I've listened for over four years, nearly from the beginning. The character episodes are great, guests are generally interesting, usually full of laughs. All that said the last year has become painful to listen to. Nearly every episode recently has been overtly political, and not in a funny sense. They constantly say they know they have right-leaning listeners and yet every political joke is anti-conservative. I have never heard them roast Hillary, not once. And before I get grief for being a Trump supporter let me tell you I voted against him in the primary and the general. Keep doing what you're doing - it's your podcast after all - but realize there are some listeners who don't want to be ostracized constantly while listening, and some, like me, will finally call it quits. Lastly, today's podcast included the Sklars hoping Trump would be "aced". Gotta love the tolerance of the left! Cannot wait to hear what they have to say about the Michigan sign stealing saga. I’m sure it will be very reasonable and not at all defensive.

I have always loved the Sklars and still do. But geeze, they are the worst interrupters. It is painful to hear guests barely get a word in before the Sklars have to but in with their own take before the guest has finished half a sentence. Someone close to the Sklars should really give them this feedback.

They were funny back in the Cheap Seats days. Now they just regurgitate the same woke leftist talking points as the rest of the mainstream media cathedral. There’s not even an attempt at comedy anymore. Might as well just watch CNN.

This podcast has turned into a U of Michigan podcast. That’s cool if you’re a Michigan fan, but mostly uninteresting to everyone who isn’t. 🤷‍♂️

Always enjoyed these guys. I listened to all their shows. So talented. But the whole ‘woke’ thing. Ugh. I can’t do it anymore. It’s just weird and cringe. I wish I could listen again. Miss these guys. Love them forever despite the heavy woke thing... just can bring my self to listen anymore.

Great combination on Cheap Seats today. I particularly appreciated your choice of Georgie Fame’s 1960’s version of “Yeah, Yeah”. One quibble though- when discussing LaRussa’s drinking, the latest incident occurred during spring training this year, not after the Sox hired him. The Sox say that they were aware of the charges the day before they announced his hiring.

Love the show, especially when you have Johnny Carson on. He’s great too.

So someone says “Lebron, dribble a ball” and you put him on blast. Yet a fight breaks out at a girls high school soccer game and you respond with “and of course nothing happens cause it’s high school girls soccer” we get it. You don’t like women. Oh also you guys are okay with Kobe Bryant raping that women because he came back and did great stuff for the lakers.

I love these guys in a totally (non stalker) manly way! I was first exposed to Sklar podcasts through View from the Cheap Seats. The way they address trending topics, sports, and topical issues with their trademark sarcasm, wit, intelligence, and conviction is brilliant. I can not recommend them enough. Boys, don’t let the far right minions deter you from delivering comedy gold and musical snippets to your many legions of fans. There are a pair of twin comedians I condone Their humor is funny to the bone Stand-up, podcasts, or TV I laugh hilariously, As an unabashed, full blooded Sklone! Scott in LA Ps. Funny libs. But they are obsessed w Kaepernick getting back into NFL. Wish they stuck to sports and comedy than “why isn’t Colin in the NFL?” Kaepernick is Trump’s best buddy. Look at the timeline of late summer/fall ‘16. Kaep starts kneeling, Moderate Republicans that wouldn’t vote do. Dems looking at Kaep to endorse Hill. He doesn’t. He even says he won’t even vote and Hillary is evil. Trump wins w the biggest late momentum ever. Kaep is not lib’s friend ya dummies! Like the show when they stick to sports.

I used to love this show. It’s was like comedy meets sports. Now it’s more like msnbc passes sports on the street and sneers . They spend the first 10 minutes preaching about systemic oppression and cronyism, then try to sell you CBD oil and talk to one of their buddies about Michigan. If you like getting yelled at by a show dropping with hypocrisy, subscribe now.

Sports takes are often wrong or half right. They know a lot about St. Louis sports but not much else despite thinking they do. They often get basic information wrong which ruins the rest of the show. Dumb People Town is a much better podcast from them.

Hilarious

I have listened to others and it is usually just a bunch of arguing and no real rhyme or reason for the argument. The Sklars have a topic and they dive deep in to it. I love the music every episode and the year end episodes were a great way to hear new artists. I cannot forget to mention the voicemails from the many "friends" of the Sklars. Been a fan of theirs for a long time and will always be one, thank Jason and Randy, keep up the great pods coming!!!

Extended improv session between the Brothers and a host of zany realife figures, voiced by unnamed comics / impressionists. The mark Wahlberg impression is remarkable and funny as hell. Other highlights include Christoph waltz, Jerry Jones, a brilliant Nicolas Cage, and, yes, Ozzie Guillen. The session actually gets funnier as it goes. Best moments near the end

Listened to one episode, 4 minutes in I was lectured by two yuppie liberals and introduces to lame hipster music I didn’t want to listen to.

I’ve been following the Sklars for years. Great podcast by great comedians. How about some takes that aren’t straight out of the shouting jock nerds on tv? Maybe uplift us and expand your listener base by talking more about soccer or disc golf. These are hugely popular sports. Why not bring your talent, whit, and comedic perspective to the up and coming?

Sorry guys, normally I totally agree with what you say. However, in this rich eisen episode you went on a rant about esports. There are coaches, leagues and teams where these gamers live together. This was a side tournament. There are literally thousands of these monthly throughout the country where people gather to play. If you did research this community of madden players knew each other. In fact they knew the guy that was responsible for the shooting. This is like playing in bowling league and some guy went nuts and shot people. I hope you understand you are painting with to wide a brush here.

These guys are so funny and they bring sports down to a personal level. It also helps they’re huge Michigan Wolverine fans. I look forward to every new episode and hear what they have to say on top sports topics.

They have made so many factual errors w/o looking back its embarrassing. Funny at times, but if you're a sports fan its probably better to look elsewhere for insights..

I've been a huge fan of Jason and Randy Sklar for most of their stand up years. Since their show on ESPN, to stand up specials, and their history of stellar podcast.

Sports commentary paired with the bros sense of humor makes this a show thats everything I want from a podcast.

Once this became more sports themed, I thought it would be like every other sports podcast...arguing with no end goal. This is not that! Real opinions and not afraid to speak their minds. Great work sklars! @MatthewZirkes

I love my Friday workouts because the Sklar Brothers, A View from the Cheap Seats, podcast drops. Always entertaining, I learn a little, but working out for an hour with a smile on my face is awesome. Thanks.

Ive desperately needed this ever since I had to give up the full series-worth of Cheap Seats recordings I had accumulated on our old DVR. Great stuff every time! Also, I may be mixing my Sklar content, but I especially enjoyed the end of year music and character episodes.

I have been a fan of the Sklars since Cheap Seats and been listening to this show since the Sklarbro Country days for several years now. I have seen their live comedy show and bought several of their albums. With the new show and especially since Trump was elected, the Sklars cannot help their liberal views come through in every show. It got so bad that I had to cancel my subscription today. Sad day in the country. Also, thank God for the fast forward button. Who begins the podcast with three minutes of ads?!? What is this, the Adam Carolla Show?

These guys are hilarious! If you're into cerebral humor this podcast is for you. Sklar brothers are the perfect blend of comedy and sports. Extremely well done!!
