Love these guys. Good funny people with great detail with the FF series and sometimes Zelda :). The special episodes are also great. Love the rants and arguments. Check them out!!

Really enjoy it most of the time however one pet peeve is how often the facts/details are flat out wrong when they try to remember what happened in a game or why it happened. Otherwise it’s great!

Long time listener, love the pod, keeps me entertained on long commutes and travels. Jakes word repetition gets grinding but in all honesty still makes a better FF pod than most out there. Hope you guys keep on doing this. Chrono trigger, ffxii, golden ah , and grandia II would be cool episodes

Man this podcast is so nostalgic for me. I was searching for an FF7 podcast on Stitcher and this came up. The chocobo holding a bottle of Jack obviously piqued my interest! I love how you guys take the audience through each major scene and talk about how ridiculous certain things are. It's genius. Like how Red XIII is dancing in his sailor outfit but nobody says a word. I love those call-outs! So funny thinking about those moments and now seeing them in a new light. I'm only five episodes in but I'm sure I'll be listening to every episode since it's been such a fun nostalgic ride so far. And I'm pumped for FF6 discussion (my personal favorite of the series). Great stuff!!!

I love the show, it's funny, entertaining, and overall a joy to listen to. Also, I'm pretty sure one of the guys is severely autistic so listening to this podcast makes you feel like you're supporting the disabled. I also enjoy the occasional interviews, even though the interviewees rarely show any enthusiasm for the games that are supposedly their favorites. Still, tons of fun. A couple of constructive criticisms that I woud make are: 1. You guys seem to often forget or misremember parts the games you play through (even though you JUST played that part). Perhaps you should make some notes of key facts while you play the games so your presentation appears more fluent and stream-lined. 2. I would love it if the games were discussed a bit more in depth than what is currently being done. For example you could say something about the history of the game, its making, a summary of its critical reviews, its user reviews etc... Perhaps you could interview someone with a background in literature to review the story, characters, etc....

This podcast really makes me want to show my nerdy side a little bit more and kinda encourages my ambitions to possibly invest into a game hardcore. Love, love, LOVE FF8!!!

Great topics and the chemistry between the hosts is hard to find.

Love this show! I enjoy that this is podcast is not weekly, so it won't overload your feed if you listen to a large amount of podcasts. When a show is uploaded the hosts give an in depth review of the games they review, whether it is final fantasy or not. The hosts are laid back and have great senses of humor. Will be sure to continue to listen!

A great podcast that leans toward the casual side of things. Good chemistry, funny, a great way to relive one of the greatest game series of all time. Thanks for the podcast guys!

This is a good podcast about Final Fantasy and shooting the sh**, the Final Fantasy talk has a interesting point of view and the chemistry between the two hosts is pretty goo, they rant and go on tangents on a lot of cool topics, like Batman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Alt Rock.

This is the kind of show for which I have been searching. I'm a retro video games podcast fanatic and love the Final Fantasy series even though I've only played a few. I enjoy the first twenty to thirty minutes where you just talk about what's going on in your lives and I appreciate your knowledge and humor. I like how you really go in depth and talk about a game for six or seven sessions. I can't wait for a Final Fantasy Tactics episode and why the Dark Knight is radical albeit arduous to obtain. Keep it up fellas!

These guys are a great addition to keeping me entertained at work. They put out a quality podcast full of funny banter and opinions.

I have always loved the ff series. Since the first one came out. And these two guys make the game more fun to play with.

This is a great podcast for those of us who are in our late-twenties, early thirties who don't necessarily have time to enjoy video games as much as we used to. Rich and Jake are two podcasters who take time out of their work and family lives to play through old and new Final Fantasy games (as well as other Square games), and put their nostalgia to the test. Their chemistry as friends adds a lot to the show, and their mix of serious critiquing combined with satirizing the ridiculous moments found in JRPGs makes for an ever engaging listen. If you enjoy Final Fantasy, or even video games in general, this is one of the best podcasts out there.

Great podcast for final fantasy. They hate a lot but it's mostly out of love and you can tell they are really big fans

I find this podcast to be hilarious and entertaining. Probably enjoyed best if you've played these games through already, as you're bound to get some spoilers if you're playing them along with the guys for the first time. This is an irreverant and honest look at the Final Fantasy universe, but also with a touch of nostalgia, so even when it sounds like they really hate the game, you're know they're having a good time with them. Covering everything from the effectiveness (or not) of the Toad spell, to Zidane's mystery cuffs, to hating on grinding - it's something every FF fan can relate to.

These two have a great rapport but would be nice to bring in a third person. This is one of the best podcasts out there for talk about final fantasy

It's great but definitely not for people who havent beaten most final fantasies, as there are no spoiler warnings

Just starting listening to the FF7 one as a play it. Great podcast, entertaining and funny. One of you seem to be a quiet, my only request would be to turn that guy up! Keep on keepin on!
