Patrick.lee829Please Keep New FormatLove the new format where a topic is briefly tackled in the beginning of the show. I hope it continues.

Bob GibsonGreat PodcastOne of the best out there! Great info. Educational and entertaining.

HLFoss13Not for meHad to stop listening. Just felt like they were making fun of the people asking questions every time I listened.
-
CoachJEB184% RuleThanks for talking about this especially when the actual promoter of this said that the 4% rule was too conservative and in fact, he reset his to 4.7%.

Donkey kong DetroitNewbieFound your show on apple podcast. Very informative & entertaining. Will be listening regularly.

Anonymous12649461Joe is clearly checked outDecent advice from Al. Joe can’t follow the questions or the numbers or what’s going on at all. If it’s a complex question he let’s Al take over and then has very little to add. He thinks it’s funny. It’s annoying. I can’t listen anymore because of him. Al needs to drop Joe.

Learning tech stuffSage Advise From the “Fun” GuysYes. The subject of finance can be a bit boring. But certainly not with these guys and their very sharp and “keep them on track” lady. Thoroughly enjoy most segments although lately these 6 mil dollar guys are not representative of the general public and hence, a bit depressing. Let’s get back to 1 mil or less. Oh, I drive 5 cars(hubby died and I cannot part with them) my 2006 caddy 218,000 miles, our 2015 Nissan Leaf, currently dead in garage, the 2001 Chevy Silverado farm truck, his 2015 F150 Lariat, his 1990 Mazda Miata. My “dogs” as my hubby called them, are registered quarter horse, registered paint/missouri foxtrotter and a mixed breed. I also have Barney the barncat. Favorite drink is water or whole milk.

Ginger 60+Spitballing expertsI like these guys. Good sense of humor and great spitballing.

Mr. MX-5Best podcastLove the podcast!! My wife referred me to you guys and I can’t get enough. Date night for us now is lighting candles, sipping a Chardonnay or Cabernet Sauvignon, and putting on your podcast 😆 🍷 We take a sip every time someone says Roth conversion or when Joe gets annoyed 😁
-
bendi1994Great podcastI love the banter while spitballing listener questions. Thanks for the information and humor!
-
Niraj345Funny and educationalI came across this podcast recently. It’s a great format where they discuss specific listener questions and “spitball” the situation for the listeners. This format helps illustrate the principles of retirement planning. The humor adds to the fun of listening and all 3 hosts have great chemistry with each other.

Ttt111tttStrangely EntertainingI’ve learned some things and had a few laughs listening to this podcast. The CPA has a solid grasp of tax laws and generally provides sound asset management spitballs. However IMO he is overly conservative. He often fails to adjust future income and benefits for inflation while always remembering to doing so for future expenses and RMDs. His sidekick attempts to provide the comic relief. He’s challenged to read the listeners’ questions and often berates them for either including too much or too little info when presenting their questions. He routinely recommends investing 100 percent in roth over traditional accounts regardless of current and expected future tax rates. He says, “you won’t miss the excess money you pay in taxes.” Not what I am looking for in a financial advisor. :O) If you decide to listen to the podcast I suggest getting additional personal finance information from other sources such as Morningstar, WSJ, etc.
-
Wemby2024Fun but limited valueEntertaining show with some useful input into retirement strategy. Understandably the “spitballs” are limited in the detail and scope they can provide, so suggestions can come across as repetitive after a few episodes. The feedback provided also is overly conservative at times, failing to consider all guaranteed income or diminished spending as you age when setting appropriate target withdrawal rates.
-
KelCzMy favoriteI’ve listened to YMYW every week for 3+ years. It’s my favorite personal finance podcast. One thing I like is that Joe and Al don’t always agree on the best approach. So you often get two perspectives on one topic.
-
GoingToRetireThe best!I have binge listened to every podcast since 2/14/16 over the past year. I know - Joe would say “get a life.” Best financial podcast by far. Practical, informative, and accurate “advice” in a humorous, humble, and easy to listen to format. Especially helpful for those approaching retirement. Hilarious Joe, Big Al, and adorable Andi are the best!
-
RetiredPerPlanGood to listen to for various spitballs for retirement scenariosGood banter between hosts and different scenarios for retirement so makes a very good listen !
-
Nacho wizardLove to listen to this podcastThank you for all your knowledge! Your Q&A format keeps things fresh. You never know what type of question will pop up and where Joe and Big Al are going to take the answer. They are clearly knowledgeable professionals, but also like to have fun and have great yin and yang chemistry. My only qualm is the recent questions all sound the same, “I have blah, blah, blah money, can I retire?” I think if you have millions of dollars, you will be able to retire! I miss older episodes with more diverse and nuanced questions. Thanks to Andi for keeping the production value high, and for keeping things from going off the rails!
-
JG-ORDFun and informativeThis is a very good finance podcast. The hosts have a great rapport with each other and approach the content in a laid back and easily digestible manner. I have learned a lot listening to them and recommend this podcast to anyone interested in investing and retirement planning.
-
christhepacerfanVery well doneJoe and Al do a great job answering questions in a clear and informative manner while keeping the program light with some humor. Keep up the great work! Thanks I lean toward the Mich Ultra LOL
-
Coco the Monkey 2Right?Reasonably good info but they don’t have any confidence in what they are telling you. They constantly say “right?” after they make a statement meaning they don’t have confidence in what they are saying. Strange.
-
meanderingEntertaining, educational, and engagingYour money, your wealth offers great information in a laid back, bar stool conversational atmosphere that keeps me coming back for more. There is a great variety of topics covered and I’ve learned a ton about retirement, investing, and tax planning while being entertained. I particularly enjoy the interactions between Andi, Joe, and Al even when things go off the rails. Like anything in life, it’s more enjoyable when you’re having fun, and I’m glad to see they’re still having fun answering questions after so many years.

Mike the Blue collar workerTotal game changerthis podcast really makes you think very far out Into the future.
-
otisdog5150Right? Right. Right.Info is solid but wow they must never listen the their own show to improve. Constantly say “right” after making a statement. Means they lack confidence in what they are saying and need someone to affirm what they just said. Awful habit.
-
dk_12_24Entertaining and informativeShow is great. Love the format and ideas presented
-
jjljrBest Podcast Combination Of Useful Information And EntertainmentJoe and Al are The Best. the show majors in Common Sense, using just-enough technical knowledge to explain their ideas. they take real-world questions from real-world people. they inform their audience without trying to show-off everything they know. they talk in “plain English” that virtually-anyone will understand. those seeking Hot Stock Tips will be disappointed, but if you’re thinking about how to tiptoe through financial minefields over the long-haul, this is the show you want.
-
Red buildingExcellent, Fun show on personal financeJoe & big Al make personal finance fun with knowledgeable, practical & wise guidance. Steve Jones / Las VegasYour Money Your Wealth PodcastLove listening to Joe and Al for years. YMYW is one of my favorite personal finance shows. They recently added Andi Last to their lineup (great addition). They concentrate on preparing your finances for retirement. There are many questions that you should address as you approach retirement. When to claim Social Security and how to make your money last as long as you live; they address those questions and so many more. Funny, informative, entertaining. The only downside to this show is that (after listening) you will abandon your clueless friends who give you nothing but incorrect advice.
-
BruegrassboyGood financial planning talk showWell informed hosts provide general guidance to emailers and educate you about smart available strategies in the process

Kevin the AccountantGotta Be HonestThis podcast is one of the few that is truly painful to listen through. I’m an accountant - I despise change. In a moment of self-reflection, I told myself that I would rid my life of things that provide no value in my life. This podcast was the first thing that came to mind. Al and his toupee I can stomach - though he needs to accept hair loss as his reality. It is Joe that is truly unbearable. Dude, why are you leaning so hard into your provide picture? Why does it look like you are chewing marbles in your lower lip? In your effort to be the “cool CEO”, you come across as a complete beta tool. Here is a suggestion - don’t cater to social security corpses that can’t identify a browser outside of Netscape. Be a bit more forward thinking. Sorry, I can’t get over how creepy Joe looks peaking over toupee Al in the pod profile pic.

Beeline51Entertaining and informativeJoe, Big Al, and Andy provide a humorous take on investing. Just stumbled on this podcast a couple of weeks ago. Give it a listen and you’ll be hooked.
-
Sweet Magnolia BrownI love this podcastJust found the podcast and am learning something new every new episode. I like the format, as each person has a different financial journey which I find intriguing. The host are informative, knowledgeable, funny and approachable. Like you’re talking to your favorite uncles.
-
Bcf06877Great podcast.. educational and funny! This is one of my favorite podcasts on personal finance and retirement. Joe and big Al are like the Siskel and Ebert (movie critics for those who remember them) of personal finance, often providing different perspectives, and not always agreeing! Shows are funny, informative, and always entertaining. I never miss an episode.
-
RobertB 1860Love the HumorI used to listen to Bob Brinker on Saturday and Sunday’s for years until he retired from radio. I found Joe and Al’s podcast a few years ago and always look forward to their weekly podcast. It’s so educational and humorous! Thanks again, Robert
-
Never Too EarlyNothing better!I laugh and learn while listening to Your Money, Your Wealthy! Deeper than most financial podcasts but Joe and Al always walk through their thoughts so we can follow. Love this!
-
DMTobiskEntertaining Financial Advice? This Is It!Tuesday is the day Your Money Your Wealth downloads to my podcast feed, usually around 10:00 am EST. Why am I fixed on this day and time? Because I really look forward to it—in a way that I can’t say applies to any other podcast (though I listen to lots). Joe, Al, and Andi are a great team, and their willingness to answer complex financial questions from listeners (sometimes long-winded, which Joe might complain about, though he’ll answer anyway) is remarkable. Every episode is filled with information, and there are show notes posted on the show’s website that are extremely helpful to read over if there’s an super-detailed discussion. And all this is actually entertaining, not dry and never boring. If you don’t laugh out loud once or twice per podcast, and smile even more, then you must be having a very bad day. Listen, learn, and laugh!
-
hoicvlfROTHapaloozaFinally I have caught up to the live show after a year of listening. Joe and Al have changed my life; for the better! I find guidance and motivation listening to them and not the bonehead Warren buffets at the water coolers or the bars. Can’t thank them enough for the help they and Mr. Stokes at Pure have provided me and family already.
-
ProJockLooperGreat Info & EntertainingI really like the chemistry between Joe and Big Al. The structure of their show is great. I especially like the spit ball approach. Highly recommended!
-
browniestarmiteDistractingI followed and unfollowed this show twice. I tried to like this podcast, but the flippant language of on the hosts was so distracting to the subject being discussed.
-
BCMusicLoverAwesome, fun and very educationalThis podcast is fun to listen and because it doesn’t get into the weeds is not only a fun but easy way to get educated on a full and wide view of personal finance topics and approaches. While it is not advice, sound approaches, opinions and things to consider are provided, in a fun and easily understandable way, making this a must in my opinion.
