I am Irene in my marriage. I have now been sober for nearly 3 years but I still struggle. I heard the Rollins speak at our church’s marriage conference at Grace Family Church. It was our first time ever attending anything marriage related and God had me go. It was clearly His purpose for me to hear Irene because I am struggling with being “sober, now what?” I am so grateful for this podcast. My husband and I are listening to it and filling in YouTube now. Irene, thank you. Words cannot express. Thank you for saying everything I could not say. Thank you for teaching me how to say these things. Thank you for setting the example for me. Thank you. Thank you for being the first married couple I can look up to. Thank you. Words cannot express. I am in a new relationship and still very recently divorced and I have recognized how much trauma that I was holding onto from my previous relationship. I met my dream partner and I was self sabotaging to protect myself because I was so scared of being hurt. I knew that I needed help and guidance but I was really scared to go to therapy because I was worried people would judge me. After listening to this entire podcast, I learned so many things about myself and how my partner and I can handle things moving forward and it has helped us both with healing, better communication, and much more deliberate and intentional guided conversation. This podcast is so necessary for couples and I would recommend it 20/10! Thank you for this amazing ministry!
