I have listened to this podcast for years & enjoyed it. These guys know football and speak intelligently about it in minute detail. That’s why I liked it so much. But during the commercial break of the recent Mgoblog “Roundtable” on WTKA, they made it clear in no uncertain terms that they hate conservatives (especially anyone who voted for Trump). I’m happy to listen to people who disagree with me politically, but I’ve been blatantly told I’m not welcome here—so I’m out. No more mgoblog for me.

MGoBlog significantly enhances the experience of University of Michigan sports fandom through its editorial content, podcasts, and the community it has built. I feel sorry for other fanbases which do not have a comparable analogue. Brian, Seth, Dave and Alex provide something for the football obsessive with the perspective of a player or coach, something for the U-M alum who got hooked on football as an undergrad, and everyone in between. All of their content represents an extremely high level of polish and attention to detail. Their podcasts are no exception. I am so glad that Michigan athletics has inspired as enriching an outlet as MGoBlog.

Long time listener Love the podcast. Not usually a complainer just my opinion But that pretentious know it all seth dude is he needs to stay behind the scenes almost makes me tune out sometimes. frequently breaks down film plays and player performance totally wrong which is why Brian has to constantly question what he says just cause you know a few buzz words doesn’t mean you know how to watch film. As former player coach it makes my head wanna pop off my shoulders. Under the definition of most hated type of Michigan fan is a picture of him 😭

Have been listening for ages and Brian has really pulled together a great team and a great podcast. Enjoy all of Brian’s, Seth’s, and Alex’s takes, along with all other other contributors. Enjoy the 🔥takes segment as well as the B10 over views that Jamie provides during the season as well. If you’re a Michigan Football fan this is a must-listen podcast. One piece of constructive criticism I have is that the audio quality can vary quite a bit and be marginal sometimes and sometimes the audio seems to skip or be strangely edited but other than that an A+ listen.

Lost me when Craig took over the break

David is the most annoying person i’ve ever listened to on a podcast. Brian and Seth are five stars.

It wil be much better if people don’t talk over others and interrupt others.

It’s quirky but what more can you expect from the Mgoblog crew. I listen only to the football content and, yes, it’s Michigan focused but substantively it’s the best bar none. It’s almost laughable to listen or read the “main” sports sites after you’ve experienced this. The podcast and the site have expanded my understanding (and appreciation) of the game in a way I wouldn’t have thought was possible. Kudos!

I love the site and love the podcast but sometimes it feels like its Brians’ treehouse and nobody can talk but him. Like that kid who would invite you over but get mad if you dared to touch his favorite GI Joe. You know, the one who HAD to be Peter Venkman. He interrupts and gets agitated at Seth for talking and sometimes I’m genuinely interested in what he was about to say! I get it, there’s a time crunch and all that but maybe don’t treat everyone like they are wasting your air time. No other podcast really does that. “Rambling on about whatever” is what podcasts are and honestly, I look forward to Seth Rambling about pulling guards and Duo and defensive fits. All I’m saying is just Share.

Sometimes the audience don’t know as much as you. Let the other guys explain things sometimes. Like when Seth was trying to explain why the ucla series was canceled. You’re definitely my least favorite of the group

Keep up the good work, just please fix the mic sounds that I suspect are from Seth or Brian. It’s so hard to pay attention especially with headphones.

Great content but someone's mic or headset is really distracting. It's the sound of someone futzing with their mic and it's really notable on the "Too Many Tooks," and what I've heard so far of "Concerning Hobbits," podcasts. I have to stop listening every 10 minutes or so because I find I'm only focusing on that noise.

The woke stuff that pops up from time to time make this podcast unbearable at those times.

Seth good when he’s not cackling like a hen. Way too much laughing at things that aren’t at all humorous. Brian needs to drop the word “like” “I’m still like… withholding like… final like. What’s up with that? Grating in the ears. Good content. Too cool to be excited

Best Michigan podcast around

Smart analysis and very entertaining overall

This podcast is the most entertaining and most informative Michigan sports podcast out there. My only criticism is that their show descriptions make absolutely no sense.

I listen to a lot of podcasts. A lot. If your a Michigan fan do yourself a favor and listen to this podcast. One of my all time favorite podcasts of all time that includes any genre. Great work! Ready to go home and relive the 2003 season on YouTube.

Cesspool of negativity and virtue signaling. Effectively a Locked On podcast with the commercial-to-actual discussion ratio, and even then at least the Locked On podcasts are somewhat entertaining between commercial breaks. Maize n Brew, Blue by Ninety, Locked On Wolverines all vastly superior. Avoid if you can.

Love Brian, Ace, and Seth and have been reading them religiously for more than a decade now. The podcast is excellent...but it is impossible to listen to Brian and Ace any time the team loses. They get whiny and insufferable and I end up unsubscribing for three or four weeks each football season.

Now it’s just so mired in negativity and depression I just unsubscribed. Check out Wolverines Wire (locked on Wolverines) for a more balanced take.

Been listening for years, Brian, Ace, Seth and other guests are great at blending nuanced and realistic discussion with hijinks and distractions. The show is like a drug that helps me moderate the myriad of emptions I experience as a Michigan fan.

Ace stole 100k from his fans. Blocks people on twitter who have different opinions than his own. Garage person. Brian is cool though.

I like, try to like these guys but like the are so like annoying it’s like insane like! Some advise, count how many times you say the word “like” in any of your podcasts. Sounds like a bunch of 8th graders.

This is the only Michigan sports podcast that reflects my emotions as I celebrate the wins and mourn the tough losses. Brian and company are witty, sarcastic and fun to listen to. This podcast could use a bit more Craig Ross though!

Ace Podcast is a great addition to the lineup.

The MGoPodcast is the best podcast covering Michigan athletics bar none. Brian and the gang break down Michigan football (and basketball) with a knowledge not heard on other podcasts and they do it while explaining everything in a humorous and entertaining manner. When combined with the content produced on the website (UFR is the best thing ever!!) it’s no wonder MGoBlog is the preeminent source for all things Michigan athletics.

Lucky to have a podcast (and MGoBlog as a whole) that churns out so much Michigan sports content, with quality analysis and unmatched depth. Bonus: all from a local, independent outlet!

I’m 24 and think I’ve been reading their blog since I was 13 and listening to their podcast for about the last 5 years now. My dad and I love to play their recaps / game previews on our way up to Ann Arbor when we head up for games. The podcasts are witty, not overly planned out which allows for great sidebars and humor, and offer great insight into Michigan football, basketball, hockey and other sports when they are doing well. I’ve been the most educated college sports fan in my friend groups for years now and these guys play a large part in that

This podcast for Michigan fans, is the best comprehensive review of all Michigan football games. Position breakdowns and game theory are excellent. It is a must listen for all Michigan football fans.

Really enjoy the new series on past teams. It’s a perfect complement to the depth of analysis on current Michigan athletics.

These guys do the college football pod better than anyone. If you like Michigan or Big Ten football, this one is a must.

Podcast is great, Brian is very knowledgeable and explains complex issues fairly clearly. Lately Ace and Seth have joined him but all that really does is highlight how needed Dave is. Dave keeps the podcasts running smoothly and prevents it from going off the rails. Ace and Seth are both knowledgeable but need Dave to bring them back to earth.
