Wish I learned about this podcast as a PY1!
This podcast has been soooo helpful for me as a PY3/4! There are a ton of topics covered in good depth but briefly. Also tons of clinical pearls! Really enjoy listening on my drive to rotations in the morning! Just an update now in 2024- still enjoy and appreciate these shows. I’m not quite as frequent a listener but love to pop in during my workout (my drive to work is now only 5 mins) and get some good refreshers on backbone topics of clinical and non clinical pharmacy.

Applicable clinical pearls in an entertaining podcast!
The perfect podcast on my commute to work. I appreciate the engaging conversations, guest speakers, and applicable clinical pearls. Being on the inpatient clinical side of pharmacy, I’ve been able to refresh on a lot of commonly seen clinical topics by tuning in to these podcasts. So proud of this podcasts growth, and always proud to be a RFU COP alum ♥️

This is a great podcast for reviewing clinical topics I’m rusty on since pharmacy school and it makes new literature so digestible.

    Informative
This is exactly what I have been searching for. I am a retail pharmacist that has been out of school for a few years now and I have been looking for something extra to keep me informed. This podcast is informative and very well explained. I also appreciate the recap at the end. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

    Very well done
This podcast is super informative and professionally produced. It’s like listening to Pulitzer Prize winning journalists discuss current events, but pharmacy related. Always enjoyable and I learn something useful each time!

    Love it!
I started to listen to this podcast since 2013 as a pharmacy student getting ready for the Naplex! I found the contents highlighted and clinal pearls informative and practical. Seven years later I still find this podcast to be awesome as clinal refresher. Thank you keeping us current! 🧡

    This pod is dope
I noticed this podcast awhile back and was disappointed to find it hadn’t been updated in quite awhile. I came back to it a couple of weeks ago and found new episodes! The topics of the talks have aligned almost magically with things I’m interested in!

    Very Informative
As a pharmacy student about to graduate, these episodes are a quick refresher to help prepare for the NAPLEX. I have very much enjoyed listening to several of the episodes, some of which are based on updated guidelines which I have presented in journal clubs during my APPEs. Keep up the good work!

    Amazing Content
As a student going into my P1 year, HelixTalk has really helped me solidify my knowledge on the top 200 drugs. I’ve also learned lots of other info that I use daily as an outpatient pharmacy tech. I would love to hear more antibiotics/ virals. Keep it going!

    Excellent evidence based podcast
This was exactly what I was looking for. Helps me freshen up on important topics on my way to and from work. They really do their homework.

    5 stars!
As a 2nd year pharmacy student I love these podcasts! Great discussions and extremely helpful when I’m just trying to review a certain topic!

    Misinformed
You guys are clueless. There is a surplus of pharmacists. The profession needs leadership. There are too many schools. The surplus allows employers to take advantage of pharmacists. There are no jobs so of course people are doing a residency. Pharmacy school is 4 yrs with plenty of clinical experience. We do not get paid like MD’s so most people don’t want to do years of residency. I can assure you their are many graduates unemployed. Most people agree that the Bureau of Labor puts out garage and doesn’t reflect real stats. It’s clueless people like yourselves that act like everything is ok so we never advance.

    great podcast!
Amazing podcast, which clearly and succinctly complex information and keeps you UpToDate on guidelines. Might I request an episode on hold criteria for common inpatient medications? Pharmacists input would really help clarify some of the concepts.

    Great pharmacy podcast!!!
I listened to this podcast while I was stationed in the Middle East. These pharmacists became my de facto study group while I prepared for the BCPS exam and I passed. They share awesome pharmacy clinical pearls that help me stay up to date. Check it out. They’re awesome!!

    Great pharmacy podcast
I love that this podcast is created and led by pharmacy faculty. As a pharmacist, I love to listen to pharmacy and medical podcasts and webinars to keep current. There aren't many podcasts that are specific to pharmacy, but this one always contains topics relevant to pharmacy and provides reliable, quality information.
  • staeces
Wide-ranging topics, sound quality needs improvement
I gave only 4 stars d/t the consistently poor sound quality, this due, in particular, to not hearing Dr Patel. The two males are heard well enough, and the topics/content are "spot on." Thus, I am disappointed to miss approximately 33% of the roundtable convos. I often give up & stop listening:(
  • ashley0812
    Great stuff!
Really helpful. I wish I had found this during my earlier years in pharm school. The only thing that bothers me a little is the mic quality. It is hard to hear at times, especially if listening to via car speakers.
  • schmmari
    Great information!
Great podcast to listen to as both a pharmacy student and professional. The length is perfect for a short commute. I love the synopsis at the end.
