j911991Their just gonna fire Greg and the othersWhy listen to any show NFL media puts out? Like the Title says, yeah Greg is fine for a year or 2 whatever the contract is, what about Claybon wyche Colleen? When does NFL media fire them too? These guys are great but I won’t listen to more shows just for them to be canceled. If the guys were/are smart they would have left and started their own things. Colleen and Cynthia and Jrod all of em. BOOO

ManDrew1970Good not ATNGood show - love Rosy - even though he seems to be trying to drag the episodes to the 1 hour mark (most likely mandated). Idea NFL give us these pods ad free with NFL Plus Premium - you’d keep my subscription year round.
-
Josh11NFLGo to Heed the CallShambles that this exists with a new lick of paint over the ATN back catalog / rating statistics. Head over to Heed the Call.
-
WillValGreg is coolJust not the same and now it feels more control by a corporate structure

Bub and AmandaGregg is the goatGregg 🐐

big_E_15Gregg was always the best partLove the pod! Gregg was the best part of the original show and I think it’s even better now with him at the helm. Haven’t missed an episode yet since the rebrand. Keep up the great work!

nonicknamedadLove Gregg, not great podcastObviously I miss the old pod. It took a while for Gregg to find his rhythm. I love Gregg’s football analysis tho and wish him the best. What’s become clear now that the original has split into two pods, is the humor I love came from Dan and Marc, and the league spin and propaganda came from the shadowy league figures who still keep the bumper lanes on this pod, is accepted by Gregg. I wish Gregg and his guests could just speak freely. Lastly, I’m a Niners fan and it’s clear what Gregg and his occasional co-hosts think of this team when the Niners win and they spend 75% of the episode talking about the losing team. Or there’s always an implied “but” when talking about Brock Purdy. It’s kinda strange to me.

Killed the pod castNothing against GregAfter atn ended. Tried to support Gregg but podcast isn’t that great. Standard and best, probably should give it 3 starts but due to the fact they got rid of my favorite podcast and replaced it with this show I’m taking stars away. Also, don’t use ATN reviews for this that’s misleading. Some people would say that how you spread misinformation

Rossini7Around the NFL was the bestUsing the ATN feed is insulting to all its fans. Gregg was my favorite part of ATN, but forcing him into the host role of a daily podcast was extremely stupid and short-sighted. NFL media has ruined so many lives, shows, and careers it’s almost impressive. Also, the DJ ads are unbearable.
-
MisterZestyLove the man v machine podsQuick and too the point. Perfect length and Cynthia is a boss. Keep it up. Miss the old pod still but Gregg out here holding it together everyday. Reunion Pod at the Super Bowl?
-
AB-TXShe’ll of it’s former selfThis used to be called the Around the NFL Podcast, and it was incredible. Subterfuge ensued. The host was fired. Now you have this thing. The other show has been resurrected/reincarnated as the Heed the Call podcast. Ending @ the NFL is one of my 2 least favorite things about the NFL.

atacama7greggychanging my review from 1 star to 5 stars to support gregg
-
gabe.2019Excellent!Great job Greg and crew!!
-
CheesetonySmartI feel like I learn things every day. This is a great balance of fun and football knowledge. Way to go, Gregg and crew!
-
Mein tielStolen ratings valorIt’s unfair that NFL Daily has been bestowed the old podcast feed of ATN and inherited all of ATN’s 5 star ratings. Misleading! If you’re good enough to make it on your own, make it on your own.

ANGchewbaccaWanted to keep loving this.Been listening to ATN for over a decade. But a month or so into this half reboot, I give up. The show is not the same. There is no joy. There is no laughter. Unfortunately, this show treats football like a product, which it is to them because they work for the NFL. The original show was a show for real fans. Now it’s just about the ego of the host and point spreads. Simply put the show sold out and now it’s trash. If you want the magic back, listen to HTC.
-
The one and only average JoeGreat refreshObviously bummed that ATN ended, but this new show is a great listen, and the depth of analysis is exactly what I’m looking for from a football podcast
-
jeboyleSorry Triple GAs much as I like Gregg for his honesty and technical prowess, this show is missing the charm that made ATN unique from all other football podcasts. I enjoyed listening for the first month or so, but it’s slowly dropped to the bottom of my queue as its failed to bring me differentiating joy. HTC on the other hand has continued to grow on me and become a favorite, reminding me why ATN was my most listened to podcast for 8 years. NFL if you intended to lose me and the other thousands of fans who found ATN special, then you’ve succeeded, otherwise you really fudged up.

HeyBailer!60% G 100% of the time???I’ll take it!
-
srg_chiKeep grinding!Lots of haters out there comparing ATN to Daily… it’s not the same show and that’s to be expected and also perfectly ok. Also so much hate for something that’s just getting going. Every show needs time to develop. Haters, relax. Gregg and co., keep doing your thing! Only critique is: Jordan Rodrigue - love your analysis and passion and you’ve got an amazing football mind but please please please work on being a little more concise!
-
theindigiEhI barely listen anymore
-
Packer coveragePoliticalPatrick Claybon talks politics half the time. The show is a shell of its former self. Gregg is talented and eventually will be booted from the show so that Patrick can takeover and talk politics the entire time, which is what the NFL really wants.
-
wait? What just happened? The show lacks lifeI was a long time listener of Around the NFL. The other members of the cast, that are no longer there, brought a lot of personality and great analysis. This show gives some analysis but really lacks depth and life. It’s a struggle to listen to.
-
IACMDReviewI love the Sunday recap show. Greg was the best and most insightful of the original Heroes. But the daily content is hard to get excited about. 3 stars for great Sunday content and 1 extra star in hopes that the daily content gets better.
-
1outer5New ShowThis show feels flat. Miss the original and no longer seek out every new podcast drop.
-
Bring back Roy's top 10ShamefulSuch a shame
-
JamesP24Shows fine, but Dan and Marc made it specialGregg is fine, but more of a typical analyst. Dan is the funniest person in NFL media coverage, and Marc is the most unique. Follow them over to Heed the Call podcast.
-
Disappointed023Looking for smug analysis? This is the show. You better hope you like one of Gregg’s pet teams, otherwise just wait for the pithy comments that offer no insight or analysis.
-
FlacoMunozToo many adsGreat show just so many ads. Still miss the original show
-
BurnplantGregg, quit yellingDude.
-
Sup3rTallPaulChange is badJust not the same without the former crew.
-
Lebreezy6YMClownish BehaviorGregg R is a terrible podcast host. The other two hosts carried him in the ATN Era and he’s just fallen flat on his face. He knows nothing of football. I’m disappointed I wasted my time
-
HMS_MIKESTRIKEGreat Show, Ignore the Review BombsGreat football analysis, delivered with levity. Fairly easy to follow if you’re not a hardcore stat-head, though I wish they explained concepts more. If you’re unfamiliar with the host, an explanation of the negative reviews- Around the NFL was a show with a host that inspired a little cult of personality. That host got let go, and so all these weirdos feel they have to smite the show that replaced Around the NFL. You’re not going to get a ton of honesty out of them. So if you want some good faith criticisms of the show, here we go: Too many episodes. A daily format might have been fine if episodes were brief, but 45 minutes is about as short as they get, with many episodes pushing towards 90 minutes. It’s a lot to keep up with. But if you’re at a stage where you’re ravenously absorbing the sport, this show is serving you a lot better than most of the TV content out there.
-
imgpedNot the sameDan was the animated host of ATN and Gregg was good in small doses …Although he is good he doesn’t have the charisma to carry on this podcast and I hope he eventually joins Dan and Mark in Heed the Call later on if he ever gets let go from NFLN…
-
klanderaSubparYikes. Tough listen. Nothing new and not much of interest. Guests help…but only slightly😬
-
J_GBTough to beat ATNGregg is a great analyst, but the entertainment value just isn’t there. I respect the guests but none of them are funny. I’m most disappointed because if Wes was still alive, we all know he would have moved to Heed the Call with Marc and Dan. Gregg has the tattoo but didn’t heed the call when it mattered.
-
Hot Dad ManNo buenoLet me be clear. Gregg is supremely talented, and it seems he’s been given the task of carrying this new version of Around the NFL into the future or at least for the time being. We love Gregg. Anyone that’s listened to him long enough can really grasp that. But I have given this an honest listen. But it isn’t good. This is not good. What was the NFL thinking? I hope Gregg finds success. Keep working Gregg. This is not your fault. I’ll be listening to Heed the Call with Dan Hanzus and Marc Sessler. Wish this never happened.
-
willstylessDifferent but greatI loved the heroes together. Hopefully there will be guest appearances. I think this and HTC are both great in their own right right
-
whostolemyxanaxAnnoying host, too many adsThe guests are usually solid but the host has a really annoying voice and replies to everything with a different pitched “hmmm” sound. Try to unhear it, you can’t. The ads are also way too frequent and repetitive. Used to be a much better podcast
-
sarahhg4141NFL season is not the same without ATN!Gregg was a great co-host on ATN but it’s not working without Dan and Marc. Honestly so sad that this NFL season doesn’t have ATN.
-
Pappy goochyGregg, get your house in order. The ideal 53 with 10 Rams players just can’t happen, can’t be published like that
-
Schooly CWhy? Why? Why cut ATN?!?!?I’m glad Gregg is still in the game, but NFL, why did you take the most popular NFL podcast and shutter it?
-
M OldroJust boring.I like the concept of a daily podcast, but I can’t count how many times I have zoned out and stop paying attention. This show just has no juice, not even comparable to ATN.
-
E110011Good info, but not as fun…I like the host, I like the guests as individuals, and it’s good information. But there’s some spirit missing, a lack of cohesiveness, a lack of fun
-
LeoJM2Incredibly dumbI’m personally insulted that you killed the best sports podcast in the middle of the night, told no one, then put this abomination in its place. Shame on you NFL. I’ve unfollowed to listen to Heed the Call exclusively. Thank God.
-
NFL fan84No ATNThis isn’t it. This is fine but it’s not close to as good as ATN. No clue why they changed the show and got rid of two awesome hosts.
-
Mrnobody916Not knowing people or infoIt’s hard to take a league podcast seriously when the host can’t get information right. Can’t get the name of long time 49ers insider Matt Maiocco right & also saying Jacob Cowing is undrafted when he’s actually a 4th round pick. There’s a reason certain people aren’t meant to be hosts of shows & I hope it’s realized soon. This podcast can’t disappear soon enough.
-
P to the RayFalls FlatThis podcasts falls flat on its face. NFL made a HUGE mistake in canceling ATN. I’m unfollowing and only listening to Heed the Call now! You blew it NFL!
-
RiverishimThis is soooo goodI love this
-
Hobo plays bird gameGreat information but light on entertainment valueLooooongtime ATN listener. I have been trying to give this new podcast a fair chance since ATN was stupidly broken up by the NFL. Gregg is doing a fine job bringing daily information to listeners, but often the content is like reading a website and lacks much of the entertainment value that ATN used to have. I’ve moved over to the Heed the Call podcast, though I plan to listen to this show on occasion for news, updates, etc.
