    Refreshing perspective
I have listened to 3 episodes so far and found them all interesting and informative. I’m a bookkeeper with a lot of mixed feelings about money. Thanks!

    New listener
I’ve been enjoying the pods for the last month or so. As an emerging “formal” business owner, I lack community almost as much as I lack information. This show, Paco + all the guests so far, have been helpful in seeing some new angles and feeling less lonely / existentially burdened. Thank you for this service! X o Yosef

    Clean podcast?
The Interview with Khe Hye had so much cussing I couldn’t listen to it in front of children. The profanity is not edited out. How is this podcast rated as clean?

    Feeling less alone and anxious
I’m really enjoying this show! My girlfriend was stressing me out with her anxieties about finance and I not only stumbled across an episode that helped me have more compassion for her financial attitude, but also found a great new podcast to binge! It’s been great to listen to people talk so freely about their financial situations and not feel so alone and bizarre about money topics that have often felt unaccessible and awkward. Thanks!

    Fun, informative and interesting
I look forward to listening every week, and always learn something new and useful about money or life. The guests are fascinating people, the audio is high quality, and Paco is a good interviewer. I like the recurring segments at the end of each episode. The theme song is good and gets stuck in my head, which I don’t mind. Basically, I like everything about this podcast. Thank you, Paco and team.

A wonderful way to look at money in all its complexity
Paco deLeon has a wonderfully unique perspective that they bring to the financial space that is such a breath of fresh air. The advice given in this podcast will help you rethink the ways in which money can both help and hurt us without our even realizing it. Their advice recognizes that we are living in an unfair, cruel system and will help you find a way to build wealth while still honoring your values like showing kindness to others. I have learned so much and am pressing my local library to get a copy of Finance for the People so I can read it. I am a disabled person who lives on a small fixed income and don’t actually have the freedom to build wealth without losing my access to health insurance, but I am making sure that I share the knowledge and advice I learn with my able bodied friends who can. Thank you Paco for working to change the conversation around money and wealth. Your voice is a powerful one and very needed in these tumultuous times. Just because we live in a rotten system doesn’t mean we don’t need to figure out how to thrive within that system, and that is what you are working to accomplish. You absolutely rock! (And so does your theme song.)

    Excellent
Paco and this pod have helped me learn and be interested in a subject that always felt like it was for other people but not for me. I love the different guests and perspectives this pod brings while always teaching me new info I can use in my own life and financial planning. You rule, Paco!

    I like it
Fun perspective. Valuable insights. Worth a listen if you’re into economics, money, personal finance, or millennial perspectives.

    So helpful
This podcast is one of my super top favorites about money, and in general. I’m just a normal person (who is, of course, weird about money) looking for guidance in this wild $$ world, and Paco has been an incredible guide through the book Weird Finance and this podcast. Always looking forward to the next episode.

    I tried
She just doesn’t seem like an expert, constantly pushing communism, and isn’t providing anything practical. And on Stuff they don’t want you to know she provided absolutely nothing of value.

    White hate
If you’re here to get financial help and happen to be white. Run far and fast! Not the podcast for all!

The ad at the 25th min of trauma episode…
I couldn’t recover from it. That and when host suggested that the guest “double click on that” Not terrible just not my cup of tea

Look forward to it every week
Paco is the best at making the conversation around finance insightful, entertaining (and funny!) while also feeling thoughtful and empathetic, with golden nuggets of practical application. You can feel her genuine curiosity about each guest and there is an ease to the conversation which makes it super enjoyable to listen to. I look forward to hearing the finance PSAs every week (“and knowing is half the battle!”) and I loved the $$ affirmations in the last episode 🥺🙏 Finally, someone in the money space who speaks my language!
  • Forrestriver
    Finance Favorite.
Discovered the podcast after reading the book which really changed everything for me! I try my best to listen to finance experts where I can but nothing is ever relatable and Paco is really the only human who speaks my language when it comes to money- she distills the important take always, she keeps it real and keeps it simple.

    A Needed Voice
This is the fiancé voice I needed to understand what I don’t know, what I need to know and why it’s okay and not weird that I didn’t know what so many people seem to know. Paco is visionary and fun and smart.
  • redballoonbk
A fresh voice for creative people ready to get more serious about money
I keep pointing friends and clients towards Paco’s work because I am often surprised about finance avoidance there is out there. This podcast keeps it real and offers an approachable way into the finance conversation in a thoughtful and entertaining way.

This is the Finance for the People sequel I didn’t know I needed
Paco’s book Finance for the People was so fun and insightful-I actually listened to the book on audible while following along with the book to take in the illustrations. I was bummed to finish, so having this podcast truly feels like the sequel I was hoping for. Paco reinvents finance talk, making it palpable, interesting and inviting and I’m stoked to experience all the ‘weird’ guests Paco interacts with!
  • Podaddict77
Such a refreshing take on a financial podcast
I love how the host makes the talk around money less WEIRD! I have subscribed and will continue to listen!
