EricaCraigAThe BEST!I’ve listened to a lot of true crime podcasts and I could never really get into them until I discovered Annie! I literally get so excited when a new episode drops and I subscribed shortly after discovering her! Thank you Annie for making my days better ❤️🙌🏼

mcav_619Wish it was on more often! Re:Austin,TXRegarding your most recent episode about ladybird lake in Austin, TX - my first instinct led me to believe it’s a bartender drugging these guys. Someone in that position would be the least suspected and have the easiest access to drinks. No one has reported anyone tampering with their drink or having someone suspicious hovering around. Makes ya say hmmmm

senditalready!Love it!Love this podcast!! Annie Elise is seriously awesome! She says stuff I say allll the time lol. Kinda like hanging w my bestie talking trash about trash humans 🤷🏻♀️ if you can call telling the truth talking trash

YelaheenerGreat podcast, often too graphicGreat podcast, but often it’s too graphic and sensational. I like that you include original audio clips from trials, police calls, etc. which makes the retelling feel so real and reminds us that these are real people’s lives, not just stories. I appreciate your casual and honest reactions. And thanks for categorizing episodes as headline highlights or deep dives! However, all the graphic details often leave me feeling physically ill after listening. I believe these stories can be told more respectfully without further exploiting the victims and “glorifying” the horrible acts.

TruHorrorLoverRainey street deathsI am born and raised Austin native and just my opinion is that there’s got to be something more than these all being accidental. My fiance and I think it’s also possible that the sudden appearance of females also being found makes us think that if someone is doing this to people it may be an attempt to throw people off by changing their m.o. How can someone rationalize SO many people “accidentally” falling into the water and nobody sees that happen they don’t call for help nothing is noticed until much later. It just doesn’t make sense
-
blessedismandySerialouslyAnnie gives us the truth behind the horrible things that happens to people in their worst moments. I enjoy it very much!!
-
Dave’s dragonsNo talentThis podcast spends more time on ad revenue than research and crime solving. This is the weakest true crime podcast out there. Annie reads a script written and researched by her underpaid staff.
-
beepbeep6My true crime bestie!I absolutely love Annie! She has the best show! I feel like we are so alike! She has a true heart and cares for all the victims that she talks about!

mikestayhumbleCal Farley boy ranch ad??Thought we were over the troubled teen industry
-
calliemac50scEhhhIt takes a really long time for her to get started and get to the point and there is a lot of profanity. Also, all of the products that she reviews are “game changers” you can make a drinking game out of that
-
ronnie1122258Great podI’ve been listening to AE for years, starting on YouTube. She can tell a story! The only thing i don’t like is her intros can go waaaaaayyyy off topic and rambling, it drives me crazy. It takes her so long to get to the point so i end up fast forwarding 85% of her intro. Other than that, it’s great!

Lucky MandoGreat podcastAmazing podcast! Love your narratives!!!

MaryAlisabethFallon FarinacciI’ve been listening to Annie for the last few years and I absolutely love the way she tells true crime stories. However, this episode was different. It was beautifully told by Fallon and I don’t even know how to put into words how impactful it was to hear this story from someone who experienced it. Annie, thank you for giving Fallon a platform to share her story. Fallon, thank you for sharing. I cannot say enough good things about this podcast.
-
Ashleeyniicole12Absolutely love Annie EliseAnnie is always accurate and respectful of the victim’s and their stories. She seems like such a good person.

peter_maniaToo much bad quality recordings you can’t hearSorry Annie. I do like you and enjoy listening to you but I just can’t deal with 30 minutes of bad audio recordings. I would rather you just give us cliffnotes on the recordings. I just can’t do it anymore. It’s me, not you.
-
Sal5601Seriously Great PodcastI have been listening to Annie Elise for several years. 1st she is always professional and informative. She does her fact checks and is respectful of victims.
-

Nicole_419The Fallon EpisodeWow, this ep was POWERFUL. I don’t typically prefer episodes with a guest (unless it’s Amy), but holy moly, this was such an incredible story. The story was best coming from her; you were right Annie. What resilience this woman has; it was inspiring. I’ve lost my in-laws and my parents in the last 2 years (in relatively tragic manners), and my birthday is different now too. So it was interesting hearing Fallon say that also. Thank you both for sharing Fallon’s story with such care and respect.

Thom12343Sorry. Done.Have a problem with some of the ads, but as soon as she said she partnered with Amazon to do an event, I’m out. Don’t cross the picket lines.

CAW8ZAAnnie’s Own Personal Echo ChamberThe only thing listeners can learn from Annie Elise is that a jury trial is almost always the worst choice to make. Annie, like many other true crime podcasters is the prototype is the quintessential jurors. She talks ignorantly/out of the side of her neck about legal terms and concepts she fails to understand (e.g., on her 3/20 episode she tried to make a point about someone being a flight risk because they posted 30k in cash for bond, falsely stating that bond can only be posted in cash). She also goes on this personal rants with this same fundamentally flawed logic—lucky for her, these aren’t actual conversations with individuals who have actual knowledge of the law and cases she is “covering.” Annie claims to have a team—what are they helping her do? Clear just market merch and monetize her content. I appreciate when podcasts actually provided informational content, leaned on experts for better understanding that hosts were not qualified to opine on. But everyone — here, Annie Elise — wants to be Sally Jesse Raphael, to their own voices with smug pride, to center themselves in stories that aren’t their own, to have “their own” fans. They are not working to shed light on the issues at hand or lay bare the complexities of crime in society, no matter the workshopped lines they feed you or emblazon on their merch. Everyone wants a vanity project these days, and there’s apparently still an appetite for this drivel. There are much better, truly informational and transformative true crime podcasts and long form news story serials out there. This ain’t it.

Chelsea RothellKevin FrankeI’m gonna have to disagree about Kevin, Ruby is a master manipulator. People forget men can be victims too. He is also a victim in this. As are the neighbors. People were traumatized by this women. It just sick.

IdraygoLETHALITY ASSESSMENTS save livesHi Annie, using your personal experience was very relatable. It resonated so much with my past. I hold a bachelors in criminal justice now and found the domestic violence courses the most interesting. Im wondering if you’d ever wanna talk about statistics and something super interesting called a “lethality assessment” used for domestic violence victims. 🖤🖤

Chrissy’s adopted mommyWhitney voiced & too RepetitiveDefinitely whiney voice and dreadfully repetitive. If she says ‘it’s just my opinion…’ or ‘… this is just what I think…’ well duh- it’s her podcast and all in a voice that sounds like a combo of chalk squeaking on a chalkboard and a 9 year old speaking way too fast. This is the first of Annie Elise’s podcasts I’ve listened to and most likely the last no matter how interesting the subject sounds like it would be.
-
The Passenger444So fun!Annie Elise tells a crime story (or any story!) like no other. It’s produced and edited in that way which doesn’t leave room for pregnant pauses. It’s this: “Let’s not waste each other’s time,”told in a very cool vibe.

A406BKevin FrankeThank you for saying what someone on that recent doc should have said! I couldn’t even finish watching it because I wanted to yell at the screen. So I listened to your podcast instead! So much better.

LaEllyMoLove itLove this podcast. I follow her on IG as well. Seems like such a great person. However it is upsetting that these days every episode is “subscribers only”. Would love more content for us who can’t afford the subscription right now.

beety booKevin FrankieI agree 10000% with you Annie. The guy is scum. He got away with child abuse. You are just as guilty when you see the abuse and not do something as the abuser. Those are his children and he’s zero protected them until everybody went against Ruby. I bet anything if she gets out and wants to get back with him, he’ll scurry back to her like a little rat he is. I hope none of his kids ever forgive him. He’s disgusting and pathetic.
-
CCC GurlKevin seems obsessed with Rubyafter hearing the bigger pic on Kevin sounds like he is a patsy to do whatever his wife wanted. No back bone. He had no problem standing up to his daughter taking his laptop, no problem standing up to the police re: laptop even after he found out what had been done to his kids.I think Ruby brainwashed and pistol whipped him too. I’m wondering what his parenting was like. Good job Annie!Shari is a hero, and very bright beautiful person. I hope Kevin does better moving forward.

mataylor74More Franke? Is it possible to talk about something other than then the Franke’s? Every other episode is about these idiots and now we’ve got another hour+ “deep dive” into the exact same stuff. Skipping this episode and about to unsubscribe.
-
UserUserUserUser4This is a Ruby Franke podcastTime to admit that you may be obsessed with Ruby Franke. Seriously, how many episodes have been devoted to this case? I believe you have previously concealed the names of the minors involved, but the 3/10/2025 freely uses their names. Pretty much every journalist and podcaster has been censoring their names, but not AE. You also misused the term “checks and balances” at least twice. I’m really trying to keep this pod in my rotation, but enough of the Frankes already.

Momma carmsLove herI feel as though… her and me would legit be best friends. I love the way she tells these stories and she makes me laugh. Annie is a beautiful person… ❤️

Tonya CheneyHi from Santa Ana, OCWhen I sit and listen to this podcast, I really do feel like I’m having a conversation with a friend. I love that you give your opinions and call people out for how despicable they are. I love that you’re a fast talker and yet you speak so clearly!

JenyogagalMy favorite True Crime listen!I enjoy this show so much. I love Annie Elise, she’s super real and authentic. She picks intriguing cases and is passionate about getting the facts right (although PLEASE do Rebecca Zahau why will no one cover this?! It’s a wild one!). I also appreciate SO much that she doesn’t virtue signal and get political like most other shows have, and have lost me as a listener honestly because of it. Some of us listen here to get away or take a break from the news shoved at us everyday. Anyways! Keep it goin sista and please come back to San Diego on your next tour! Ps LOVE when you do super long episodes aka the deep dives they’re my favorite to walk to dog to :)
-
Court6921Case recI have been listening to Annie from basically day one. I love my true crime bestie! (Annie since you love cults please do a deep dive on Kibbi Linga!
