MamahaynieThank you for all that you do!!I am so grateful for your podcast! I was diagnosed with metastatic HER2+ in Nov 2023. Underwent TCHP for 6 rounds and it melted the tumor and I have no active cancer cells in my lymph nodes. No surgery or radiation required. I have learned a lot from your podcasts and am going to embark on a plant forward diet. Thank you Dr. Teplinsky!

VSperlDr. Teplinsky’s podcasts are informative and supportive! This podcast series has been a tremendous resource for me as I moved through treatment and reintegrate back into life as a survivor. The wide range of topics and speakers answer questions I didn’t know I had. Thank you!

Andi OllerAwesome episode! As a breast cancer survivor, I listen to podcasts from time to time to keep up on the latest news. Dr T. shares information in a way that is both informative and motivating for a person stepping into survivorship. This episode in particular about nutrition and diet was so helpful for someone after active treatment. Some of the information shared was so simple but I can imagine it making a big impact (like planning ahead to ensure you are getting the most nutrient dense unprocessed food during a stressful time so you are not stuck eating junk when u are feeling not great to begin with!) I can also see how it could be so helpful for someone in treatment or for a caregiver supporting someone going through active treatment. Bravo to both of you! Hoping for a part 2 with more useful tips at some point in the future!

bsolidayShining light into the darknessI’ve listened to several of Dr. Teplinsky’s podcast episodes and I find them educational and uplifting. Dr. Teplinsky provides evidence based, easy to understand guidance and explains the “why” behind the answers. She also includes many guest speakers to share broader information about breast and gynecological cancers and services that cancer survivors can research and leverage. While receiving a cancer diagnosis makes you feel like you are falling down a deep dark hole, Dr. Teplinsky’s podcast shines a light into the darkness to help you find your way.

NNoooPladInformative!!I love listening to this podcast to learn about women’s health. Dr. Teplinski stays up to date on all of the most current guidelines, research, and medical breakthroughs. I really enjoy the Q&A where she answers what her listeners would like to know. Definitely a “must listen” for all women ! Thank you, Dr., for all you do!
-
CatrinBlairLike talking to my girlfriends! The episodes I’ve listened to are women who are both realistic, determined and positive. They recognize that this disease is NOT what it used to be. What is cool is that is focuses on women, whose uniqueness is so often overlooked by the medical industry. AND it upends often out-dated attitudes about cancer, something I discovered soon after my diagnosis with a cancer so rare and so aggressive that it only comes in stage 4. .Once you get friends and family to realize how much has happened -esp. when you get diagnosed early and find the place that can cure you, makes cancer a whole new—and eminently treatable-ballgame. It means you’re not just surviving, but thriving, with a whole new appreciation of life, loved ones and your own body. Love her guests, feels like I’m listening to my girlfriends!

PMDIThe Interlude PodcastThis interlude podcast with host Dr. Teplinsky is by far one of the best podcasts out there for all things breast, ovarian and all GYN cancers as well as survivorship in general. The guests are all very well spoken and are courageous in telling their stories. I feel I get something out of each one. Dr Teplinsky explores all aspects of cancer treatments- from the medical and latest treatments to emotional issues including survivorship and all the real questions cancer patients have while navigating each of our unique challenges. I look forward to listening each week. Thank you for all you do! Betty D.❤️🩹

ckosylaImportant, humanizing conversationsThere are so many statistics we hear about cancer patients, but we do not often hear their stories told from their perspective. Interlude is that place that allows patients to share the truth about their diagnosis and all the complex, far-reaching ripples such a life-changing event causes. I am grateful for medical providers like Dr. Teplinsky for giving patients agency and so much compassion!

JustRemyA Gem. Survivors, Family & Friends a Must ListenThese shared stories are what need. These are difficult conversations. This podcast shares individual truths, triumphs and honest vulnerability. Cancer is trauma regardless of the stage. Families go through this together. Most have no idea how to help, what to say and what support looks like. As a cancer thriver, I’m grateful for this podcast and the work she’s doing. Listen and Share.

Beagledad4A ‘Must Listen To’ for Couples Going Through CancerAs the husband of a breast cancer survivor, I found Dr. Teplinsky’s interview with the Marshalls very insightful, authentic, and ‘spot on’. It provided insights into what the Marshalls were both going through, what they shared with one another, and what they held back from saying until they published their book. Of particular interest was how Dr. Marshall grew as a physician as a result of being his wife’s caregiver. What struck me was what he said about some doctors not wanting to address him at visits because he was not the patient and only speaking directly to his wife. Caregivers play a critical role at doctor appointments … by taking notes, listening actively and asking questions; they are another set of ears for the patient who oftentimes don’t ‘hear’ everything. Plus, they can gain insight into how to provide better home care and support to their loved ones which is all an essential part of helping the patient. Special thanks to Dr. Teplinsky for hosting another engaging and informative interview designed to help patients and their loved ones navigate their journey.

LL WaikoloaMost informative podcast, I anxiously await her next oneI found Dr Teplinsky after an Instagram friend was on the Interlude podcast. I then started listening to every episode. These are so informative and helpful. Regardless of your cancer diagnosis, or stage you will find something helpful from each episode. There were episodes I didn’t think I would get much out of based on the title and BOY WAS I WRONG! There is info on cold capping, chemo, surgery, aromatase inhibitors, nutrition, exercise, depression etc. Since my breast cancer diagnosis 7 months ago I have looked for podcasts or books that help me through treatments and nothing comes close to Dr Teplinsky. I believe she truly cares about each person that hears the words “ you have cancer” this isn’t just a job for her, I believe it’s a passion to try to help us. I only wish I lived near her so she could be my oncologist. Please also follow her on Instagram @drteplinsky you will be so happy you did.

Poorvi DA must-listen for oncologistsThis podcast is so powerful! I think it helps providers better understand the lives of our patients and the treatments we commonly subject them to, their coping mechanisms and societal integration as they navigate life changed by cancer. By listening to the emotional complexities of cancer we are thrown into detailed stories of how patients do during active treatment and into survivorship. Just listening can help us pick up on ways we can reframe our thoughts and learn better ways to communicate with our patients. I also think this podcast is a great resource to direct our patients to if they need to hear from others going through (or who have gone through) similar life altering events. Additionally I am absolutely amazed by Dr. Teplinsky’s ability to do it all! As a young female oncologist it is SO nice to see trailblazing women in our field normalize this type of learning- the artistic, emotional side of medicine which can often times get lost during the rigid training we get comparing trials and memorizing tons of information. Thank you Dr. Teplinsky for this important work you are doing!

Galerkin7Chock full of inspiration and suggestions!Dr. Teplinsky is fully- immersed in her profession and goes well beyond in her hunger for disseminating the most accurate and current information for her patients and listeners. As a patient with breast Cancer, I want to bolster my immune system and nourish my body and mind in the best way I can without overloading on info. But, there is such a barrage of information you receive from friends, family, publications and survivors that your head could spin! Dr. Teplinsky does her research and confers with top physicians and nutritionists to be able to debunk the myths and distill what really will assist in overall healthy choices and decisions when it comes to food and supplementation. I highly recommend all these podcasts as they touch upon personal journeys and triumphs as well as challenges. A wonderful resource... thank you!

Dr Teplinsky’s interview style is approachable and thoughtful. oncsocialworkerFeels like you are talking with friendsThese stories are a must listen for any woman who is newly diagnosed, in the midst of treatment or post-treatment (and the people who love them). There is so much to learn by listening to the experiences of others and this podcast really brings that home.
