oheyheyArgentina dreaminWoke up in Denver to another spring snowstorm. Listening to the Argentina trip and the grilled meats, flowing fanta and unspoiled old school golf and thinking I should be there now. Thanks for sharing.

Maseman4Sound & VisionThe Sounds of the Masters pod was brilliant guys. What a way to experience Rory's win a second time. All-time favorite!
-
dcg19812007Sounds of the MastersThe Sounds of the Masters episode is simply the best podcast I have ever listened to.

JebJafTC is the Frankie of NLUI used to enjoy No Laying Up, but I just can’t listen anymore because of Tron Carter. The guy makes everything about himself, and it’s exhausting. Take a look at him on tonight’s 3rd round recap. What started as a great golf podcast with insightful takes has turned into a sideshow where TC dominates the conversation with his opinions, tangents, and forced humor. He reminds me of Frankie from Barstool—constantly trying to insert himself into the story instead of letting the content breathe. It’s frustrating because the rest of the crew brings solid analysis and good discussions, but TC derails it too often. I’m out.

NateSkurry1Pick a sideI don’t understand.. you dog Rory each tournament there’s always a what if. Then when he plays well you dog him again. Either be a full supporter or get off the train.

MarchibaldNLU Got Me Back Into GolfInsightful and funny. I stopped playing golf in high school because it was so stuffy, and this podcast was the catalyst for me playing again. Great cast of personalities on the show. Shout out KVV and the narrative podcasts.

JevomoneyLong-time listener pushed over the edgeYou guys have been incredible for years from your criticisms making real change in coverage to the to the greatest comradery I have found on the airwaves. The reason I’m leaving this review (a thing I have done only one other time to my memory) is because of, on top of all that, KVV’s narrative pods have been brilliant! They stand out and above almost everything else I listen to. I put them on the level of Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History. Thank you all for your work. P.S. Can’t wait for next year’s Scavenger Hunt and your Goals pod is the best piece of content you do in my opinion. For some reason I am also compelled to say, I go back and watch the Stapped: California episode 1 about every 4 months. The ending with Jon Prine’s ‘How Lucky’ playing gets me every single time. I appreciate what y’all do.

Dadford12I’m not crying. You’re crying.KVV’s piece on Calvin Peete is riveting! I’m crying in my car. I can’t let my wife see me like this. I’ll have to explain how a golf podcast wrecked me on the way home from dropping off our daughter at school. It’s ok though. I’ll get to share what I just heard, and one more person will know about the incredible existence of Calvin Peete. Thanks, and keep up the great work!

Trussell98Best Golf Podcast out there! An enjoyable listen every time….the guys clearly love the game and are true fans. The content keeps getting better and better ….like the tee time special projects and the majors deep-dives as just a couple of examples. Keep up the great work!

C CultonJoe “MF” MayoFirst time I’ve ever listened to a podcast and as soon as it was over I immediately restarted it and listened again.
-
CharliipresleyGood show. Just skip the ads.Funny that these guys are so pro-roll back but have no issues taking that Titleist money and going into ads about the “new” Pro-V1. Overall, Pretty enjoyable show once you skip the ads.
-
Megatron_DonGolf SpotlightI loved this episode, Had no clue TC and Neil were brothers and I’ve been listening for 2 years! Loved the backstory and the goals of a realistic golfer! Please continue to do more of these! Loved it !!!
-
Scotty0219Great JournalismEver since LIV-PGA Tour split happened I’ve slowly cared less about the week to week events from the tour but with the NLU deep dives and special projects it keeps everything fresh. The stories of golfers like the NYC guys trying to get bethpage tee times to the deep dives of majors/players keeps me reeled in. Nothing against the Valero and events like it but when NLU goes out of their way to make their own projects it’s much more interesting than what the tour can provide.
-
Tagg L.Great food deep dive!Loved the episode with Keith. So cool to hear what these guys like to do off the course.
-
JewelALGood for news/golf inside infoThe good: Good source for golf news, the guys can be funny/entertaining, and the interviews/deep dives are informative and interesting. When the guys are into a tournament it can be a great recap/banter. I especially enjoy how they do 4 live shows for majors/players which typically are the best episodes. The bad: These guys come across as casual golf fans sometimes or that they didn’t even watch the recent tournament. I get some PGA events are weak, but these guys usually have no interest in talking about golfers who aren’t the big names. They just will be like “why should I care about this event” which will kinda stink when you’re 5 minutes in and can tell the episode is gonna barely be about the recent tournament. I enjoy watching golf and talking about it, seems like it’s a chore sometimes for them. Also I would appreciate more DPWT/global golf conversation (again these guys don’t care unless an event has the big names) but I understand I may be in the minority there. Maybe they lost interest because they’ve been doing it so long, but seems like weekly recaps talk less and less about the tournament (unless it’s a signature event/major) and talk more about their personal games/endeavors. When the show is good and the guys are vibing/actually interested, it’s a great listen.

Andy1288Keeps getting betterCashmere Keith is living peak life on earth. Thank you for that episode
-
Ceejay75Used to be greatThis was once a great, insightful podcast into the world of golf from an outsiders view. They are now part of the golf establishment and it’s sad to see. I’ve tried to come back several times but, sadly I’m finally done.
-
Charlie3gcEpisode 935The criticism of former commissioner Samaan only comes out in force only after she is gone. Need more contemporaneous honest takes. Be willing to take the heat in the moment. Even if it damages relationships.
-
TopesWin!Stop the sapPlease stop these KVV sappy over-dramatic pods. It’s unlistenable. The banter between hosts is what got me hear. KVV solo is awful and awkward. For the love of God, stop.

RedSkyBurnsA test of character.I'm poorly educated but have a curious mind. Never went to college, never pranced around the ivy corridors. Niel.. Nel..? Hrmm, ah yes, Neil.. embodies everything that is trash in this sport. A shame that he seems to get a stronger grip on the reins each passing week. C'est la vie - middle fingers as I finally cut the cord.

KR-215E-9 segmentYou need to find a new name for the E-9 segment. Stealing it from Golf Subpar. Buschleague move
-
PlianthosYou probably need to be American to enjoy thisI was trying to get some insight into the president cup. Limited options out there. I could only stomach about 10min before I gave up.

002ALAMore Jordan Deep DivesLove the podcast, especially women’s golf coverage as well as men’s. Last episode on history of the Women’s Open was great and would love to hear more historical and other content from Jordan and others on the women’s game.
-
Lumbie 22LPGAExcellent episode but there probably needs to be an apology issued to Karen Stupples for not remembering that she started the final round of her Open Championship win: Eagle-Albatross on the first 2 holes…kind of a big deal.
-
ndoofusExpertsProbably played on their high school golf teams watched a lot of golf on TV now they are self proclaimed “experts“ foul mouthed punks
-
Dak365Voice golf NEEDSI’m a little shocked by some of the 1-2 star reviews from people who just don’t get it or totally misconstrue a conversation.. The guys don’t have to hold your same opinion on EVERYTHING lol
-
Jason ZackGolf Sponsorship 101Golf Sponsorships 101 was excellent. Would love to see a 201 or some other hybrid business interests episode during the off season. Would love to know the angle from the host club’s perspective for playoffs, majors, presidents cup etc…

Columbian9999A Great Golf Podcast to Geek OutI just found this podcast and it has become a go-to on the majors weeks. I love professional golf and I don’t have friends that are knowledgeable enough to get in the weeds. These guys are a collection of really sharp guys with great attention to detail, metaphors, jokes, nicknames, data, etc. Most importantly, the gloves are always off and they call it how they see it. I’ve started listening to them every evening for their summaries during majors. Phenomenal.
-
Rockyblue2000Sports washing worksKVV is a great addition. I am disappointed that the rest of crew have come to embrace LIV. To call out Sally Jenkins and her editorial on Bryson was shocking!
-
wmenrThe ShanksIncredible episode from KVV. Thoughtful and insightful about a taboo subject.
-
Guy201158A complaint about their complainingIt’s no doubt these guys are knowledgeable and offer great insight on players, courses, tournaments, etc. But my god they find a way to either hate on, complain, or whine about…players, courses, tournaments, etc. at every opportunity. It’s hard to listen to at times but informative and entertaining golf podcasts are hard to find so there’s no other option.

DMB1904Great LPGAThese guys actually take LPGA seriously. Its great. Marcoux did address KPMG coverage on Live from. Basically blamed the media 🤷♂️ keep up the good work!

dfsrookieAwesome golf podBest golf content there is
-
anuthabogeyPerformative?I watch golf to be entertained! Is Bryson that awesome that he can switch between authentic and inauthentic? Kind of a bonehead stance. Still yet, I enjoy the pod!
-
Brian5259Best golf pod out thereEvery host brings their own style and insight. Love the NLU boys. Tour D-riders for life!
-
BlakekporterThe first and best golf podcastIt’s truly a privilege to be a part of the NLU community and consume their content. They put out entertaining and thoughtful content for golf sickos and the quality of their work is constantly improving.

Noah C EricksonSaved my Golf Content LifeBefore No Laying Up, everything else in the golf contents space was complete garbage. This brand saved my golf life and many of my fellow breathren. I insistently consume this brand nonstop. Although it is not for everyone if you give enough time and go back to and listen to enough older episodes, you start to really like the podcast and know the participants better. Everyone who enjoys the pod should hop over to the trap draw and listen to the episode with Neil when he visits TAIII in Las Vegas. Array of Hosts Include: TC always brings the controversial hot takes, he’s not everyone’s cup of tea but he doesn’t go and conform to the consensus of the group making for good banter. Neil (TCs Younger Brother) - Cracks me up. Randy is the voice of reason and someone who has general appeal to the masses, the “Everyman” of the show. DJ and Cody are OK and play the “role player” personas to perfection. Soly (main host) has gotten much better over the years, but sometimes I miss the little flare for not doing this so professionally, but he has good questions and insight and really knows golf. He knows golf statistics as well, but he could possibly describe those statistics (and what they mean) when bantering to give the audience a better idea. Lastly, KVV, gives the podcast journalistic integrity and he’s very well informed and a fantastic writer. His piece on Victor Hovland is fantastic, he really captures the essence of, Joe Mayo - a golf coach that approaches the game a different way and a coach who doesn’t normally do interviews. If you’re looking for your standard PGA Tour Fluffer podcast, this is not the place for you, if you want to hear somebody talk about the real issues that affect golf, subscribe and listen. If on the golf course if you find yourself consistently falling behind or other groups playing through, this is not the show for you. Some of my Favorite Podcasts over the Years 1. 2018 - Rory (2 Part) 2. Circa 2017 /18 Jason Dufner, interesting guy 3. Club Pro Guy circa 2018 or 19 4. 2021 or 22 Patrick Cantlay 5. 2016 Ryder Cup Pods

Wolf CooperNeed to be left behindThese guys are all that is wrong with the golf media, totally unable to see any other perspective than their own because in their eyes they can’t possibly be wrong.
-
iStevenRobinsonAbsolute clownsI used to be a fan of the podcast but these guys are absolute clowns now. Constantly play favorites with the players they are friends with and dump on everyone else and most courses outside of the ones that butter their bread. TC is the biggest violator of this. Can’t even give Xander his due credit after winning the PGA. Instead, pouts like a little baby during the Sunday recap pod. Also, a PGA Tour player who they picked on for years (Grayson Murray) tragically passes away and they can’t be bothered to do more than 2 minutes on it. TC literally didn’t even comment on it. If it were a LPGA player they would’ve done a whole month of podcasts on it. I’m tired of them playing favorites and their arrogant attitudes. Moving on from this clown show.
-
NTP84No Laying Up reviewEasily the best golf podcast available. The No Laying Up guys provide insightful information about both pro and amateur golf, they get great interviews with people involved in different aspects of golf( players, course designers, caddies, golf media members, commissioners of both the lpga and pga tours and many others) And their travel series and original content is just fantastic.
-
WaywardKidPod Would Be Vastly BetterThe show has good insights but would be much improved by dropping one of the regular participants. Unfortunately you guys are like giving 5 shots a side by including “tc” ion the show.
-
Peter Guillam“Lotta Hos…”… “at the top,” per TC on April 9. Of course. Yipsy’s at Augusta! We’ve got Waffle House Hos. Bar Hos. Diner Hos. Truck stop Hos. Would anyone be surprised if Yipsie’s Mama was/is a Ho? The Dixie deregulated free market excels at “a tournament like any other.” *** “It did not even sound fun,” Solly on his daddy, Yipsy, walking off the 18th on Sunday. Disagree. That moment was hilarious. An 82-77 weekend. And 60th out of 60. Complete humiliation. And all of it self-inflicted. May it happen annually for the next 25 years at “a tournament unlike any other.”
-
Colorado-MoeAwesome podcastSimply the best golf podcast hands down.
-
EnricoPalazzo19Fun podEnjoy the show, love the tournament recaps. Only complaint is the over use of player nicknames. We know you’re cool, we know you follow pro golf. At times I have no idea who you’re talking about.

Curtis Luck is a girlTrending downThe podcast was so much better before KVV. That dude is insufferable! Stop talking
