Loquita08More please!I’m still working through the back catalogue, but I’m worried about running out!

KeabelObsessedI just discovered this podcast and I cannot stop listening. It’s so interesting, funny, and entertaining. Thank you for doing this wonderful and important work!!!
-
rebekahlongoriaUgh, so GOOD!This podcast is an absolute treat! I just stumbled upon it when I was looking to learn more about Hilma af Klint, and now I am hooked! I can’t wait to listen to more!

Kai3200My Fave PodI love this podcast- it’s the place I go when I want to learn, when I need a good chuckle, and when I need a pick me up. Thank you for all that you do! Ps. Have you considered doing Artemisia Gentileschi? She was a famous female artist who studied under Caravaggio. She was also sexually assaulted and was one of few women who - in part due to the urging of her father - brought her accuser to court. Fascinating, and one of my absolute favorite painters.

cheerpod95Amazing topics and surprises!!I love this podcast so much! The stories are so interesting and so far (I’m only on episode 10) most of the women I have never heard of. A side note, I’m currently listening to the Anne Bonny episode and I got so excited over it because it’s the first deviant woman that I knew of! I did a research project on her in elementary school and at first I was like, “This can’t be the pirate Anne Bonny can it???” and then I flipped when it was revealed it was! It really made my day.

Aneded10/10This is an absolutely fantastic podcast, wondering if there’s going to be an episode on Julie d’Aubigny one day, I’d love to see one.

ELBautzeCan’t get enoughI’m a new listener and am having the best time playing catch-up. I usually avoid podcasts at all costs but this one has me taking my headphones everywhere with me. Keep going, please!

I'm a 16 year old girl.Favorite podcastNew listener. Love.

PodcastCommuterRight idea, wrong summaryGreat selections for role models. Lame conclusions. My 13 year old daughter is looking for inspiration, all you give her is the patriarchy as an excuse for low self-esteem. 150,000 years to get to germ theory dismissed by “ dirty doctor hands?” Come on, you want young girls to look at their dads as illegitimate by genotype? Nice work.

Amanda from LJFantasticReally love these women!

lovefromhawaiiFascinating and novelI haven’t been able to stop listening. It’s really great to learn about history from a women’s perspective, presented by intelligent and educated hosts. The history that is taught in schools is incredibly one-sided and exclusive to men; inclusive history is something everyone should seek out. I especially enjoy the interpretations and thoughtful inputs given by the hosts. Very glad this exists!

Ravenclawgirl29Love, love, loveFunny, informative, and witty. Alyssia and Lauren work really well off each other. I do hope they do Joan of Arc some time soon, also, an episode on themselves as deviant women of the 21st century podcasters!

Ligash22Can’t Get EnoughThis is a podcast for anyone interested in under-told but incredible stories from history and myth. The hosts strike a great tone: fun, inspirational, considerate. I wake up most mornings singing the theme song...

MWilczewskiDelicious DevianceLove, love, love this podcast! The hosts are so engaging and really delve into some deliciously deviant women , capturing nuances and varied perspectives. Thank you!

MarshmalohgrrlLively and FunI love listening to these lovely ladies discussing the kickass women of history who absolutely refuse to take their "station" lying down. They fight, they cross boundaries and they keep the movement going rather they intended to or not. The podcasters are friendly and funny and refreshing. I never tire of listening to them tell the stories and their interviews are always interesting. They're definitely worth a listen.
-
cee1188Love these ladies.Interesting subjects - I’m a sucker for the history and folklore/mythology - explored. By two smart and funny women!

DTRichardsonSquad GoalsNo exaggeration--Deviant Women is my favorite podcast. I recommend it to all my friends. I adore these women and wish very much Australia was not so far away because I would love to have happy hour on the regular with these brilliant, witty, feminist academics. I have learned so much about so many cool women thanks to this podcast. I can't wait to dive into Season 2!
-
Mutha HoneyFantasticI love this podcast! Deviant women throughout history deserve our honor, the adorable hosts do so in a super fun and approachable way. The deviant women they have discussed so far are amazing badasses and I am so glad I know their stories! Thanks, Ladies!

SyrusSpysOne of my favorite women led history podcasts! This podcast is amazing! When I first found it there was only four episodes, and I listened to them all everywhere I went. Every new podcast episode brings absolute joy to me! I adored the mini-sodes on The handmaids tale, which though I have read the book, which I encountered on a blind date with a book event at my library, in which books where wrapped in brown paper with words related to the contents within displayed, and I fell in love with it. I love learning about all the characters and historical women, most of whom I have never heard of, and it really is a shame! I eagerly await every new episode, hoping to find a new role model in breaking the norms and doing what you love. Thank you so much for an amazing podcast experience!!
-
irocnwadSo great!!!This is my favorite podcast right now. The ladies are amazing and smart and funny. Looking forward to more episodes

TracyMSPWitty women nailing difficult task of female banter!Excellent breaking the glass ceiling! Too often women hosts are too serious or too giggly to be taken seriously; not these two, they are natural, brilliant, relatable funny & knowledgeable with cool Australian accents. I learn new & interesting things in every episode. Once I discovered Deviant Women, I listen to one episode, then two, then started at episode 1 and binged listened to current date. Don't change a thing! Listeners will come.

Spirit_AtlasWomen ROCKWhen I first read the name of the pod, I just knew I had to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised at how fun these ladies are to listen to and how passionate they are on this delightful bada$$ subject matter. After every episode I always feel I could conquer the world.
-
RachyPhillyWOW! A Must Listen for Anyone Interested in Women's StudiesThese women are SMART. I absolutely love the ways that they explain, discuss, and analyze the lives of the women they discuss in each episode. They really make you think. I was not familiar with many of the women they discuss, but I still found their stories fascinating. My only suggestion is that they could include sources so we can continue to learn about these women on our own!
-
kdwinchesterDelightfully DeviantLove these women discussing unruly and difficult women throughout history. The hosts are simultaneously knowledgeable and entertaining. One woman at a time, this podcast does its part to correct how women's stories have been erased throughout history. Just the nerdiest, feminist historical podcast out there.
-
NsnsnsnsnsnsnsnsnsnsFun, witty, wonderful podcast about womenThese ladies kill it. They are crushing these episodes and have become one of the podcasts I anxiously await. Their discussion is insightful and engaging and I have FUN listening to these women tell me stories of women who refused to be confined and conformed. These unruly women weave wonderful (alliteration ftw) tales of people I want to know about. If you're a deviant woman (or just find them fascinating) CHECK THIS PODCAST OUT!
