Pretty Lonesome with Madeline Argy

Feeling lonely in your 20’s is to be expected... but, Madeline Argy feels it’s better to be alone, together. From her bed, car or wherever she’s alone that week, Madeline explores the unspoken conversations we all have with ourselves, but are too afraid to speak out loud. She discusses a wide range of topics, including navigating anxiety, imposter syndrome, the intricacies of sexuality and mental health, as well as the complexities of relationships, boundaries, break-ups, and friendships. As someone in her early 20’s, Madeline offers a witty and unpredictable commentary on the highs and lows of everyday life making you feel like you’re on Facetime with your best friend. Pretty Lonesome with Madeline Argy invites you to join her every Monday in embracing the beautifully chaotic adventure of being human.

Like having a friend come to visit
PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS PODCAST! Especially if you’re feeling lost or lonely— I just moved to a new city with no friends and no plan and I swear listening to this pod feels as though Madeline is a good friend who came over to my apartment, threw the blinds and windows open, made tea, and sat on the couch with me to cheer me up and remind me how to look at life in a positive way again. Her rants make me feel so seen and understood, listening to one episode improves my whole day. Ty Mads love you sm

A must listen for young women
Gosh I love this pod. It’s such a bright spot in my life. I can listen to her tell stories and change the subject to start on some new story all day. I love hearing my own unhinged opinions snatched out of my head and spat out by someone I’ve never met. Also - not to be like “it’s more than a podcast!!” because I love her yap sessions - but it’s nice to hear someone whose life is not perfect actually and as intentionally as possible in one’s twenties try to be and make their life better. Even if her lifestyle is not relatable to my own,,, I’m just saying, you should listen. Emotionally, Madeline gets me and she’ll probably get you too!!

    I LOVE THIS PODCAST
Honestly one of my fav podcasts! Madeline is so relatable and funny. I rarely listen to solo podcast but there’s something about Madeline she’s just so radiant she makes me want to listen. Also she makes me feel less alone because we share many of the same struggles in life.

very repetitive content and rants. seems lazy

    2/5
Seems like it’s on a downward slope. The last episode was so repetitive of things you’ve already talked about.

our experiences are too similar, never stop pls
the way we have almost the exact same experiences just in a little bit different font… but the way you explain how you’re feeling and what you did to get out of it actually resonates with me on such a deep level i can’t describe it. like ive never listened to a podcast that hit me like a truck in a way this one did thanks bae

I cannot get enough of this
I am obsessed with this human omg. I didn't know her until I saw her on call her daddy, but I've never related to someone more in my life. Screw everything materialistic online, this is the content in needed in my life. I needed real convo about dreams about retirement in Wisconsin and trucking, toxic friendships and relationships, and bonding with your dog in a car. I am HERE for it. So easy to listen to and felt like a convo with my close friend
