He provides enough information about the artist, the recording, this history for the fan to appreciate what is being heard, without making the program about him or the history. If you have a question or a point to make about an artist or a recording, I've found Cliff to be responsive and knowledgeable.

I searched a long tme for a music-centric show that also had a good breadth of music, especially music I haven't heard before. The music lineup is superb and the host is great to listen to between sets!

The host, Cliff, puts together a show that has variety, old and new, with some great commentary.

I have been listening to this podcast for over a year and I love it! The host is knowledgeable, there is a great variety of artists from the UK and US, and I like the mix between classic and contemporary artists. This show is especially strong with the rare, obscure recordings. But what I like most is that it is no-nonsense. It is ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC!

Like a radio show but better, Cliff plays a varied and excellent selection of blues from older stuff to brand new stuff and everything in between. Minimal talk to describe the songs and artists and then back to the music. All in all very informative and fun to listen to!!

Cliff plays alot of old songs, but he also plays alot of good rockin songs which is what I like, I'll subscribe and listen until I can't take the old songs anymore.

There is nothing fancy or over the top with this podcast, just great blues. Cliff has great knowledge of the blues and he mixes early blues with more recent stuff very nicely. He doesn't overshadow the music with lengthy patter but rather tells a bit about the music and gets down to business. Thanks Cliff!
