Kittymeow777The bread episode literally changed my life!!!Alex, I love your podcast but the bread episode with Sue Becker was a GAME CHANGER. I’m 28 and my husband is 34. We have four kids ages 5 and under (& we plan to have more and more kids, God willing!) but we were both plagued by back pain (and neck pain for me as well) to the point where we’d reach the end of the day and we could barely move! We had tried carnivore in the past and it totally worked, but as a baker I really missed being able to create in the kitchen and make cute, fun treats for my family. It always bothered us that Christ comes to us literally under the species of bread in the Eucharist and yet store bought bread/flour makes me feel awful!! Enter Sue and all of her wisdom and it all clicked into place. We bought a mill that same night, ordered some grain, and I have been baking with freshly milled flour ever since, resulting in a NEAR TOTAL REVERSAL of all my symptoms! I went from barely being able to turn my head to the left side to almost no pain, great sleep, and I’m eating bread with every meal! So excited to nourish myself and our family with bread the way God intended! May He bless you for sharing this information with us!

Stacy.35TornTorn about how I feel about this show. It fluctuates between being helpful to bordering on fear-mongering. The main message seems to be that no matter how hard you try, it’s not enough. “You bake your own organic sourdough bread? Well unless you’re milling your own wheat berries minutes before you make the bread you’re poisoning your family.” “You stopped using fluoride toothpaste and opted for a nontoxic hydroxyapatite tooth powder? Well unless you’re using my sponsored Zebra brand toothpaste you’re going to give your family cancer.” “You switched your dog’s kibble to fresh, gently cooked dog food? Well unless they’re on a raw food diet they’re going to live miserable, disease riddled lives.” She speaks like she has any idea about the struggles of marriage or infertility. Maybe I’ll change my mind about her in the future but will be taking a long break from listening right now.

lauren rose gothberg's iTunesAdded to the weekly cue!I have looooved listening to Alex Clark’s podcast! Her guests are insightful in so many different areas! I do have to beware to what I listen to because the red pill can be so hard to swallow! It’s so great to hear about lots of issues that aren’t talked about frequently and people’s solutions to all these modern health crises! Love that she has professionals in all sorts of disciplines come on! Plus she is hilarious! <3

kalieh8Jim ClementeLove so many episodes of yours but this one I didn’t want to miss a second of!!!

SarahDahliaBold and smartI’m so glad Alex had Aaron Kheriaty on. I’ve followed his work for years and he’s the rare doctor who also has a deep philosophical and theological training and it shows in how carefully he thinks about things. I’m sure this episode was hard for some to hear but I’m so glad Culture Apothecary tackled this stuff head on

Ohhey_marDisappointedReally disappointed with the most recent podcast on IVF. I really liked this podcast for its take on natural and homeopathic topics, and I thought this was a great educational tool. While medical ethics is important, episodes like that get lost in the overall mission of what you’re trying to achieve. Also the timing of this episode and one all about pregnancy four episodes in between each other was poor. I appreciate your insensitive auto response on IG.

xoCHARLESxoVery informative and fun podcast!I’ve loved Alex Clark since Poplitics and love the rebrand. As a working mom, this content is SO important to try and help all of us work towards better health for ourselves and family. Alex isn’t afraid to ask the tough questions and she has a great variety of guests!

Desiree0823The guest, topics & host… SO GOOD!I started listening to Alex Clark podcast because I saw she had Joel Salatin on and I HAD to listen. After that episode I’ve been hooked. Every guest she has on has so much good information that I walk away mind blown almost every single time. And many of the times they are Christian guest coming from a biblical foundation. So good. Can’t recommend this podcast enough!

MeganKBeamMy least favorite part…This podcast. I swear, my LEAST FAVORITE PART is when Alex says: “if you could provide one remedy to heal a sick culture….” And I get so mad because it’s right then when I realize IT’S OVER! Love this insight and topics. Keep it coming, Alex! You ask the best questions.

br68254Thank you Alex!It is truly impossible to express how much this podcast changed my life. I started listening to Alex after I had my baby last year when I started trying to work through challenges with breast milk supply and addressing my overall health. Her episode on homemade formula and many others have transformed my views on health and I have this confidence that I can make changes for the better and make the right decisions for my baby. This is a must listen for anyone who wants to become their best selves and arm themselves with information to make the right decisions for their family.

Mariivy18My favorite podI’m currently obsessed learning everything about health and this is one of the best podcasts to help with that. Alex is funny and real. Meghan MarshControversial topics with backed facts.I first found this podcast through the raw milk discussion and the topic of chemicals being sprayed on our crops. As an agriculturalist with an M.S. in Animal Science, I was intrigued—and because of the resources her guests provide, I’ve actually changed my opinion on a lot of things. I’m still very much pro-agriculture, but I’ve become more aware of the fact that we need to do better for our farmers—many of whom have been pigeonholed by government systems. I really appreciate that she brings on such a diverse group of individuals, and the majority of them reference resources so you can fact-check for yourself. It’s not just opinions being thrown around. I also love that her guests aren’t afraid to call out the flaws in our current system—they speak boldly, and that’s refreshing.

JesiGLove this show!Every guest is top notch! Love Alex as a host! Listen every week!

Flora’s ReviewsCulture Apothecary is truly a life-changing podcastAlex is an incredible host whose work I’ve admired since she launched Poplitics in 2019, and Culture Apothecary has only deepened that respect. This podcast is packed with valuable insights on health and wellness, and it’s helped me transform my lifestyle in powerful ways. One of the most impactful changes I made—thanks to Alex and her community—was quitting birth control pills. I had gained over 60 pounds while on them, and after quitting, I was finally able to shed that weight and feel like myself again. That alone was life-changing. Through the show, I’ve also discovered amazing clean-living products I wouldn’t have found otherwise, like Zebra’s deodorants, Cowboy Colostrum’s unflavored colostrum, Masa’s cobanero chips, Adel’s lip conditioner with hyaluronic acid, and Garnuu’s tampons. These kinds of recommendations have helped me make more informed, intentional choices about what I put in and on my body. I highly recommend Culture Apothecary to anyone looking to live a more organic, toxin-free life supported by high-quality foods and wellness products. It’s an empowering and inspiring listen every time.

HannahBelle0707MY FAVORITE PODCASTAlex is so genuine and so funny. Between her amazing personally and the topics she covers, this podcast is unmatched. I love that this podcast is all about HEALING a sick culture and exposing corruption. Not only does is it target mental and physical healing, it shares the TRUTH about spiritual healing and wholeness as well. Thankful I can listen to this podcast having peace that what I hear will honor the Lord. I FREAKIN LOVE YOU ALEX!
-
Supboo22MehThe host is good at interviewing, but she’s pretty unhinged and if you disagree with her, prepare for her wrath. Oh, also, she can do no wrong and is also never wrong. She really needs to work on herself rather than saying it’s just her personality and who she is. Considering she calls herself a Christian, she should know better and try better.
-
SRHHPALNGenuinely fun and interestingI’m not sure if I’ve ever reviewed a podcast before but I genuinely enjoy Alex’s podcast so much. At first glance I did not expect much, but she has surprised me at her competency & values. I love learning from all of the interesting guests and Alex is truly a fun, charming interviewer.

Jcardjr03Favorite podcastI love this podcast! All of the episodes are a perfect length and very informative. I catch myself retelling each episode to my husband at the end of the day. I also love the variety of episodes. There’s an episode that may resonate with everyone! All in all a great listen

Shane’s wellness journeyIntegral part of my wellness journey!I am certain that I don’t fit the typical demographic for this show, but I absolutely love it. I listen religiously (and I am an atheist) to this show on my daily walks. Alex is amazing and I love her energy, as well as her willingness to bring on guests she may disagree with on occasion. So much to learn. This is absolutely one of my favorite, if not my #1, podcasts and I listen to a lot of them.
-
Hola26Eye OpeningI love the variety that this podcast offers and I find valuable information in almost every episode because it covers so many topics I care about. As a woman struggling with infertility I have devoured all the episodes on this subject. The episode with Dr Karen Becker was incredibly eye opening and has prompted me to review my dog’s diet and care. Thank you Alex and keep up the good work!
