bdh23Good content but annoying attitudeI want to love this podcast. I’m a die hard Tigers fan, love the deep dive minor league content, and the hosts are well informed. But it can often just be too painful to listen to. The biggest problem is the host’s incessant whining about Tigers fans. In particular, the host’s repeated use of his “dumb guy” voice to state the dumb fan strawman opinions, is insufferable. If they’d just stop spending half of their time ripping every random twitter user who says something they don’t agree with (and drop the mid-sentence tangents and awkward and poorly done production drops, while we’re at it), this would be a must listen for Tigers fans instead of something too annoying to stick with.

RuAlanContent is good, but *please* improve audio qualitySeems like edits are made almost at random - lots and lots of partial words. Maybe this is a factor of speakers leaning away from the mic, not sure, but it’s a very tough listen. Which is a shame because the content is usually quite good. And one last thing: s-l-o-wwwwww d-o-wwwwww-n a bit, guys. You’ll sound more authoritative and your thoughts will stay ahead of your mouth; a win-win. You’ll like it.

jobus rumUnmedicated ADDTakes a lot of effort to decipher the host. Struggles to speak and smears unrelated thoughts into an aggravating word salad. Squirrel!! Tigers baseball is my favorite topic, but bro, write yourself a show outline.

GoBlue2012No complete thoughtsI really want to give this show a higher rating but the hosts borderline inability to speak in complete thoughts renders it nearly unlistenable. The primary host speaks in half thoughts and pauses mid-sentence every single time. THIS IS UNBEARABLE! Also his fake voice to imitate the “average Tigers fan” is extremely stupid. This wouldn’t be a problem though if the hosts did not speak in half thoughts. And it’s not like this is their first time on podcast or radio. This show has been going on for multiple years and the primary host is even on the radio.

Cash361Good exceptThis podcast does a good job of analyzing the Tigers. But I am beyond tired at the moderator constantly going into a mock voice when he wants to represent the average know nothing tiger fan. It’s not funny. It’s not analytical. It’s annoying and needs to stop. It undercuts their professionalism..

nyfilmgoerBarely TolerableVery little meaningful baseball talk, poorly produced, annoying and meaningless sound effects, their “good bad and the ugly” segment is by design very negative, their “behind the numbers” segment is random, would not listen at all we’re I not a huge Tigers fan. You can listen for the first half hour and hear only a few minutes of insightful baseball talk. It’s a shame because they are very knowledgeable, care about the team and the game, and know a lot about the minors. Such a waste.

baseballispunishmentBest Detroit Tigers PodcastI am a loyal and long-time listener. I am a personal friend of one of the hosts, so maybe I am biased. I have been liiving in Chicago for the past 9 yeas and really appreciate the candid and insightful discussions about my lousy Tigers. I do have some suggestions though... The drops are either too loud or too soft, and often times, awkwardly timed. Maybe tighten that up or do away with it. Commectial come unannounced right in the middle of someone speaking. There are cool segments and nice bumpers for them, but often times also awkwardly timed, Maybe introduce the segment first, so everyone is ready and done talking and then play the bumper. Also fade down the bumpers because as of now they end abruptly and it sounds awkward. I only say this because I know a ton of work goes into this podcast and that some members of the team are trying to do this for a living. They have come a long way, but it still has a DIY vibe that wouldn't be a problem if that's what they were going for. Tighten it up and the sky is the limit. I put is up there with Ballpark Dimensions... the best national baseball podcast IMO. So to counclude. Even out the audio on the drops and bumpers. Announce segments and commercials before they happen and keep up the great work! Eat Em Up!

Having No Kids is AwesomeWill Keep ListeningI’m happy there is something to listen to about the Tigers but these guys need to not mumble and do a lot of ah’s. It seems they are little cluttered and if they streamlined it would be even better.

DrD_NyCGetting better and betterGuys at motor city bengals are working hard (for love not money)and putting out more and more interesting content. Worth a read and listen for any Tigers fan IMO. Update. Move of Rog to Woodward sports is making the podcast even better as they have more resources for travel and better sound. Check out sister podcast Tigers Minor League report. No one has a better minor league podcast

Kyle WalnyMy Detroit Tigers TherapyBy far the best Tigers podcast out there and the best source for Tigers content. Ive been following Chris and Rog on Twitter for a while and they really know their stuff. It’s also nice to listen to them air the same grievances about one of the most frustrating organizations in baseball so that i don’t feel like I’m losing my mind. Great stuff, guys!

mansfiemGreat fun!I’m terrible at leaving reviews. Even when I find myself looking forward to something with anticipation, I seldom take the time necessary to acknowledge and give appreciation. As I’ve listened to Chris, Roger, and whoever they have as a guest, I feel like I’m eavesdropping on a conversation with friends. I look forward to future shows and growth from two people inspired on a topic dear to me. Thank you for your efforts. It’s much appreciated.

IndianasniffRealistic Tiger TalkI like that there is an outlet that I can find guys that talk Tigers outside of the team company line. They get to a lot of minor league games and speak intelligently about what they see. Makes me want to go to more TinCaps games and learn about talent evaluation for something I can do when I retire. Go Tigers

Brettyoder1234Great!Started following these guys on Twitter this season and go into the podcast as well. Love how they balance their analysis between the minors and the major league team. Really insightful each week. Helps me get through the rebuild.

Guitarwhiz23Constant Audio issues make unlistenableFirst, I like both of the guys that do this podcast, and I think their approach and topics of discussion are the best available. I will say there is constant discrepancies between the audio levels for the two main contributors, that make this podcast impossible to listen to if you are driving. I hope they figure it out as it would improve their product greatly.
