wizzolfTop shelfThis is the best Bond podcast in my opinion, I can listen to them over and over, and do. I wonder if they'll ever return.

Patrick in PalisadesHave to give the boys some creditTheir background knowledge of the franchise and wide array of impressive interviews have to be acknowledged. All that stuff is impressive. And while art is totally subjective, call me crazy but the only reason they don’t get full marks from me is that they love the films too much! I am rewatching the films and listening to their reviews as I go along, they love every single one! Even the bad ones! They seem to actively struggle to say anything critical about the bond films, which takes away from their credibility a bit and makes it less entertaining. It’s ok to not like “the man with the golden gun” you wouldn’t be the only one.

duff_starGreat show. I found it too lateI just found this podcast after it was mentioned on James Bonding w the Matts and I was so sad when i realized the most recent episode was the one saying goodbye. I’ve been enjoying diving into the back catalog and plan to continue to listen. Great content. Bummed I missed out.

ForeverFarrisSuperlativeTHE best bond podcast. I’ve listened to each and every episode (at least once) from their first one to their last. Tom and Chris have created something that will be cherished and shared with friends and bond fans for years to come. Tom, good luck with your little family. Chris, our hearts break with yours, you’ll be in our thoughts and prayers. You’ve both been an inspiration and your show has been a bright light of positivity in an increasingly bleak world. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I know JBR won’t return, but never say never…

Barry 8892Very entertaining!I’m a little late on finding these guys but I’m hooked! Very entertaining and insightful. Keep up the great work!

xj6 aficianadoAbsolutely RidiculousHard to tell which is worse! This inane podcast or the newest Bond release NTTD! Both are beyond comprehension. To spend 20 episodes discussing the movie is ludicrous at best. Both get Zero stars from me. Truly laughable. Pathetic!

TAF1701a“30-Days” a Winning Format🕵🏽 NTtD open in the United States a while ago. Finally have tickets to see it Tuesday since my son (22) and I want to see it together. I’m not sure about other countries but in our movie theaters we have to pick our specific seats ahead of time. I was surprised that, when I purchased them, all the seats were still available. 🕵️♀️ He thinks the reason is mostly because of competing films. However I think there is a much smaller fan-base at least in the northeast. Bond is nowhere near as popular as in the 1960s-90s. BTW my guy is Pierce. 🕵🏼♀️ The vast majority of the ninety-second listener reviews mentioned they saw the film multiple times. Surely if that were the case in the U.S. then there would remain a fairly heavy audience. It’s been 10 days & still my theater has lots of seats free. Just my observation. 🎙Your show gives an outstanding treatment of “all things 007” just like that sexy voice claims. Even when you disagree etc the sincerity & rationale are obvious. Very very entertaining for this longtime fan. I do miss the little games & trivia which bookended the episodes though. The “watches” & “car crashes” two-parters were great. Loved the comparisons of villains’ deaths, too. And the restraint with which Tom examined Die Another Day is admirable. Chris has a talent for analysis of the filmmaking processes evident on screen; I wish he would offer more of that production expertise. 🍿 Back to where I started: Because of the controversy surrounding No Time to Die, I decided to approach this Tuesday afternoon knowing everything critical (+/-) about it. I wanted no surprises since I really want to enjoy it. To me, the best part of the Daniel films was all the fan service in Skyfall. I don’t mind knowing the plots & subplots & the character quirks & this & that. Usually, yes, but because practically all the JBR listener reviews testified that subsequent viewings raised their own appreciations of NTtD, I decided the 30-Days would be my 1st attempt albeit non-visual. For example, Chris’ great explanation of Safin’s Island will calm whatever curiosities or confusions that pop up in my head immediately at those screen moments. 🙂 Thank you, guys, and that includes your guests & producers.

Joe "Steiml-Time" SBest James Bond PodcastAs a James Bond fan I’m disappointed in myself for not stumbling across this podcast sooner. The two hosts are extremely knowledgeable and have great chemistry. While I may not always agree with their opinions completely, there is no denying I learn something fascinating and have a great time with each new episode. I cannot recommend this podcast highly enough, even if you only have a passing interest in Bond.

PR-TNUnfiltered and Unashamed Fans!!I discovered JBR about two years ago and was amazed to find people with FAR more Bond depth than I had. I’ve gone back and listened to most at this point. The enjoyment I get out of hearing enthusiastic and knowledgeable fans discuss the films and books is great, whether I agree with their opinions or not. The casts have encouraged me to go back and rewatch/reread with a more attentive eye. Not every episode is for me (talking to you, Watches of Bond!) but there are others I’ve listened to multiple times. And there are some unexpected jewels, like the interview with Bruce Glover. The best discussions are those where there is real passion (Die Another Day review still puts me on the floor!). Sure they get a little raucous but that’s part of the fun. (That’s what the “explicit” ranking means…) The world’s an ugly place at times and if I can get a little bit of joy from an off color discussion, I think that’s ok. Im enjoying Bond more I than ever thanks to Tom, Chris, and the extended JBR family.

Mike SteczThe show any true Bond fan needsAfter discovering this show I have been binge watching and listening to this show on YouTube and iTunes. These guys are fun, knowledgeable, and have great information and takes on the world of Bond both currently and in the past.

Corey LambrechtHosts are too vulgar. / Tom whispers too much.10-12-21 Tom : please stop whispering - your audio is very difficult to understand because you talk so quietly. Chris is easy to understand. You speak too softly. You start your sentences clearly but then trail off and whisper all the time. Very frustrating to listen to. Also- too much cussing. Why so vulgar ?

trekkie1981Best Bond podcast. Period.I am a new 007 fan, less than a year at this point, but I have fallen hard for the British secret agent, I must admit. I can’t tell you why it took me my whole life before I finally decided to give this franchise a chance, but better late than never, I suppose. I found this podcast an invaluable resource in my thirst for knowledge for Bond, and I have gone back and started listening to all of the old episodes. I found the film reviews in particular helpful, as I listened to them as I progressed through each of the films for the first time. Tom and Chris are so entertaining and down to earth. It’s like hanging out with friends and shooting the breeze about a mutual interest. If you are remotely interested in Bond, please do yourself a favor and subscribe to this podcast. You will not regret it.

Mr. Drew HunterThe Best Bond Podcast Around.Been listening to this podcast for over five years now. The hosts are absolutely entertaining to listen to and they certainly know their Bond. They’re some of the most passionate Bond fans around and their love for the franchise is highly infectious. The variety of topics they cover is immense and always interesting. It’s hard to listen to an episode and not have the sudden urge to watch a Bond film afterwards. This is easily one of my favorite podcasts and I’d recommend it to any avid Bond fan. Keep up the good work, fellas!

TLayhewThe Podcast I never knew I neededThis may have just become my favorite Podcast. JBR keeps it’s content fresh and amazing with fantastic interviews for Bond fans featuring greats like Roger Moore and John Glen. Beyond the simple interview or dialogue, this show has varied content discussing the music of 007, news, even (sometimes) the books. I’m binging every episode I can, if you like 007, you’ll love this show.

DarthNymeriaShe always did enjoy a good squeeze. It’s been an absolute pleasure discovering this podcast, I first started listening about five months ago and I’ve already gone back and listened to almost all of the episodes leading up to it. The hosts have a great sense of humor and always have something interesting to say about the world of Bond. They’ve also scored some killer interviews including Sir Roger Moore himself! I love their positive attitude and how they celebrate the bests parts of each films instead of focusing on negative things. Although Die Another Day has yet to come and that shall be a fun listen I think : p they play little trivia games at the end of each episode and Include the listeners in on it which is very cool. Highly recommend it to any Bond fan.
-
laser.guided.sporkThey've only gone and done itI was uncertain about this one at first, but it wasn't long before I was hooked, and caught up on almost every episode. I love it when the interview with their featured guest ends, and I look at the time, and there are still 20 minutes left in the episode. Yeah, I pretty much can't get enough. I disagree with them on so many points about what makes Bond great, and where the weak parts are, but they always inspire thought and great discussion ensues. Keep it up, gents.

UnivexmDefinitive James Bond RadioThis podcast lives up to its name and more. This is more than a podcast. It is a radio station, network, and 007 headquarters for all things James Bond Media. Tom and Chris are great hosts that unabashedly love all things James Bond. I appreciate that they cover not just the films but the books, comics, and more things Fleming. I really have come to enjoy learning about the music of Bond with those dedicated episodes about the scores with John Williams and (hopefully returning?) Warren Ringham! Keep up the good work fellas!
