    Hard to lift weights to
I had to pause this podcast because I was laughing too hard and almost dropped the dumbbells on myself. PS I was gonna give this show one star because I’m upset Niki wished death to Pipo in the game Overblood. Please apologize. PPS Also this was really hard to find to review (can’t do it from PC browser) but I persevered. Please clap.

    I can’t believe I still haven’t crashed my car!
Every time Niki and LB say ‘pills’ I just hear ‘pills’ but every single time John says ‘pills’ I hear ‘pils’ like short for Pilsner. Does this make sense?

Closed Eyes, Full Hearts, Can’t Lose.
This is my favorite podcast and I chose to leave a review to prove it. Leaving this review was no easy task. I have a Samsung phone, so in order to leave an Apple Podcasts review, I had to dig out an old iPad and charge this thing just so I could type these words out. If that’s not dedication, I don’t know what is. So listen to this show, because the hosts are hilarious and insightful. And they might be the funniest people alive.

Very funny show that explores the sometimes amusing and often concerning highways and byways of the World Wide Web. This show has fundamentally changed my vocabulary in ways that make my close acquaintances concerned. Highly reccomend!

    We couldn’t have done it
I was listening to this podcast when someone shot at Trump. It’s very funny. It’s like hanging out with my friends, but none of them know me or talk to me. Five stars. This review is also a legally binding alibi for me and all the show’s hosts. How could we have done it? We were busy with podcast. Thank you.

Invigorating intellectual candy without the pretense
I saw a few clips of these guys on tiktok and was interested in what they had to offer my morning commute. The clip that I saw ON tiktok finally came up in the backlog of previous podcasts and I will say for just coming for a few laughs on my morning commute, I got a platonic debate on the base definition of terms on a level not seen since the ancient Greek philosophers, only to have it abruptly end in a corn s*x toy review reading. Absolutely love it, best podcast out there in what it does.

    Are you wizards?
Best jpegs. Moaning in agony as my abdominal muscles disintegrate from laughing so hard. Video version make me laugh cry. Scam text theater is modern art.

    An interesting contradiction
I have been listening to this podcast since the beginning and even before when they did the show under a different name. They are funny most of the time, though sometimes they do have bits that don’t land (The Darth Maul kidnapping thing: it stanks, boys. It stanks). There is an interesting contradiction about my enjoyment of this podcast as the crew here hate Family Guy to the point that even reading a simple episode description brings revulsion and I am something of a Family Guy scholar having written multiple essays about it and one day hoped to write a book about the show’s cultural significance as well as its development before I found out that I would not be possible. While the quality of Family Guy is obviously subjective I think a lot of how you react to the show is directly connected to your feelings about your family. While there’s been no comprehensive research on this, I find that people who have good to decent family relationships tend to dislike or hate the show, and those with poor family relations tend to like the show. Intentionally or otherwise it taps into something that I don’t think we really have ever seen before on mainstream American television: the hatred of family. This somewhat powerless feeling some have that they are attached to people they despise. Unlike most mainstream media, which portrays family as a link you must have, even if they frustrate you at times family ultimately is a net good in your life. In an extensive essay I did that made the unlikely comparison of Family Guy to the acclaimed film, Hereditary, I argued that both works of art portray connection to family as a curse, something that no matter what will some day come to haunt you even if you think you’ve escaped it. Hereditary is more symbolic whereas Family Guy is more literal in that the titular family truly hate each other and the show has consistently shown that family is, at best, a chain around your neck and, at worst, something that will actively harm you. Even when trying to do some kind of usual sitcom resolution where the family comes together at the end, it is almost always undercut by a joke, is portrayed as an absurd situation or is just cut off entirely by some nonsensical happening that totally distracts from any positivity you can get from the scene. I think what has kept the series relevant and continuing is Millennials and younger have a sense that they are sinking as the state of the world decays. Many of them that are still dependent on their family so they must sink with people they dislike if not outright hate, making what little time is left in this doomed society nothing more than a party you don’t want to be at. There is no exit and all you can do is try and find the humor in it all before the axe falls one way or another. American Dad is actually pretty good still, though. Even if you don’t like Family Guy it’s worth giving a shot.

I work 10 hours shifts at the bezos factory where I listen to podcasts, get high, and steal fancy chocolate and cheese. Listening to this podcast is the highlight of my work week. No other makes me laugh like this one. I literally have to pause several times cause I look like a freak laughing by myself.

    They’re cool, I guess
The lo-fi chill beats of comedy podcasts. The world is careening faster into the abyss but John, Nikki and LB will be there to make sure the glide is sweet and filled with ruckus laughter and nightmare .jpgs. 6/5 they reminded me I need to floss more. That wasn’t even a bit. I was laughing and having such a great time I remembered I needed to practice more self care. You do the same and listen.

    Such Great JPEGs
I never listened to the previous show these hosts did together and I don’t know anything about them, but I could listen to them describe images for hours, and will. I refuse to learn any more background information; let my love for this show be as innocent as my other parasocial relationships surely are not.

    Hosts are extremely funny!!!

Chaotic in the classical sense (non-derogatory)
The one true podcast where you really cannot predict where things will go next. Above all else, this is a pure, unfiltered glimpse into the modern American psyche and all its digressions. Now get on the seven person tricycle, I've saved you a seat.

    They’re back, baby
My favorite show were the hosts describe images to us, for imagination purposes. Sometimes they delve into history, queer history, etc. Really love to hear it. Glad they’re back. Take me to the cheesecake palace in your mind palace please.

I get genuinely excited to hear what’s going to happen every week when these friends get together. Experiencing this deranged yet extremely real version of the world makes me feel like the existence of the Internet was Worth It (tm)

An oasis in a desert of misery
In the beginning, there was a website. A gaming website. And they had a whole bunch of incredible podcasts. And it was good. However, the gaming website was owned by a certain infamous company, we’ll call them Dime. Lo, and Dime struck down those podcasts, and burned down that gaming website, laying waste to the staff. And it was bad. But, in our darkest hour, If You’re Driving Close Your Eyes rose from the ashes not unlike a phoenix restoring light to a dark and meaningless existence. And it was good again. Tl;dr if you like to laugh, listen to If You’re Driving, Close Your Eyes
