I’ve lived off of this series for weeks now and have finished listening to the last one! Elizabeth’s amazing kindness and generosity of spirit shines through so brightly, and I call it “Healthy content for the heart and soul.”

I’ve listened to the Big Magic audiobook I couldn’t even count how many times. I have just discovered this podcast and am savoring every one. Thank you Liz!!! You’re amazing.

The only podcast I keep coming back to. I could listen to each episode 1000x over and still never get enough. Liz you are who I turn to when the light has dimmed in myself. Forever grateful.

Let’s put away childish ways of thinking and do the creative work that is in us to do. We’ll be okay.

Thank you SO much. I read your book and now I’m listening to you. I’ve been in a struggle with creating art for basically my whole life. I love it, I’m drawn to it, but I hate it and fear it. I’m constantly called to it, but I avoid it, and want it… Such complex feelings!!! Now I’m finding courage and a deeper understanding for what “I” want to create vs. what I’m good at creating or what others want me to create. I just really appreciate you as an author and also for being here on this podcast to support and encourage people like me.

I absolutely love this podcast and am so sad Elizabeth Gilbert stopped doing these, but they have been extremely therapeutic and encouraging in so many ways. It’s inspired me to finally do what’s been in my heart but I always come back when I need another nudge :) Liz, if you read these, please continue podcasting!!

I’m listening about the troll and Brene’s woman come to her defense, which fight of all I LOVE. But I always go back to the Buddhist belief of compassion first when someone has done us wrong. Men/women we are all humans. I’m a mother of boys, I’m doing my part to raise men to be equal humans with women. Those men were not ever taught to be human, only men. Let’s change our next generation to be one!! ❤️

I wanted to listen to some creative love and being called into “seeing and hearing” as opposed to “being seen and heard”. And I got it.... The young poet Cecilia (interestingly the Patron Saint of Musicians) is a true gift. She faced her pain of rejection and in doing so, became a beacon of light to me, and I’m sure many others listening. Thankyou for being a stand in the wonder of no agreement and what’s possible. And your mentor poet, Marc Nepo was a breath of fresh and wise air

I loved listening to each episode and have re-listened to a few of them more than twice! (The Brene Brown episode and the Glennon Doyle ones are my favs!!) I found this podcast as I was finishing my first book...I was so nervous about putting my ideas out in the world. Hearing Liz’s encouraging words helped me to bring my own heart forth to give birth to my book. It is like having that genius she describes in Big Magic call you forth to create your life’s work. ❤️Thank you, Liz!!

I really want to listen to this podcast, but Elizabeth’s laughter after every sentence she says just kills it for me. I know it’s not a very constructive criticism, and I love her books, and I know she (and all of us) should laugh a lot more every day, but girl.... maybe it doesn’t sound very genuine?

Huge fan of all things Liz Gilbert! This podcast was inspiring and affirming. Really wish there would be more seasons.

This was an incredible production, and I’m so grateful that Elizabeth chose to do two seasons. To have the before and after interviews for each person really shows both the obstacles to creativity, and troubleshooting for solutions. Elizabeth chose great guest mentors for each person, and she herself was the perfect blend of encouragement and tough love. These are worth re-listening!

Elizabeth. My heart is warm. My spirit inspired and ignited and curious. Tears are selling up. I have so much gratitude in my whole body. My fingers can barely type these words. Thank you for your generosity, kindness, courage. I love your work.

This podcast came into my life at the perfect time and seemed to smash my creative blocks to bits in a funny, authentic and powerful way. Maybe it’s not for everyone but maybe you’re not ready for it. Each episode was like a whisper in my ear, a tap on the shoulder or a smack on the head saying - this is for you so listen up. I’ve listened to several episodes multiple times over. I hope she restarts the series. And if not, thank you regardless for your generous, creative, inspiring spirit. I am grateful.

Elizabeth Gilbert is a big, hardworking genius who is not afraid to be vulnerable. I love this in her books and love this in her podcast. I spend a of time wondering what her MBTI and Enneagram types are. I am going to guess ENFJ and 4. In these dark times, the world needs more of Elizabeth Gilbert and of people like her!
