    Rob FTW
So glad Rob is back! Rob laid the foundation for my financial literacy and smoothened my transition from indebted grad school times to more recent times with real job and real savings.

    Glad Rob’s Back
Glad to have Rob back! I love how well he can explain things in simplest terms. It’s like I’m talking to my brother-in-law over a beer (not Bud Light)!

Used to be a fantastic podcast
Dough roller used to be one of my favorite podcasts. I learned so much from Rob, but ever since the podcast came back on after dough roller was acquired, the quality has plummeted. Its a totally different kind of podcast now. It’s a shame, I used to be a huge fan. If you want podcast that are like the old dough roller shows, check out the Rob Berger Show. Rob Berger is still great, but you can’t get the best of him on Dough Riller anymore.

    Used to be great
I used to love Rob’s solo Podcasts. But now with the interviews it’s lost it’s charm.

    Lack of Integrity
I understand that Rob sold the business but if he’s going to remain the host, and face, of the podcast he needs to maintain his integrity for the audience to believe him. When he was still in charge of things he, on several occasions, chastised Dave Ramsey’s philosophies (and rightly so!). Now he is having Dave Ramsey’s staff on for interviews and acting like he agrees with their teachings or at most politely agrees to disagree. Having people on your podcast and not disagreeing when they make financially unintelligent statements is giving credibility to what they’re saying. It’s fine to disagree and explain why but it feels like Dave Ramsey bought time on the show. No integrity at all. Letting your guest come on and say credit cards are evil because the podcast listeners are too stupid to use the rewards without getting into trouble (my paraphrasing) and not vehemently disagreeing is a disservice to your audience. No point listening further to the podcast since it’s turned into paid advertising disguised as news.

    Improve the audio
There was no content to rate this episode. But I will say that with a team now behind the podcast the audio should sound better. Rob’s voice was thin and had a little sibilance that made the audio unpleasant.

    Podcast?
Pity this show is no longer in podcast form. I guess u-tube is ok for some folks but I really enjoyed just listening to this program. Would rate this much higher if it were still in podcast form.

    Very low volume

    My favorite podcast
I really enjoy this podcast. I have learned so much. I originally heard Rob on another podcast and from there I found this one. This by far is the best personal finance podcast that I’ve found thus far.

    Sound issues
I like Rob and enjoy the podcast, but unfortunately I can hardly hear him over my loud work truck. Other podcasts I have been able to adjust the sound accordingly but for some reason the DR podcast is too quiet.
  • BobD123456
Rob is good but too few episodes
I like Rob and his style - BUT. This used to be one of my favorite financial podcasts but since it was sold the episodes have become less frequent and in the case of the current one posted three weeks later than the date it was recorded. I have moved on to other financial podcasts. hated to see this one go downhill.
  • fire on deck

Still the best podcast on finance!
Although Rob Berger hasn’t made many podcasts recently, his past podcasts are still golden! He gives the the best and most thorough advice on how to become financially free in a engaging way. He teaches you how to save, invest, and the attitude needed on the journey to become fi. I still listen to his past podcasts as a way to motivate and remind myself why I want to be financially free. If you read this Rob,please keep it going!

    Fantastic wealth of knowledge
I listen to a ton of personal finance podcasts. The Doughroller podcast is by far my favorite one that I keep coming back to. He covers a ton of topics in a knowledgeable and reasonable way. You really can’t go wrong with the Doughroller podcast!

    The best
This is by far my favorite financial podcast and I listen to several. Rob is down to earth but brilliant. His podcasts have answered the investing questions I have had. He is not a financial adviser but knows more than most advisers. Great show and thank you Rob! Only thing to add is that number of podcasts gave greatly diminished since he sold dough roller. He seems to have put his energy into writing his book and other ventures. It’s been disappointing because I love Rob’s podcasts.

    Great podcasts and resource
Amazing podcast, very detailed and organized. Has helped me tremendously as I look at starting a podcast on financial literacy.

    One fixable flaw
I really enjoy the podcast but notice a significant volume difference between Rob and a guest, when he has one. The guest’s voice is significantly louder than Rob’s. In order to understand Rob’s questions/comments, one has to turn the volume up, only to get blasted when the guest speaks. I know this is fixable, as lots of other podcasts with offsite guests do not have this issue. Please try to fix!! Thanks!! And keep up the good work!!
  • Sleepless in Stonybrook
    Simple and Great
Rob covers a lot of topics from basic to advanced in an easy to listen to format
  • WaitsTooLongToReview
    Very informative
Amazing advice and information that quite literally has changed my life. Breaks down personal finance in a way that’s understandable and actionable for a DIY investor. Rob is actually funny without trying to be, and although the shows need to be edited way better to get rid of dead space, and waiting while something gets pulled up on the computer, the total lack of commercials is awesome! No theme music, and just lots of great content gets it to 5 stars.

    Best Personal Finance Podcast
This is simply the best personal finance podcast available. Rob provides entertaining and educational insight on all topics of personal finance. Keep up the great work!

Straight info, no fluff, no ads
I listen to just about every single financial podcast and was compelled to write a review because you’re the only one who doesn’t spend 25% of the show begging for reviews or launching ads for the new 2019 Lexus durp-da-durp. Straight money info. No fluff. Smart humble and cool. I believe your genuinely interested in adding value more than you are doing this to create passive income for yourself through “growing a community.” This guy is sincere. Easy and enjoyable. Thank you for all the valuable info.

    Love this podcast!
This is a great podcast for anyone that is interested in personal finance. As a 25 year old living in NYC I love to listen to this on my commute and feel more empowered in my financial decision making. I would love for an episode or feature on Rob’s view on doing a Roth or traditional 401k. Living in New York my tax rate is high and and I’ve read the dough roller article that generally the rule of thumb is if you are in the lower tax bracket to go for Roth. Can you walk through implications, considerations or even a formula? That would be amazing! Thanks for a great podcast!!!!! 💯💯💯💯

    Great Show
Very sound straight forward advice. I love the information that is shared. It has proved very helpful to me. I listen to every show. With all due respect and this isn’t meant to be rude, but please work on the the lip smacking it can be very distracting from the message that you are giving. I almost stopped listening after the first five minutes of the first podcast. I’m glad that I didn’t somehow I’ve become used to it but when I share the podcast with others that’s the first thing they mention. Keep providing the amazing information you are an extremely helpful and knowledgeable person when it comes to financial planning. Thank you for all of your tutelage.

    Enjoy the pod cast.
This is a very nice and solid podcast. I enjoy listening. One issue or suggestion or request I have- can we work on the lip smacking maybe? I know when a thought is coming because of the lip click that comes along with most every pause. Pause, smack. Pause, smack. Lol. I do enjoy the material but I listen on headsets which likely exacerbates the issue. Just a request. Doesn’t happen all the time. Thanks! Great podcast! I subscribed!

Great for people looking for more
As a long time Dave Ramsey listener I have been looking for someone and something to fill the void of knowledge in personal finance and this show fits it perfectly. Well done hooked right out of the gate. Appreciate all the work you do and the knowledge that I have gained from just the first couple cherry picked episodes has been remarkable. Double thumbs up!
  • kissmyhusky
    Tough to listen to
This is going to sound ungrateful and pithy but the constant lip smacking sound and um’s are just so interruptive and annoying, making it hard to listen. Hope you get coaching for that and go from good to great.

    Favorite personal finance show
I discovered this podcast this year by searching and fell in love with it ever since. I'm a very skeptical person but there's just nothing I don't love about this show. I quickly subscribed and also started to listen from the very beginning. I only wish that there will be more updates. Thank you so much for your great work!

    THANK YOU!
First off, I can’t thank you enough for what you do and how much you help fellow college students as myself. One request: can you provide more content about owning a business and the financial situations dealt with in that regard?

    Favorite Financial Podcast
The Dough Roller covers a wide range of topics for a wide range of people. Unlike some like Dave Ramsey, Rob is not over the top or rigid. He realizes that the same answer doesn't work for every person. He shares sound financial advice and does interviews with many well known financial professionals. I listen to at least a half-dozen financial podcast, trying to get educated - this is my favorite!
