IGN ManagerFraudMuch better sources for everything Michigan Football than this.
-
Anunen10Jansen is a wolf in sheep’s clothing…Selling out for ratings on his radio show to stay in lock step with the station. He should be ashamed.
-
grandma dog56Review MGoBluePodcastAs an ex Wolverine, Jon Jansen knows the program and the college game as well as anyone. Nice to hear a podcast that has so much access to actual interviews with the players and coaches.
-

Dschuetz1Terrific!Jon Janson is just terrific! Great, great perspective! Very positive! Very enthusiastic! Very pro-Blue! Love his enthusiasm and his “can-do” attitude, especially versus O-:-:-1-0! Brian Boesch is a terrific host and has a lovely rapport with Mr. Janson!
-
PoparoodledoA Maize ing. This podcast literally keeps getting better and better. John Jansen’s passion fir his Alma Mater is contagious. Love listening to every episode, but especially after a Michigan victory

GroovyappOne of the best UM sports podcastsIt’s refreshing to listen to a podcast that doesn’t dwell on the negative. Both Jon and Brian report on all the great things going on at the university and there are a lot of positive stories to be shared. Both hosts are well connected and so they can attract current players as well as past and future ones. They do an exceptional job of keeping UM fans up to speed on the latest in CFB and Hoops. Kudos and thanks!

GregBeilSad for America’s SoldiersIn their discussion about what their plans were for Memorial Day weekend, not one comment about what the holiday is for - setting aside time to remember the sacrifices made for our nation. Shame on them.
-
bjk1994Good but biasedIt’s a good podcast to hear about the players for both football and basketball that are rarely talked about. It’s produced by the athletic department so it’s definitely biased and doesn’t really give a true analysis of the team. The interviews ask pretty basic and softball questions. I do like the new segments talking with the play-by-play guys for Michigan’s opponents for both basketball and football and learning more about those teams
-
Queen of the OCGymnasticsWhat an eye opening episode, the work and the disruption the team is going through for the NCAAs. 〽️💙
-
Goblue1966Defend the BlockGreat coverage and insight from Brian and Terry - keep it up. Go Blue!

KK is taken but KK ha!Fake newsWhen I started listening a couple of years ago I liked the insight and started to believe the team was going to be a national contender again. All I heard was were looking good and we’re doing great and these recruits are going to be great...Fake news! I can no longer listen to one thing and then see what they do on the field.
-
Snoop T SaadDefend the BlockVery much enjoy this podcast. Brian Boesch is an excellent host, love the questions (especially those about teammates and the like). Easy flow, great stuff, keep it up. Go Blue!
-
NvyFlyerLittle too sugar coatedLove the insight. Jon is an amazing spirit, helluva player and fantastic Michigan Man, but this podcast feels like an official MGOBlue production. Need some more objectivity and less coddling and softball questions aimed at the coaching staff.
-
mypieceThings like thatReally glad to have him on the team, and I know he said himself that he’s an introvert, but my goodness, Chaundee Brown must have said “things like that” over THIRTY times in that interview! Maybe he wasn’t interviewed much at Wake...

Dudley 32The Brian Griese InterviewI just wanted to pass along that I really enjoyed the Brian Griese interview. This was the first time listening to the podcast, as I’m looking for other things to pass the time but it definitely will not be the last time, great job! It brought me back to each of the games in the ‘97 season which was amazing and in a time of uncertainty and craziness, it was nice to think about happy times and the great Michigan team of ‘97. Thanks again and keep up the great work Jon. Go Blue 〽️ Gary D.
-
JeffMacGSydneyGreat to listen to from all over the worldThanks for the great content Jon! Living over in Australia, it can be tough to get my Michigan football fix, but you’ve done a great job keeping UM alums all over the world up to speed on all things Wolverine football. Looking forward to hearing from Griese. Would love to hear from Glen Steele, Dhani Jones, or Charles Woodson on current defense and what they could do better.
-
themaizeandblueThe best podcast!Hi, John can you try to do a video with Tom Brady please!
-
Bubba7774Is this where we ask Questions?Hey It’s Bubba Two Questions 1). What was your favorite Game as a Wolverine? 2). Funniest Thing that happened in the locker in while you played at Michigan?
-
hatethewebFor UM Football FansTo call Jon Janson a homer would be an understatement, but if you like the Wolverines he is a homer you should listen to. His analyses are always insightful even when he must criticize his favorite team, and his position with Michigan means he has access to guests and information that few other UM focused podcasters can draw on.
-
mrwhit's IphoneBacon RollIf you’re interested check out the song My Bacon Roll by Mark Knopfler! It doesn’t mention the tasty delicious pork heaven you both discuss but thought a song with BACON in the name is worth a listen...
-
FUmsuLove the show.Would you rather You are broke and need a job, would you Rather be the offensive line coach at Ohio State or Michigan state
-
CamoCablamoGreat for the Michigan and Bacon FanLove the podcast. Great insight from a former incredible player in Jon Jansen, and the banter back and forth is often hilarious. No bacon fact here, but would you rather fight one Nico Collins-sized duck, or fight ten duck-sized Nico Collins’?
-
Blue on the Fligjt DeckAwesome Bacon and BallThis PODCAST was one of the highlights of my deployment. Downloading the episodes in our port stops and listening to Mr. Jon Jansen was amazing. I would like to hear some critique and how the coaches address short falls. I’ve heard on other PODs that our D-Line technique is why we failed to stop OSU run game. I feel Blue is on the cusp and look forward to hearing how we will address technique and up our game against the Team down South. I feel That other team is invested in hating us 365 and from hearing Bush’s comments we are don’t even believe we will win. Thanks Mr. Jansen and have a Great Bacon Day!
-
JimWh123432Great, in depth, up beat analysis.Jansen is a joy to listen too. His love is the game is evident and he reminds me of an early Chris Spielman in the broadcast booth. He loves the University and is great at giving an inside view I’d What it’s like to be a college player at Michigan. I saw him okay while I was there and it’s a treat for me to hear him talk about players and coaches that were on campus when I was there. He’s not a sycophant though, he will say when things aren’t going great. He just refuses to indulge in the despair and Uber criticism of some Michigan fans when things don’t go well. His optimism and humor are excellent. Love this podcast. He also asked for a would you rather: Would you rather: Whom would you rather fight for a pound of bacon. I’m thinking a plate of bacon in the middle and you and another guy in either end, first person to drive the other guy off wins the bacon; Jon vs. Hutchinson Jon vs. Runyon Sr? Jon vs. Gittleson? Or Or Jon vs. a bear? Random Question: How has your body held up after so many years in college and the league?
-
jimbowinkRegular listenerI enjoy the show. I prefer a focus on mainly football and what is going on with the team and coaches to prepare. Always great to hear from the position coaches and especially coach Brown and Zordich! I’d definitely like to hear more of a breakdown of our qb play with how other conference qbs compare.

David Vernon 35Highlight of my weekAmazing job guys. Thoroughly enjoy listening to this podcast every week. The interviews are great and I love the structure of your episodes. I have some content for you: Jon - Would you rather be a minimal impact player on a national championship winning team or a star player on the losing national championship team? #2: You can only pick 1. Would you rather never have bacon again or never watch michigan football again? Bacon Fact: The phrase “Bringing home the bacon” dates back centuries. These days the phrase refers to making money but its origins have nothing to do with income. In 12th century England, churches would award a side of bacon (called a flitch) to any married man who swore before God that he and his wife had not argued for a year and a day. Men who “brought home the bacon” were seen as exemplary citizens and husbands.
