Is the show professional? No. Are the players professional voice actors? No. Do you get tangents full of jokes, pop culture references, making fun of each other? YES!!! Just like it was when I played in high school. These guys are like old friends to me. Each episode I listen to seems like a Friday night with my old buddies. If you want a fully produced “show”, there are those. If you want to relive past games, or get a feel how D&D is normally, this is your podcast. PS: also for cat anatomy scholars.

Do you love D&D or Call of Cthulhu or other great roll playing games. This one of the most solid podcasts out there. I love listening to it as a ride to work. May favorite has been A Time For Harvest, it is a great Call of Cthulhu series with one of the best rich old ladies ever! Well done, and I’m eggar for more.

I’ve been listening since the beginning - Funny, good sound quality, great interaction between players and a lot of fun to listen to! This is definately one of the best actual play podcasts out there- love that they play the published adventures. Keep up the great work!

I tried getting into the podcast through their Curse of Strahd campaign, as that is one of my favorite modules. The frequency of rules arguments and constant munchkining was an immediate turn off for me. There were occasional moments where they reacted to the atmosphere of the game, but mostly it was bickering about XP from encounters or metagaming. It could have been interesting but it was way more focused on being a gamer stereotype than a podcast. Could be interesting to some but I’m giving it a hard pass.

Great podcast to listen to while doing anything from cooking dinner to watching your favorite Twitch channel. Entertaining story lines and great input from the entire cast.

I've been listening since the beginning and while I miss the old format I do enjoy listening to the gaming. I recommend the show to anyone who likes listening to five chuckleheads have fun.

I have been listening since the beginning and Rancor is like a fine wine or cheese. They just keep getting better with age. I am table top player (board games) but I am LOVING the DnD exclusive episodes. They crack me up! I look forward to each episode. If you want to hear all things nerd related (comics, books, movies, games, etc) this is the show for you!

Interesting discussion on a wide range of nerdy topics with hilarious commentary interstpersed throughout. If you're a Battlestar Galactica fan, make sure you listen to the Battlestar Brothels- the two hosts are watching all episodes for the first time and doing a podcast for each. Really funny stuff.

Finally caught up on all the issues of Rancor's Brothel. I love the arguments in the Vs battles. I remember having those arguments with my friends. And also, I want in on this DnD game that you all are putting together.

gotta love these guys! they actually know their comic issue numbers, and are willing to go into all avenues of nerd-culture. they are funny too, so even if you arent sure about your geekiness, there back and forth is brillant! love u guys
