts and justice for Lyn and her family

Kyoostar1Frustrating technical problemsThe content of the podcast is excellent. I had listened to Teacher’s Pet, and am very interested. However, technically, in the middle of a sentence practically every other sentence it cuts off for a few seconds then either continues or I have to hit reverse button and then play again. I was hoping it was a fluke with just one episode but I’m #4 now and it’s been the same all the way thru. I know it’s not my device because all my other podcasts are fine. It’s a very professionally done podcast so this is surprising. The 5 stars are for content.

SeamussfGreat analysis and gives a voice to LynneExcellent commentary - empathetic and fair. Also gives a voice back to Lynne and her family. The balance of court coverage and background by Hedley Thomas is fantastic. I hope she gets justice.

PodcastTruthsListening with bated breathAs a non-Aussie listener, I appreciate all of The Australian podcasts and the way they give victims a voice, present the information with empathy and without bias. Poor Lynne and her daughters! And JC! I hope this case reaches the right conclusion, including Lynne’s resting place so her poor family can finally know. I am very interested to see what happens next.
