Advice for both planning and later living your retirement
The show has evolved over the years, and I like that he tries new approaches and keeps what works. Some of his best podcast sections are his when he works with volunteers on their individual retirement plans. There’s much to learn from their experiences and planning.

    AT&T Data Breach
Listening to your episode about the AT&T Data breach. You said that you really weren’t mad at AT&T. But have we ever really stopped and asked ourselves why AT&T needed your Social Security number in the first place? They really don’t! We need to be more mindful in asking why a companies selling us a cell phone/plan needs our SSN’s. They don’t need it. If we don’t pay, they shut off our phones. It’s that simple. Companies like AT&T shouldn’t be allowed to collect so much info from us that it can destroy our lives if they don’t protect our info.

    Great resource
This show is a great resource whether you are years away from retirement or already there. Roger and crew are very entertaining and do a great job of selecting topics and guests that are easy to listen to and understand. Some other retirement podcasts are super dry, this one is like ear candy that is actually good for you. Give it a listen!

    New listener needing to “catch-up”
I just discovered this podcast and I’m hooked now. I’m 57 and approaching retirement but it still seems so mysterious and elusive to me. I want to start at the beginning and listen to all his podcasts now. This is exactly what I’ve been needing! Thank you!

    My go to retirement podcast!!
I started listening about 3 years ago to help with my retirement flight plan. Couple of years to go and the turbulence has reduced greatly.

    Digression Experts
I was excited to find your show, but after listening to a few episodes, I noticed the topic really digresses from the title and what I expect you guys to discuss. It’s quite disappointing.

    Great, comprehensive advice
One of the best retirement podcasts. Not just financial advice, but also advice on preparing for retirement from a holistic standpoint.

    My favorite retirement podcast
Roger is so intentional about his topics! He addresses not only complex financial questions but also life quality, and encourages decisions that lead us to a fulfilling retirement. He interviews not only experts but also folks walking the journey. Whenever a new episode drops, I listen right away… and then I can hardly wait for the next one.

    Valuable information And FUN!
I’ve listened to all the Retirement Podcasts- once. This is by far superior to any others, and I never miss an episode. Roger treats Retirement holistically; it’s about planning for the money, yes- but interwoven into every podcast are talks about lifestyle changes, family concerns, mental health, everything one can expect to be dealing with, before, during, and after retirement- it’s a lifestyle, not a one-time event. Roger and his guest speakers are always engaging, thoughtful and kind. Can you say that for any other podcasts you frequent?

All the best for the holidays to you and your family.

    Genuine and sincere
Roger shares information in a manner that even a beginner can understand. He seems to genuinely care and wants to help those of us who are trying to figure out our options for retirement. He keeps his political views out of the podcast which is something I appreciate. He also discusses the non financial side of retirement which is so crucial as we age. Much appreciate this podcast! Thanks and keep it going

Start here then go listen to anyone else.
This should be the starting point for anyone thinking about or already in retirement. So much information presented in an easy-to-understand way. I’ve listened to and followed many of the people out there but The Retirement Answer Man is, by far, the best.

    Super helpful
This podcast has something for everyone. Not the average listener, I’m in the bottom tax bracket. Even so - I learn a lot about retirement finance that is helping me make the most of what I can save. And, the non-financial topics are great for everyone. I love what you’re doing. Keep up the good work!!

    Awesome Podcast
I have been listening to this podcast for several years now and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The podcast strikes a great balance between the financial and non-financial aspects of retirement. I feel much better prepared for when that day comes that I step away from full time work to rocking retirement.

    Wholistic Approach to Retirment
Over the past 3 years during my transition to the retirement phase, Roger’s show had remained my go to resource for my own learning and growing within retirement. I believe Roger and his team truly has all of our best interests in mind, and craft a show to help us improve our lives and opportunities in retirement. Thanks for your work!

    Well-Ronded Show
What I like about this show is that it is well-rounded. I listen to a variety of retirement, financial, and investment podcasts, and this is the only one that covers important aspects of retirement beyond the financial, including physical, emotional, and social wellness. Love it!
  • Rrrrrickk
    Great podcast, even better resource
Roger has put an amazing amount of effort into creating a very valuable educational resource for anyone who is, wants to be, or is forced to be retired. Of course, retirement means different things to different people and anyone along that continuum can get something out of this podcast, financial and perhaps more importantly non-financial. There is a really nice team approach - I certainly enjoy some coaches more than others, some episodes more than others, but after listening to all 500+ episodes I always managed to take away something. Despite being free, it’s also largely free of bias, and although I’ve (paid for and) joined the club, the links and recommendations are easily followed for those wanting to dive deeper. Easy to listen to on my commute and my frequent walks. Glad I found it!

Practical and holistic retirement planning advice
Roger and his guests provide practical advice that’s easy to understand and enjoyable to listen to. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone interested in understanding not just the technical financial aspects to plan for retirement, but also the human aspects that are equally important and often not fully considered.

Super helpful on real life aspects
Roger and team do a great job of covering current and real life issues involved in preparation for and in retirement real life examples of issues encountered. I really appreciate the work they do and give this show 2 thumbs up and recommend you give it a try as it is well worth your time.👍👍

    Best Retirement Podcast
I’ve been listening to the show for several years now and went back to listen to the ones I missed. I recently retired and find the show in line for my needs/wants/desires. I sometimes wish for a more detailed answer by Roger voicing the assumptions for the answer (because the assumptions can completely change the answer) so we can understand the full thought for a particular situation. Most of the time the subjects are very pertinent to my life in retirement and I appreciate the well organized and thoughtful, kind, show that is produced.

    Love the holistic approach!
Roger and team - thank you for the excellent discussion and content. I especially appreciate the holistic approach to retirement planning and living. I also enjoy the series in which you work directly with individuals walking through the steps of the process.

Roger and his team ROCK Retirement
See what I did there? Seriously though the fine folks at RRC know their stuff and will guide you and yours safely to your goals. Roger’s amazing. Wish he had more time to work on his golf game though!

One of the best on rocking your retirement!!!
Hi Roger, Your podcast is the first podcast I ever listened to and feel in LOVE!!! Thank you for the continuous content to help me rock my retirement!!! All the best, DA
  • eureka homesteader
    Wow, did that just happen?
The last retirement live event was disgraceful. I don’t know how you thought it was ok to drag that person through what was clearly a totally failed plan from the start, and do so in public. And then you went straight into your sales pitch for your $99 a month retirement club. You have clearly moved to the monetizing dark side along with your RRC elite who are obsessed with their money counting and culture. I used to like the podcast but clearly the motivations have changed.

    Very helpful
Lots of great info here in an accessible and non-abrasive fashion! Pleasant and low-key vibe that makes the complicated concepts manageable. Small critique - the intro quotes are most of the time wrongly attributed. :)

Best Retirement Podcast - covers all
I've been listening to Roger for years. Started listening about 2 years prior to retirement. His early episodes were exactly the "how to" instructions to prepare for retirement. He has branched out to include more of how to Rock retirement that takes you beyond the numbers which is harder to implement but definitely helps simplify framing of those important non-number considerations. START from Episode #1!
  • dhskbdjfj
    Good, sound guidance
Roger is one of the best in this category because he offers good, sound guidance without sounding know-it-all or dismissive. Great podcast!

    Retirement Group Therapy
Roger has a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw on, yet he draws on contributing voices to help allay the fear and anxiety of changing identity (employed to retired). I started listening about 2-3 years before retiring and was just what I needed. After 18 months of retirement and despite the current economic climate I have no regrets. Thank you to Roger and all his contributing guests.

    Best Retirement Podcast Out There
Roger discusses RETIREMENT. Until I found him, my focus was only on a number and how to get to that right number. Roger does discuss strategies on how to manage your money, but also how to prepare you mind, body and soul so that when you do retire you not only have enough money, but you also have enough Life to spend and enjoy it.

Valuable resources before and during retirement
I’m a relative newcomer to podcast and playing catch-up. It’s a treasure trove of all things retirement. Number crunching is crucial but appreciate RW’s balanced approach.

Great info as one prepares to retire
Started listening to Roger a couple years before retirement and I continue to listen after 5 years of retirement. I enjoy the diversity of topics, extending beyond just money, and learn a lot! I attempt to apply his “pie-cake” approach, yet I haven’t gotten my advisor on the same page yet. Keep it up Roger! I’m still listening.
