Emily is hilarious. Jordan and Matt are hilarious. 20 episodes in and Emily has a fingering memory for every situation. I’m concerned Matt has watched a lot of movies that frankly are so bad or forgettable that they don’t exist. He quoted Congo, and I’m concerned for his family. Jordan is well Jordan.

This show is such a delight! Emily and Jordan are so fun to listen to. They brighten every Tuesday. I listen even when I haven’t seen the movie and I have decided to watch multiple movies after listening to them talk about them.

Fantastic rapport between the hosts. Makes the morning work commute fly by. I even enjoy listening to the episodes for films I’ve never seen, that’s how engaging their conversations are. Love this pod!

It’s become one of my regular listens and now I regularly find myself narrating various actions with the stinger beat, so thanks to Matt Lieb for ruining my life like that. If only I could also summon godzilla sounds to pepper in.

I came to listen to Free With Ads via JJGo and I’m so glad I did. Love the humor and genuinely fun repor the hosts have with one another while they talk about their experiences watching everything from classic to classical bad films, as well as NSFW stories involving bowling trips. From a critical standpoint, one of the hosts can be fairly obnoxious, as they tend to overpower discussion of a film they don’t like with their initial opinion and opine about it the entire episode. Also, frequent loud laughing directly into the mic is not pleasant to the listeners.

Gotta love the podcast algorithm. Thanks, iTunes. I haven’t seen many of these movies, but I still love these 3 talking about their shared experiences. Maximum Fun!

These three put on a show that has yet to disappoint. This is my new go to. The AVP and Godzilla episodes are absolute bangers.

One of my go-to weekend pods. Smart hosts, great descriptions and the perfect way to “remember” the best parts of fun, dumb & retro movies without having to spend hours sitting through them!

They discuss movies in a genuinely joyful way. They aren’t interested in being mean, cutting them down, or wondering how it got made. They are just here for fun, hilarious, and delightful conversation with friends about totally random movies. Positive, kind, cozy, honest, and incredibly funny. Quickly became a top podcast.

I did really enjoy this podcast at first and I love good mythical morning and I love you guys on that show, but the rated X conversations constantly has gotten very old and you should never bring things that are divisive into the podcast because the mocking of Christianity and politics is distasteful. It’s unfortunate because overall I do enjoy listening to the podcast.

I’m halfway through the Point Break episode and just had to pause to leave a review! This show is hilarious. I love how they break down the plot, dive into the background, and point out all the weird and captivating moments that make these movies true classics. Jordan and Emily have incredible chemistry, and their humor keeps me hooked. I’m all in for the rest of this ride! If you love movies and a good laugh, this is your next binge-worthy podcast.

I’m normally a true crime podcast girly, but Free With Ads has quickly become my new comfort show. As a brash, late-thirties lady named Emilie myself, I have particularly been a big fan of Emily on Mythical for quite some time. I find the rapport among the three hosts absolutely delightful. I’ve been watching GMM for years so when I found out that Jordan, Emily, and Matt have a podcast I had to check it out. I love their chemistry so much that listening to episodes about a movie I’ve never seen is still incredibly fun and engaging.

Came to this podcast from Jordan Jesse Go. Love hearing Jordan, Emily and Matt chop it up about sometimes-good, sometime-bad movies. I’m really picky about who I like listening to, and these three are the most charming and fun

I would have guessed we were maxed out on movie podcasts and I would have been wrong. The format is fun, the vibe is loose and horny, the movies are a mixed bag—I love it. The hosts are fantastic and funny. I love the stings, I love the fingering stories and I love the premise. A+

Been a fan of Emily, Jordan, and Matt from GMM, can’t believe it’s taken me this long to find this podcast! It is instantly perfect! I laugh so hard with every episode. Jordan leading the recap of all the movies is so good, I could listen to him recap everything in my life forever. Such an amazingly funny group of people!

If you enjoy MST3k or RiffTrax then you’ll love this podcast. Three funny people review movies that (as of their recording) are free with ads on YouTube (or other free places) and are hilarious and honest as they do it. I’ve actually had to pause my crafting (like engraving) because I was laughing so hard- and that’s happened multiple times since this podcast started. I only listen to podcasts that leave me feeling better after hearing them and I’m so happy these three decided to come together and create this one. My ONLY complaint: pleeeeease post a list of the movies you’re going to watch at the beginning of each month so is listeners can watch them before they go away. Sometimes I can’t get around to watching the next movie said in the show (because, you know, life) and sometimes within a few days the movie’s already been taken down. I’d love a list of the movies given at the beginning of each month containing the movies that’ll be reviewed those weeks so if I get a free day I can be sure to watch as many as I haven’t already seen!

The amount of times I’ve been listening to this show out in the world and have started uncontrollably snort-laughing is a number I can’t count to. These people are hilarious and I love hearing their takes on these sometimes under appreciated movies.

I’ve been a JJGO fan and a fan of multiple movie podcasts from unspooled to the flop house. It’s honestly really really great to hear Jordan speak about movies I love AND hate. Being introduced to Emily through this podcast has really been fantastic as well! I’m truly obsessed with her overall witticism and sexual comments towards seemingly non sexual scenarios. Matt is as always a welcome third wheel and really adds a fantastic wrinkle of insight to the trio. PLEASE Keep it up I look forward to many years of content ❤️

I’m not sure I’ve seen any of the movies discussed so far, & this is still quickly becoming one of my favorite podcasts! With 20+ weekly podcasts in the mix, it takes a lot for me to go past the first episode of a new podcast, and this one hooked me. Just genuine fun, mixed with awkward raunch, & plenty of talk about good vs bad bedrooms. Love!

I was already a huge fan of Emily, Jordan, and Matt from GMM, so I decided to check this out. I’m not usually a podcast girlie (too ADD) but I’ve listened to all of these episodes and they’re GREAT. So funny and so entertaining! I’m a huge fan of the overlooked or the forgotten movie, but also Emily, Jordan, and Matt have great chemistry and do a great job of making you feel like you’re right there watching the movie even if you’ve never seen it. Highly recommend!!!

This podcast is such a breath of fresh air. Emily and Jordan riff off each other so well and Matt’s recurring stings always crack me up. I like the variety of movies they cover, not just good movies or bad movies (or so bad they’re good movies). Really enjoyable and easy listen that takes itself just the right amount of serious.

I could listen to Jordan and Emily talk about anything, their vibes are that exquisite — Producer Matt’s comedic timing is off the charts as well. Every episode released has slapped: all krunkers, no clunkers. Don’t sleep on this one!
