Golden State NaturalistSo glad I found this podcastI always learn so much from Future Ecologies, and it’s because each episode is so well-researched and carefully crafted. The guests are always fascinating, Adam and Mendel offer meaningful commentary, and the show is highly produced, which makes it an easy and engaging listening experience. Thanks for making this, guys!

NYCisListeningEcology like a thrillerIf this podcast were a book, it'd be a pageturner. And that's not because Adam and Mendel simplify things. Instead, they take the obstacles in their protagonists' way plus whatever complicates their topic, and then they turn that into fascinating twists. I originally just wanted to understand kelp better when I found this podcast. Thanks to Adam and Mendel, I found a whole world of fascinating ecology stories.

ToriAKlineLiterally changed my life! This podcast is literally addictive, but I don’t even have to feel guilty about binging it because every episode is so educational and perspective altering. I’ve actually listened to almost every episode more than once because there’s so much material that I want to retain and understand better. Future Ecologies altered my career path, as I am now looking to go into a field of law that merges environmental science with indigenous property law. This is a niche I didn’t even know existed until this podcast!

MJH in VancouverWonderful, and keeps getting betterMendel and Adam dive deep into exciting worlds of discovery on these tours into the unknown. Their interviews are excellent, showing the twists and surprises in research, and the controversies that ensue. Their interest and attention to Indigenous history and on-going presence is a breath of fresh air, quite unusual compared to other explorations in our changing ecologies.

Zach @ EARTH LOVE // creativeThis is Great WorkI want to thank the Future Ecologies team for such an insightful, intersectional, and relevant podcast - particularly for the effort to ‘decolonize’ and promote the voices we need most right now - Indigenous people, who retain and exhibit a kinship with nature (an ecological understanding of what it means to be human on Earth). Plus, the production quality is excellent. Anyone interested in ideas on how we can live more responsibly, and more fulfilled, as creatures on Earth, this is your podcast! Thanks, FE, I’m grateful for your work. 🌏❤️🌀 PS: subscribe on Patreon to support their work. I’ll be doing that soon.

jkhappachLove itI have my BS in Ecology, and I really enjoy this podcast! They explore many facets of a subject and make it interesting for the listener. The editing is great for just two people so it in their free time. I also enjoy how they make an effort to highlight the indigenous populations of the areas they're talking about. I find it similar to Outside/In, another podcast I love.

SeungdongInsightful and useful... beautifully producedWhat a fantastic way to spend my day. Listen to the episodes many times to get new things out of them. Really useful information for those seeking answers to how the anthropocene is making the world a different place, and how we can be more aware of our impact.
