An Antidote to "Aren't we all a little autistic?"
Every autistic person knows the pain of disclosing their autism to someone only to have them reply with "aren't we all a little autistic?" Living in the world can be so invalidating as a neurodivergent person and this podcast does such a excellent job telling the stories of autistic people, and thereby validating the vast array of similarities and differences among autistic people. I'm a late discovered autistic woman myself and I burned through these episodes fast. They did so much to educate and comfort me. For the first time in my life I feel truly seen, heard, valued, and understood within a community. For the first I HAVE a community. Thank you thank you thank you. There is so much hope within these episodes. Catherine Asta and Caty Ava make a beautiful podcast. PS I also really love the music by Allora. Gorgeous vocals and intriguing lyrics!
