I started listening to the Husker Online podcast in 2016 because it was entertaining and provided insider information. For nine years, I listened to every episode. However, the show has now shifted its focus to making money, neglecting Husker football content. The podcast is overloaded with commercials, with five minutes of ads for every seven to ten minutes of actual content. It's absolutely terrible! Steve's new favorite phrase, 'It will be interesting to see,' hardly constitutes top-notch Husker podcast content. I'm subjected to 15 to 20 minutes of commercials in a 50-minute podcast. The Husker Online podcast has become too bloated for the meager content it offers.

Great show with an even better blend of husker news, educated opinions, and laughs. The guys have a great rapport which makes for a very entertaining show. Have been a dedicated listener for over a year, and it’s been time well spent.

I love the show and it’s great to hear about the Skers. I can do without the project 2025 commercials though. It’s all a lie!

I listen a several Husker podcasts but HOL remains my favorite. Lots of info and light hearted enough to get a few laughs in too. They occasionally get off into the weeds but not enough to be annoying like some other podcast thats will waste a lot of my time talking about everything but Husker sports.

I look forward to this podcast every week. I wish they did it daily as opposed to twice a week! Keep it coming! Robin I want a basketball series by you starting in January!

I would like to weigh in on Sipples comments regarding what you would do to Michigan or their coach about the cheating scandal. I disagree wholeheartedly with Sybil. When you start looking at things on how they affect you or the conference over what is right and wrong, you have lost your way. Your moral compass is broken. They cheated end of story. They should be punished by the Big Ten and the NCAA. No matter the consequences to the Big Ten.

These guys are the best in the business when it comes to covering Husker football. My most anticipated podcast each week.

Can’t believe Jim rose can speak with his lips so attached to bill Callahan and steve petersons keisters. Shawn callahan dislikes Bo Pelini so bad he can’t say one good thing about him. Its not even comical anytime these morons bringing up the past. Rose waxing poetically about the Callahan years lol. 2 morons like these are why Nebraska is in the situation it’s in at the moment.

I always enjoy all the podcasts. This latest episode with Jim Rose was good, but Jim was negative Nelly. We all know the Huskers aren’t a great team….but they do still have a chance with the remaining teams. He already has us beat in the remaining games after Friday night. One game at a time Jim. Disappointed on how negative he was. We had a win, let us enjoy it a little bit before telling us the rest of the schedule is not favorable. We all know that. GBR! Jana

It’s just so tiring to do the same song and dance all the time. Nebraska can do no wrong, their players are perennial All-Conference guys, their recruits are simultaneously all diamonds in the rough when they commit and overrated losers when they go to another school. They can’t let the 90’s go, insisting that any problem they rarely actually admit to can be solved by looking at what the teams of 20-30 YEARS AGO did instead of, oh I dunno, modeling themselves after any other relevant program in the modern era. The cancellation of the 2020 season has put this into stark relief, with Sean and the boys screeching about how unfairly Nebraska has been treated for saying they want to play. They spent basically an entire show talking about leaving the conference, but also got huffy online when other people interpreted Nebraska’s actions the same way. I do give them credit; they fully understand our fanbase’s deep-rooted persecution complex and throw fuel on that fire at every opportunity. Plus, their constant pandering has given them a good level of inside access to players and coaches, as long as they continue to, in their own words, “kiss the ring”. However, their analysis is so skewed by their bias, they don’t really have many unique insights. In short, if you want a Husker show full of confirmation biases and empty praise, Sean, Robin, and Nate have you covered. If you want actual insight, look elsewhere.

This crew got out the pity bag on the 8/12 show. Nebraska does not have much prestige in the conference b/c they haven’t won fellas! LOL Badger Bob

The absolute best podcast for Husker athletics! Sean and the guys have all aspects covered from material, storylines, even down to the microphones or sound system they use. Everyone’s voice is consistent, strong, and phonetically sound. Their organization is top notch with rarely two people talking at once; this happens all the time with their competition. Many sports podcasts tend to drift off topic, but Huskeronline keeps the time you listen to them as packed and valuable as possible with great Husker talk. Sean, Nate and the gang keep it professional and content-rich, thank you guys!

Sean is the best at breaking down the points that matter. They have the best interviews with best questions and topics.

1) Don’t break the show down into segments and post all the segments in addition to the full show. Just post the full show. Every time you post, I have to go in and delete the 5 segments that downloaded in addition to the full show. That is a pain in my butt. 2) This isn’t TV. Please just introduce people once and not over and over again at the start of each segment. Other than those 2 suggestions, I like the show.

Never listened to this show but I'm a native Nebraskan, so it gets 5 stars. Living in Oregon the last 5 years I've realized how special Nebraska is when it comes to college football. Even as things are bad now, they won't be forever. Nebraska football will be back and unlike everywhere else, THE FANS WILL BE THERE WHEN THEY RETURN, BECAUSE THEY NEVER LEFT. I make time to watch EVERY game. And I know there are 100,000 people who are just like me all over this country, let alone in Nebraska. Stay strong Husker fans. Continue to be the best fans in college football and stick by your team! They will be back. Will you be able to say you've been here all along?
