Trifecta!! All three resonated with me
I only listen to podcasts that fall into my path. There's too many choices so I listen when I meet someone who has their own or a good friend or someone I admire raves about. I was introduced to Adriana Trigiani at Adelphis writers Read festival last year. I was impressed by her on the panel and she made me laugh!!! I'm not the " humorous type and my son says I'm too serious " When someone makes me laugh , it's memorable. I saw her again this year and loved her conversation with SJP and her mom and their chat about books. Yesterday I went through the episode choices and decided to listen to Peter Frampton, Michael McDonald , SJP. Those were my first three and each one resonated with me in various ways. Adriana asks interesting questions and makes the listener want to sit all day and get through every single podcast she's posted!!! 12 out of 10!! Make time to listen. Peoples stories are inspiring and enlightening.

    Awful interviewer
I only listened to half of the Emily Henry one, but the total lack of professionalism (going on and on about her own deeply disinteresting life, talking over the interviewee, asking uncomfortable questions, losing her way in the super-scripted questions, the wooden delivery…) was a dealbreaker for me. I have no idea why anyone participates - or listens.

    Best Interviews, Conversations
I listen to many podcasts, and sometimes the same author appears on more than one show. In listening to multiple hosts interview the same person, inevitably I learn more about the author, the book and other subjects when listening to Trigiani! As a NY Times best selling author, she digs deep with the authors, their backgrounds, intent in writing, their hearts. Her conversations are rich, meaningful and time well spent!

    The Best of The Best!
Nobody loves and champions authors quite like Adriana! She’s my absolute favorite—crazy well-read, endlessly curious, and full of admiration for both writers and readers. Every episode is a love letter to storytelling, but the one with Dion DiMucci? Pure magic! My dad was Dion’s biggest fan, always playing his music, and even though he passed in 2018, I swear I could feel him right there, soaking in Adri & Dion’s incredible conversation. Such a special moment! xo

    FOMO On Eternal Life
This podcast was so spiritually uplifting. From insight on Mary Magdalene to how we should try to forgive like the father of the prodigal son, and lastly to “have what we have” in gratitude—so powerful and needed. Thank you for a beautiful podcast.

    Kate DiCamillo and Billy Collins
Just want to compliment you on this show. I’ve been listening since the beginning and always learn something new . Your mission to lift the viel on the authors writing is accomplished with me :). I looked up Kate and saw she was from Clermomt, FL and as much as I love my home state am happy that she found her place in MN. I don’t like poetry much, but was inspired by your interview with Billy to look into his poetry. Your ability to relate and bring out these personalities was inspiring. How many times during these interviews you said things and thoughts of yours that the authors were so pleased! I just particularly felt your connection to these people! You are amazing. :) I’ve loved your books since Big Stone Gap forward and own every one. Your gift is from above.

I adore Adri and am entertained by her podcasts!
I have been watching Adriana Trigiani’s Facebook lives for about two years and always walk away laughing, in good spirits, and profoundly touched by the great authors and conversations she hosts. This podcast is so much more of those conversations! As one of my most favorite writers in time, Adriana has a beautiful way of connecting and talking with other writers. Her conversations can’t help but be all about all books! I walk away uplifted and full of faith and with a new to me author’s book or an author’s backlist of books to read. Two of my favorite podcasts were her recent live with Kristen Hannah. I loved that story and cried so much. I read it quickly; 2 nights and an afternoon. I cried at the end of the Q&A with the audience almost as much as I cried through The Women. First there was the woman who came as a Christmas Gift. Then there was the 85 year old woman’s birthday present was to be at the live show and Adri lead everyone in a chorus of Happy Birthday. She is such a natural people person which comes through in all of her books and in her interviews or rather conversations with other authors which I get to sit in on and listen! This podcast is the best project Adri has done yet! Love it and love her!! A Sante! Maureen Van Dusky

Sophie Kinsella and Her Most Personal Book Yet
I ❤️❤️❤️ You are What You Read! I have been a fan of Adrianna Trigiana my whole life! At least since my mom introduced me to Big Stone Gap. I devour your books. This podcast is phenomenal! Although it has increased my TBR immensely! 😉🥰 Sophia is another of my favorite authors! I have devoured her books as well. I was so sad when I saw her post about her life event. I am sooooo glad I listened to this podcast! I LOVE her attitude! I LOVE that she put herself and her family first! I feel positive for Sophia’s future! I can not wait to read this book. I can’t wait to read all her future books! Adriana- keep up the great interviews! I want to be you when I grow up! Thank you for what you do! 💖

    Never Miss It
I tune into the You Are What You Read podcast every week. Adriana’s conversations with the authors we love about the books that connect us all always leave me feeling inspired and enlightened. Her latest chat with the great Sophie Kinsella is one of her best yet, reminding us of the healing power of positivity and humor in even the toughest of circumstances.

    It’s All About the Host
I was initially enticed by the list of authors being but after two episodes, I removed the podcast from my library. The host won’t shut up. Instead of asking pertinent questions, Ms Trigiani relentlessly holds forth on what she thinks about the author’s life and work. Not impressed.

    Every interview is a joy
I just found this podcast and have really enjoyed going back to all past interviews with Adriana .. I love every one and learn so much about each book and Author .. as well as about life and history . There is not one that I passed over .. each has its own story and way of pulling you in.. of course that is because Adriana knows just how to keep you interested! I listen to one ever night before bed.. a great ending to each day!

    David Baldacci
Adriana and Baldacci are good friends. That helps the conversation, but Adriana's ability to bring up interesting things Baldacci cares about makes this a fantastic interview!!

Book time to listen to now!
This is the one podcast in your weekly feed that you'll want to listen to first. It's an uplifting blend of education and entertainment that stimulates your brain in the same way that reading does. Her guests are stars from all areas of the entertainment industry but Adri stars just as bright and her conversational style makes everyone and every topic shine. Plus, you'll be happily surprised at all the varied topics, in addition to books, that pop up during each podcast.

    Adriana bats 1000 once again!
Since Adriana launched her show - I listen to every episode and I end up having a conversation with her and her guest every single time - even though she doesn’t get to hear me! I think about these conversations at length and come away with an appreciation of the author and their work. This usually leads me to put the book discussed (or the author’s back catalog) on hold with my local library. Invariably - that author’s book are all check out or I’m number 24 on the hold list. Of course Adriana is the perfect host - she has a mind like a steel trap and knows so many people in the literary world and the world of movies and humor. A great podcast for people who love to read and love to learn!

Perfect podcast for readers who like the back story on books
Adriana doesn’t just give you the back story on a great assortment of books…she also helps you get to know the authors personally through her podcast. It makes it much more fun to read when you feel like you know the writer.

    One Fabulous Podcast After Another
The Kingsolver ladies collaborating, so lovely. I immediately ordered this book for my 2 grand girlies. They will adore it. My plan is that we read it together 🥰 Thank you, Adriana, for the gift of this podcasts. I’ve learned so much from each of your guests. I will be 70 years old this summer, and learning is even more fun as time marches on. Love you ❤️

Love this podcast! I am an avid reader and I love hearing from some of my favorite authors. Adriana does an awesome job of making you feel like you’re sitting at the table with her and her guest, just having a coffee. I always look forward to Tuesdays for our weekly catchup! Adriana you are so talented and thoughtful and I value your opinion. You have always been a must read author for me and now a must listen podcast.

    Such An Enjoyable Podcast
I love Adriana Trigiani, and her Facebook Live show is not to be missed. I listened to Episode 1 of You Are What You Read with Sarah Jessica Parker and I was blown away. What an interesting interview, and it was personal like no other interview that I have ever listened to before. Adriana is well-suited for the role of podcast interviewer. Her personality, humor, compassion and skill elicited stories from SJP that I am sure she rarely shares. Her mom, a reader and lover of books (she loves Adriana too) impacted her in the very best of ways; SJP still always carries a book with her wherever she goes just like her mother taught her to do as a child. She has a book addiction like so many of us; her photo app is filled with family, friends and book covers. It made me like SJP even more than I already did. I am new to podcasts, but the combination of Adriana Trigiani, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Book of the Month as sponsor made it something not to be missed. Well done! The Kristin Hannah episode is not to be missed! Kristin Hannah gives an informed, thoughtful interview, and her insights about researching and writing The Women provides an even greater understanding of the story and characters’ choices. Adriana is always a great interviewer. She is a strong proponent for women; her knowledge, humor, and compassion always create an intimate atmosphere and a unique interview.

    Fabulous!
I was in the audience for this interview, and found Adrianna to be a gift that day. If I were Kristen Hannah, I’d want her as a partner any day! An insightfully led interview, and one dotted with laughter. I’ll be back to listen to more.

    You Are What You Read
I just love Adriana Trigiani’s podcast because she introduces you to authors you may have not read. You learn their background and why they love to write. And Adriana’s asks the questions to the authors to learn their thoughts on writing, their family relationships and what they love to read. Adriana just knows what it takes to interview a person and keep your interest. So many new books I would love to read but I have enough books to see me through the rest of my life but still keep buying more books. Adriana keep up the good job, love you and your books. Love this podcast!
This podcast is excellent! I am a fan of Adriana Trigiani’ books so when I stumbled upon the podcast I gave it a try. I love the way she interviews…so interesting and real to me! I am not even close to an avid reader like she and her guests, but I am inspired to read and listen to more books:). Thanks for the enjoyable podcast!

I love it! I can’t write out what this podcast has helped me see and feel lately. I lost touch with reading for a long time. This year I re read my Adriana Trigiani books and started following on social media. I can’t keep up with all of socials but I love opening the podcast when I finally get a moment to myself. A breath of fresh air! Thank you!

Living in truth with Mitch Albom
I look forward to the podcast “You Are What You Read “ every week. Another wonderful opportunity to learn about books and authors through the interviews conducted by Adriana. She seems to know just the right questions to ask and always makes the listener feel appreciated for spending this time with her and the authors. Today Mitch Albom seemed like a perfect choice to begin this holiday. Being grateful, holding on to hope , truth and forgiveness are all a part of our lives. Thank you Book of the Month, Adriana, Mitch Albom and all the other authors who have entertained us and enriched our lives through your writings and discussions .

    Keep them coming.
Let me just preface this with I adore Steven Wright. I recall his first appearance on The Tonight Show and he just killed me. Truly a unique comedian, bringing that deadpan humor to life. But I have to say, Adriana Trigiani is hilarious. She almost out comedies her guest in this podcast. Even he seems surprised by her. This is a great, great conversation which had me belly laughing the entire time. I needed this this morning. Laughter in the morning is good medicine. Two highly intelligent, quick witted, sharp minded people with such great humor. Give it a listen, you will not regret it. You are welcome.

Always the Best Part of the Week!
You Are What You Read has rapidly become what Adriana Trigiani’s FB Live show, Adriana Ink, has always been - the best part of the week. Let’s face it, the world is not a happy place right now. Adri and her guests always lift us up. Books lift us up. The deep humanity, inevitable humor, and great life lessons woven throughout this show give us hope and prospect. It’s like a gulp of fresh air or a glug of clear water or a big belly laugh every time. All are essential! Brava, Adriana, and thank you. You keep giving us exactly what we need right now in your inimitable and joyful way.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Adriana, you have been one of my favorite authors since your first book in the Big Stone Gap series. You are such a great host and interviewer. I have enjoyed all of the artists that you have had on the show. I love reading and finding new books and authors to read. And having you post all the book suggestions from your podcast has been so helpful. Keep up the good work. And please come back to East Tennessee soon. We love you here. 💕
